23/02/2026: We arrived a little late, the kitchen was closing, but despite that, we received a very warm welcome. The chefs turned their lights back on, and we had a wonderful meal. The meat was cooked to perfection, as were the vegetables, whose flavors and textures were incredible. Everything is excellent here, from the welcome to the food prepared right before your eyes. Thank you so much!

18/01/2026: Forget the endless plains of Scotland. Here, we're in Nice: it's hilly, it's technical, and it's the only place where you can work on your swing while getting a "commando"-style calf workout. The Pros: Proximity: This is the ultimate luxury. No need to drive all the way to Mougins or Cannes. You can play a quick round between appointments or before picking up the kids. A green 10 minutes from the city center is almost indecent. The Driving Range: Ideal for letting off steam. You hit balls facing the hill, and even if you don't end up at the Masters in Augusta, it's still the best spot to relieve the stress of traffic jams on the Promenade des Anglais. The Restaurant (The 10th Hole): Probably the part of the course where everyone hits their shot. The terrace is pleasant, the welcome is friendly, and the food is better than your own score for the day would suggest. The downsides: The "Vertical" Terrain: Calling it a "course" is an understatement; it's a climb. Unless you're a mountain goat or you've taken a golf cart, prepare to finish the course out of breath and with a sudden urge to buy an ice axe rather than a putter. The Limited Space: It's a compact 9-hole course. If your drive tends to veer a little too far to the right or left, you have a 50% chance of ending up in a neighbor's garden or asking another golfer if they saw your honor (and your ball). The Prices: We're on the French Riviera, in the middle of residential hills. The price of the green fee is a gentle reminder that golf is a prestigious sport, even if you end up in the bunker for 20 minutes. Verdict: A little gem of technical skill for those who want to play without leaving town. It's family-friendly, it's green, and it's an excellent test of your accuracy (and your cardio). A word of advice: keep your eyes on the ball and your feet firmly planted, because the slope here is unforgiving!

28/02/2026: We were able to come here with a large group without a reservation. Unfortunately, they weren't really equipped for it. The kitchen was basic.

05/05/2026: Family meal for 14 people, with a quote received in advance. We paid the bill and left the restaurant, but very quickly we questioned the total amount paid, approximately €700. After checking and complaining, we were told there had been an “error” in the quote sent by email, then informed that desserts were not included, even though the waiter had offered to replace desserts with coffee for those who wished. We were also told that at that price, we “weren’t getting a good deal.” This was followed by more than a month of follow-ups to obtain a refund, with repeated excuses to justify the delays (impossibility of making the transfer, waiting for the son, transfer problems, lack of funds, etc.). In the end, we received a partial refund of €200, and we let the children’s menus, which were charged at the adult menu price, go unaddressed. Given the facts and the numerous difficulties encountered in obtaining legal status, everything suggests that the situation was deliberately complicated. It's a shame, because the meal itself was decent. A very negative experience. Caution is strongly advised.

17/04/2026: We were staying at the camper van area just across the road. We had a marvelous dinner, food was very good as was the wine and service. Definitely recommend

30/04/2026: Very bad experience. I dropped off my phone because the touchscreen stopped working overnight. I was simply told it was being sent for repair, without ever mentioning that a repair estimate would be charged. (I actually dealt with two different salespeople over several days before handing over my phone, and neither of them ever mentioned that I would have to pay €50 under the pretext of never getting my phone back). The result: I'm being asked for €50 for a "diagnosis" even though I haven't been given any clear explanation for the problem. Then they refuse the warranty, claiming a crack on the phone, without being able to prove that it's related to the touchscreen issue. Finally, they're asking me for €130 for repairs, without any real justification. (Even though the product is under warranty and the problem isn't what they claim, they're even unable to identify the fault despite you paying €50.) These are abusive and unprofessional practices. There's a complete lack of transparency and explanation. I strongly advise against using them. Contacting the DGCCRF (French Directorate General for Competition Policy, Consumer Affairs and Fraud Control) and obtaining legal insurance will be helpful in asserting your rights!

29/04/2026: Be very careful if you return a phone still under warranty; they won't honor it. Worse, they'll hold your phone hostage unless you pay €50 to get it back, even though it no longer works. Furthermore, when you ask for clarification on their quotes, they are unable to clearly explain the defects listed on the €50 quote you just paid (even though you're under warranty). And if you still want information, they'll give you a number that no one answers! Be extremely careful; none of this was ever mentioned during my interactions with the salespeople (it's a scam)!!!

12/05/2026: We were a group of 36 people, and the service was excellent. The meal was superb. A wonderful experience that we'd love to repeat!

01/05/2026: A hidden gem at the foot of the cathedral! A wonderful discovery! The restaurant is ideally located right next to the cathedral, with a lovely terrace that must be delightful on sunny days. The service is simply top-notch: the waitresses are smiling, attentive, and, a major plus, present without ever being intrusive. You truly feel welcome. As for the food, it's a delight from start to finish: The pork knuckle with Munster sauce was perfect, and the vol-au-vents were delicious. We finished on an excellent sweet note with the Black Forest cake and the pistachio crème brûlée, both very good! We booked through TheFork, and the discount was applied without any problem and with a smile. The bill was very reasonable, especially for such a prime location. In short, a reliable and generous restaurant that I highly recommend! I will gladly return!
