17/06/2025: Excellent. The owner is super friendly. I stopped by during my second Camino de Santiago walk.

16/06/2025: Fantastic, the only restaurant that was open in this area. Eat what the pot provides. A menu for everyone, salad, farmer's chicken, some cheese and fruit. Really recommended.

16/03/2026: I was a little surprised upon arrival to find that the restaurant indicated in Soultz-les-Bains was actually located outside the Soultz-les-Bains exit sign. Luckily, seeing the sign for Biblenheim, then Rue de Biblenheim, we didn't turn back. A sign indicating the restaurant earlier would have been helpful. We came as a group of four for the "Resto en Fête" (Restaurant Festival) event. The amuse-bouches, the starter, and the veal spider steak were very good. We all enjoyed them. One small drawback: the pleasant filled tartlet dessert was a bit too sweet in the vanilla cream, as is often the case with pastries elsewhere. Regarding the noise level, the four of us had a good conversation, so we could talk without any problems, and therefore there were no complaints. Towards the end, one person who had suffered a stroke had a slight headache. But we were about to leave. One drawback: I requested a candle, or something similar, when making the reservation to celebrate one of our sons' birthdays. I was told to mention it again at the restaurant, which I did when ordering drinks. But I never received a candle or any inscription. They had apparently forgotten. I didn't dare ask again. On another note, when paying, one of the waitresses seemed annoyed that I checked the bill. I prefer to check the bill, especially when, like here, I've come from far away, and most people do. As for the other waitresses, the young blonde one was pleasant, but the young mixed-race waitress was particularly efficient and very kind. The wait time was perfectly acceptable, no complaints. We will return.

15/03/2026: The setting is very nice, but the food was inconsistent, some dishes very good, others less so. We were a table of seven, arrived at 12:15 pm, and left at 3:25 pm. That says it all. The service was very slow, far too slow, and completely disorganized; some dishes and desserts arrived before others. And I won't even mention the order mistakes. Some waitresses were very kind, while others were much less so, practically shoving dishes at you without a smile or any empathy. A real shame for such a historic establishment.

16/03/2026: First time stopping at this inn, and once I arrived in the dining room... the starters were incredibly fresh, the whelks were of excellent quality and flavor, and the calf's head was also a starter—what a treat! Thank you again for this wonderful, convivial experience 😊

17/03/2026: We were very warmly welcomed at the restaurant. Florence, who took care of us, was extremely friendly and welcoming. Her jokes made the evening even more enjoyable, and we felt very comfortable. We had an appetizer, followed by wine and meat. Everything we ate was truly delicious. Both the quality of the food and the service were excellent. We especially want to thank Florence for her attention, energy, and lovely conversation. Thanks to her, we had a very pleasant evening. We will definitely be back.

17/03/2026: We had a lovely evening. Despite the change of ownership, we were well served and welcomed by Florence, the restaurant manager, who was very friendly, helpful, and always smiling. It's a shame she's not staying. 🫤 I had meat, and it was very tender. I recommend this restaurant; I go there regularly.

15/01/2026: Excellent place. From simple to more elaborate cuisine, everything is delicious and, above all, very generous portions. Special mention goes to the always delectable desserts. Top-notch service; I highly recommend it to everyone.

17/03/2026: Dirty toilets, no toilet paper, and a constant smell of toilet cleaner despite being filthy. Toilet bowls on the floor. Often no toilet paper. A shame for the reputation of the French. Otherwise, everything else is fine!

09/02/2026: A perfect meal. Maybe one of best wines I’ve had in years and certainly the best flourless chocolate cake I’ve ever had. This tiny spot is a true gem in Paris.

20/01/2026: A French-Peruvian restaurant. The food is creative and excellent. Out of 9 courses we were delighted with 8 and for some reason 1 (the meat) was a disappointment. Which is odd as we went from 8 Michelin star dishes to one poor plate :( The service is done by the chef's wife. She is very knowledgeable, professional, but very formal. The down part is the atmosphere is cold (no table cloth, it feels empty). We think they could greatly impove there. One good point is the tableq are big and wide apart. Please note you are forced to come ay 19h30 :( And as indicated above, for ecologic reason there is no table cloth, silverware is changed only twice. This is a nice initiative but it is not much fun. To conclude, you are going to eat very good. Price is fair considering it is 9 courses and excellent. But atmosphere isn't there.
