11/07/2026: A lunch I won't forget... simply disgusting. Although the waitress was friendly but incompetent, and the setting completely lacking in charm despite its large size, the problem with this establishment lies with the food. I ordered the set menu, which started with a gizzard salad. The gizzards were rancid and served with a salad that looked like it came from a bag bought at Metro or the corner store. Not even a dressing to liven things up. But nothing too serious compared to the main course. After asking if it was a local specialty, which was confirmed, I tried the Potée du Marais (a dish with eel and frog legs). Okay, it's a bit daring, but since it was confirmed to be a specialty, I ordered it. I couldn't manage more than one bite. The eel was awful. I sent back the plate that was brought to me, and then sent it back again, explaining the situation once more. I insisted that the package should be checked to verify the expiration date, or that the product (since it wasn't fresh) hadn't been defrosted properly. It was no use; the waitress took my dish back and offered me nothing in return, claiming the dish was fine according to the chef, who didn't even bother to come over and tell me this to my face. My brother, who was having lunch with me, was also served a bland goat cheese salad to start, followed by a pizza that would have been better if it had come from Picard. We decided not to order dessert, even though mine was on the menu. When it came time to pay, not a single gesture. My brother didn't even argue; if I had been paying, I would have made a scene. It's simply shameful, and I'm seriously considering filing a complaint with the DGCCRF (French Directorate General for Competition Policy, Consumer Affairs and Fraud Control) soon. Given the eel I was served, I think there must be a problem with food storage at this establishment. My advice: avoid this place, and if you're already seated, run away!

13/05/2026: The waitress didn't know how to say thank you or goodbye. She put down the receipt as soon as we paid and left with another customer without a word. Besides being quite unpleasant, she was also very rude.

26/06/2026: Honestly, for a brasserie, the daily specials are really tasty and well-thought-out. The menu is also very appealing, and the value for money is excellent. The fish is fresh and cooked perfectly. A typical Marseilles atmosphere.

25/05/2026: If you have 3 hours and 15 minutes to spare to get an espresso, this is the ideal place.

01/08/2026: We were seated and waited 15 minutes for a carafe of water, even though it was 40°C (104°F) and we had to ask several times. Furthermore, the carafe the waiter brought us came from another table and hadn't been washed. The crepes were barely cooked (very rubbery) and the caramel was runny and tasteless! We were very disappointed; even the bill wasn't processed quickly.

04/07/2026: I ordered two milkshakes and was very disappointed. A milkshake isn't simply milk mixed with syrup or powder. The base of a real milkshake is ice cream, milk, and perhaps a flavoring (vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, etc.), all blended until you get a thick and creamy texture. A quick reminder of the recipe: 2 to 3 scoops of ice cream About 20 cl of very cold milk A flavoring or a sauce if desired Blend, and it's ready. The product I was served was liquid, had no texture, and was nothing like a real milkshake. At this price, you have the right to expect the basics to be respected. I hope this review will prompt the owner to revise the recipe and improve the quality of what is served.

15/07/2026: Honestly disappointing. It's just an "efficient" self-service restaurant. It used to be good. But now the food quality is appalling. And don't even get me started on the trays and cutlery... not a single one is clean. They're greasy, completely unwashed... we had to wipe them down with a napkin. Honestly, very disappointed.

18/07/2026: Contrary to the stated opening hours (until 5 pm on Saturdays), we were ushered out of the café at 4:20 pm with three small children in an extremely unfriendly manner. This is no way to treat guests!

19/02/2026: Pastry chef, chocolatier, and caterer: a true delight for the palate and a great place for those with a sweet tooth, offering fine and original pastries to enjoy in the tea room or to take away, homemade artisanal ice cream, and even some savory items in the deli section for lunch... Prices are higher than elsewhere, but the quality justifies them...

27/07/2026: McDonald's right on the edge of town. Totally overcrowded, and it looks like it inside, making it difficult to eat. We walked in and there were pickles, fries, and leftover meat on the floor. There was even a pigeon that had wandered in.

25/07/2026: Hello, I saw cockroaches on the floor and I told a woman and they didn't do anything. And then I went to eat and they took my table.

16/05/2026: The bedding was of poor quality. For a room costing €106, it's really disappointing. We should have booked a first-class room! The mattress was completely soft, deformed, and noisy. One of the light switches was broken... The welcome was good, and the breakfast was decent.

13/05/2026: Easy parking, well located for a stopover near the highway, fairly spacious room, pleasant bathroom, welcoming staff. Note that the restaurant is not open on Friday evenings! They did offer us a pizza though! (Thank you!) Breakfast was a bit overpriced, lacking fresh fruit (there were only apples and oranges, a bit limited), and the scrambled eggs were cold. The quality of the pastries and cakes, especially the flaky brioche, was poor; it was soggy and not crispy at all, which was a shame!

04/08/2026: A pebble was found in the seeded baguette. €2.50 to break a tooth, that's a steep price to pay!

03/08/2026: We stopped for lunch and had some delicious sandwiches. They make them constantly, so they're always fresh and tasty. The pastries were also very good. A great variety, and everything looks delicious.

11/06/2026: Well located, but the room and bathroom weren't very clean. Very noisy at night.
