22/09/2024: Restaurant distingué, où on vous sert avec attention une cuisine goûteuse, travaillée, joliment présentée. Le service est à la hauteur du tout : aimable, attentionné, accueillant. On y est reçu comme en famille.

12/08/2024: Nous souhaitions manger des spécialités de la région et nous n'avons pas été déçus. De la tartiflette à la croziflette, des fondues et petit fondant d'arly, nous nous sommes régalés, profitant de la terrasse et de la superbe vue. L'accueil est top, très bien conseillés, nous avons passés un très agréable moment poir terminer l'après-midi dans la piscine mise à disposition. A refaire sans hésiter lors d'une prochaine visite dans la région.

15/09/2024: Un bel endroit, au calme, à l'entrée du village de Courmes. J ai peut-être été un peu déçue car je m t'attendais à une carte plus diversifiée et à des plats plus originaux... Nous avons mangé correctement, sans plus, et les prix sont très raisonnables. Ce bel endroit mériterait un petit coup de rafraîchissement et une nouvelle carte.

12/08/2024: Auberge très accueillante sous une tonnelle de raisins framboisés, tenue par un couple charmant et courageux. Les plats copieux et délicieux. À recommander.

29/10/2024: Accueil très sympathique, serveurs aimables, plats très bien préparés et copieusement servis. Je recommande vivement ce restaurant idéalement situé au coeur de la vielle ville.

06/10/2024: Pequeño restaurante sencillo - buena comida italiana y cocina local, justo al lado de la pasarela a lo largo del río. Servicio bueno, comida genial.

14/07/2025: Magali B Wrote a review 4 contributions Nice, France Yesterday Disgusting We used to go there occasionally; it was simple and good. Saturday lunchtime, the service was rather light. We ordered seared tuna, fries, salad, and a carpaccio. The fries were half burnt, the oil smelled awful... The tuna was in four small pieces, and I wasn't sure it was fresh... The carpaccio was slightly dark, which was a bit surprising, as it didn't smell at all. But what a surprise—it wasn't completely thawed, yes, it was still very frozen! I called the waitress over, and she replied, "Oh yes, the carpaccio is frozen." Sorry, would you like something else? A bit shocked, our appetite was ruined. Instead of choosing something else, we should have left. Not a single gesture of goodwill, not even a free coffee. Of course, we didn't even try dessert and went to get ice cream at Arlequin's instead. So disappointed! It was disgusting, there's no other word for it, for around 50 euros. They need to change the staff or find a new line of work; it's a disgrace. I don't usually write such negative reviews, but this is just unthinkable... That's my anger, so don't go there! 😱

28/09/2025: What a memorable experience at the Edelweiss Restaurant! I ordered a moussaka, hoping for an explosion of Greek flavors, but what a surprise: potatoes as crunchy as forgotten potato chips at the back of a cupboard. My partner, perplexed, dared to ask if this was normal. The waitress, lovely but overwhelmed, sent the plate back to the kitchen. And then, drumroll please, the chef himself bursts in, like a hero of a culinary tragedy, to defend his crunchy potatoes, a sacred recipe for the past 20 years! According to him, melt-in-your-mouth is for the weak; real moussaka is crunch or nothing. The result? A plate sent back, a disgusted partner who settled for dessert (decent, but well, it's hard to mess up a cheese platter), and me finishing my meal as a spectator to a gastronomic drama. Advice to the owner: a little humility and a thermometer for your potatoes might prevent a dinner from turning into a philosophical debate. We'll come back... or maybe not!

30/09/2023: Good atmosphere. Good food. Decent wines - Caves du Tain. Excellent host and hostess. Enjoyed watching world cup rugby and playing boule out the back between games. Recommended.
