But there was a lack of warmth, both in the service and the atmosphere; the minimalist decor didn't make me feel comfortable.
But I still recommend this restaurant! The food is excellent.

21/03/2026: Very disappointed! My wife and I thought we'd never come, but once we got home, we realized we had, and it certainly didn't leave a lasting impression... The waiter was quite cold, almost as if we were bothering him. The meal was average for the price. No wonder it's closing...

27/09/2026: A bit of a dated hotel. But super nice people who make up for that. Quiet location, large garden and swimming pool. Restaurant attached where you can sit inside or on the beautiful outdoor terrace with a view of the bay of Ajaccio.
Don't follow the Google route, you'll end up completely in the wrong place. Enter APA & MELE for Pierre Torre et Pierre Francoise. They are located next door. The sign is on the street.
05/07/2026: The menu as a whole was satisfactory; we appreciated the local produce. However, the price was a bit high. Perhaps an aperitif or a local digestif could have been included? We had plenty of time between courses, even though there weren't many people. The owner seemed reserved in explaining the menu. If you have the budget, the set menu is worthwhile; it's a shame there aren't any other options.

19/09/2026: We came for lunch on Thursday, and I can tell you it was excellent, everything homemade. Plus, the owners were super friendly and welcoming, and so was the waitress. We came back on Friday for a glass of rosé, had a great chat with the owner, and learned a lot! 👍 Cassel is fantastic; people take the time to talk with you. 👍 We'll never forget this place; it's etched in our memories forever. A big thank you to you, Mr. and Mrs. Owners! 🍀👍
12/09/2026: We had a wonderful evening at the town hall. The owners are very welcoming and warm, just like the people of the north. The food is excellent, the portions are generous, and the dishes are typical of the region. I highly recommend this place if you're ever in Cassel.

The ingredients were high quality, the culinary combinations were beautiful, and above all, the wine list offered a wide variety of wines recommended by a very friendly and knowledgeable sommelier. The ambiance could be warmer, but everything else more than makes up for it.

The food is fresh, local, and absolutely delicious!
The waitress is super friendly and always smiling, and you can tell right away that she knows her drinks and food menus inside and out. ☺️

Real and authentic.
I won't list everything, but...
Simple and delicious traditional cuisine, the place is clean, and the entrance has a 70s Dick Rivers vibe.
Stop by for some great traditional food.
