30/04/2026: Excellent service, excellent food. Everything was perfect.

11/04/2026: What an experience on the terrace... Not a dive bar at all, 👌 a proper establishment, a real restaurant where it's a pleasure to stop and which truly deserves 5 stars, if only for the welcome and the food. No time for the local wines (which we know very well, unfortunately, but next time on our four-wheel drive, a Givry will be welcome...) but a tasty craft beer, Charolais beef worthy of the region, and a very friendly welcome. The owners and service were top-notch. A very pleasant surprise for the three of us, which we will definitely repeat. And vintage cars galore... what a region for April! Thank you for everything, so rare and sincere in the culinary world. A bright hope for the warmer days ahead...

19/06/2026: Ordered the daily specials. Homemade terrine and sliced ​​beef. Everything was excellent, everything is homemade. Professional and warm welcome, lots of regulars, which is a good sign.

12/06/2026: Absolutely braw wee family-run place, really for the French-speakin’ crowd, but even if your français is a bit ropey it’s still dead doable. Surrounded by locals and nae Brits, wi a simple hand-scrieved French menu board, Le P’tit served up one of the tastiest, most laid-back plats du jour I’ve ever had. Tipped off by my host oot in the sticks, it was well worth traipsin’ intae Saintes for this cheap wee belter. During the recent May heatwave, I settled in outside at one of a few casually-dotted tables under the shade of a perfectly-placed tree, and had an experience I’d happily repeat on the regular. Pure magnifique.

09/05/2026: A very pleasant restaurant, friendly and helpful staff, excellent and generous portions. Prices are slightly higher than what you can find in the area, but not excessive, and quality comes at a price.

29/06/2026: Arrived at 9pm on a Sunday at 4pm, barely enough to be accepted, we listened to the service, closing at 10pm, so express service, grilled fish at €39, steamed fish, extremely expensive for the quality, very disappointed, we can be passing through but you need to rethink your approach.

02/06/2026: It's a wonderful place. The setting is charming and peaceful. The staff is absolutely delightful, just like the owners who love to cultivate a warm and welcoming atmosphere and good taste. The food reflects this perfectly. What a difference between the menu descriptions and the reality! The dishes are beautifully prepared with delicacy and flavor. The presentation on the plate is exquisite. My two stays, on the way to and from a motorcycle trip, were a pure delight.

21/06/2026: A hilly and physically demanding golf course. 8 par-3 holes, so your iron and approach shots will be on point. You'll have a great time amidst the Basque Country mountains.

10/05/2026: We visited last Sunday and enjoyed excellent food served with a smile; a special mention goes to the duck with pepper sauce. The dining room was a little noisy due to limited soundproofing, but the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. Very good value for money; we'll definitely be back.
