21/08/2026: A very nice restaurant, the cuisine is refined, the staff is very friendly, you can go there with your eyes closed.

20/08/2026: Food was good. Service was almost non-existent. The wait was horrendous. If you're not in a hurry and not hungry, you can go.

Thank you! Ten years later, you've rekindled our love for Lyon's traditional bistros. We spent €30-40 and had a bottle of wine.

08/08/2026: A huge disappointment this morning. The owner and staff weren't exactly motivated, serving just one coffee and two completely cold cappuccinos. We weren't asking for the moon, just a smile and a little human warmth. This job is tough and not easy, and the staff are allowed to be exhausted or not at their best, but still (it was just not their day). It's a shame; we ended up eating elsewhere for lunch.

20/06/2026: Homemade fries We were a party of four and paid €230. Main courses and desserts: €230 Quite expensive, but everything is homemade. Except for the chocolate fondant, which came in a cardboard box and was left in the trash. Salad and fries Meat and fish The coffee is good.

24/07/2026: Rude, not recommended. I sat down at a terrace that was mostly empty but slowly started filling up. I sat down at the table. The waitress ignored me for quite some time. In the meantime she was serving everybody else but finally she turned up and she told me she wouldn't take my order. Then she said he table was reserved so I moved on to another table in fact all the tables were reserved. There were no signs, no nothing. In fact people we seating themselves. In any caseshe could have told me at the first point when I sat down. I had a really uncomfortable experience.

07/08/2026: This is our fourth time having lunch at La Monnaie, and it's always a pleasure. This time, there were four adults and four children in our party, and everyone left delighted. Every plate was finished, proof that the dishes were a hit! The food was generous, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The terrace is very pleasant, with a friendly and family atmosphere. A big thank you to our server, who was smiling, attentive, patient, and incredibly kind throughout the meal. An excellent restaurant in Figeac that we highly recommend. We will gladly return on our next visit! 😊

06/08/2026: Yesterday we ate there for the first time during our short trip to Auvergne and we had a very good meal. The welcome was very warm and the owners were very friendly and pleasant. The only thing that could be improved is to put fewer biscuits on top of the chocolate mousse because, as it is, the mousse is so good, but the layer of biscuit first detracts a little from it, even though the biscuit was very good; I would have preferred to have it whole on the side as decoration.

27/01/2026: A very good restaurant with a superb selection of imported meats. It would have been even more enjoyable with a greater focus on our excellent French meats. Perhaps this will be added in the coming weeks? Cooking was perfectly executed, and the portions were generous. A very good wine list as well.
