30/12/2025: A restaurant right on the port, with a terrace that's pleasant even in winter (they have blankets for all the tables). Meal times are very flexible and the service is friendly. The food is delicious and not too expensive. A perfect lunch in the charming town of Sanary.

24/11/2025: A lovely place to discover, with a friendly young owner from Franche-Comté, quality cuisine, excellent wines, and delicious homemade cheeses and desserts. A beautiful terrace in the summer, in a small village with a priory and a charming, timeless garden that's definitely worth a visit.

23/11/2025: As a long-time customer of Père Chaussy, I have tried the Agapons several times. I am not criticizing the work, unfortunately this is the last time, it no longer meets my expectations.

17/10/2024: Y manger permet de faire une plongée dans le passé, à l'époque où l'on servait encore les mets dans des plats. Ici, la soupe arrive sur la table dans une soupière, le poisson et son accompagnement dans deux plats différents, le plateau de fromage vous est laissé à discrétion sur la table, et même le petit pichet de 25 cl de rosé à 5€ est apporté dans un petit seau sur un lit de glaçons ! Menu unique à 28 € sans aucun choix possible pour l'entrée (une soupe de légumes) et le plat (du saumon). Trois dessert au choix : nous avons pris la mousse au chocolat, excellente. Cadre familial un peu désuet mais sympa.

19/06/2025: Gastronomic restaurant in the historical centre of Bargemon with a small, cosy terrace. Dish of the day for €18, choice of 2-course menu from €28. The duck with yakitori sauce is highly recommended.

13/01/2026: The quality has declined compared to 5 years ago. Perhaps there's been a change of ownership? Only the decor is worthwhile; the food lacks effort, and consequently, the price no longer reflects it. A shame for this magnificent restaurant.

02/01/2026: The value for money is clearly lacking. The €39 set menu (starter/main course) is expensive for a brasserie, and the €10 dessert option offers no real benefit. The service is the main weakness: a cold welcome, visibly stressed and rushed waiters, the feeling of being rushed rather than truly attended to, and no advice offered, particularly regarding wine selection. The meat was indeed well-cooked, but served cold, which is hardly acceptable at this price point. Overall, the experience feels rushed despite the food being decent in substance.

17/01/2026: Another resounding success for La Bascule Caudry! 😍 My son said as we left, "See, I told you it was amazing!" 😍 We have a fantastic meal every time! The waitresses are friendly and helpful! We'll definitely be back! 🤩 Okay, the only downside to the restaurant is the unlit and rather inconvenient parking lot... full of potholes and bumps... and the same goes for the restaurant itself, where the lighting is poor (we had a visually impaired person eating).

15/01/2026: Very disappointed with our last visit. We waited 40 minutes to be served. A children's meal arrived: pasta with minced steak. The pasta arrived with 2 cm of water in the bowl-shaped dish. It was sent back to the kitchen. It came back cold and in one solid block (no oil). We couldn't even get a drink. I have a lot of reviews on Google, and this is one of the first times I've posted such a negative review. Something to think about for next time.

18/01/2026: The food was really good! Fresh and creative! Portions are perfect given the number of dishes in the menu! The place is typically Paris Bistro so a little on the rudimentary side. Some members of staff are super friendly and accommodating others less so and…. The food was great!

04/01/2026: We had the tasting menu and two glasses of wine. Fish and seafood dishes lacked craftsmanship, relied mostly on the freshness and the quality of scallops and brim. Salmon and lamb dishes were amazing, but not a "wow". Desserts were the real surprises, they deserve a big WOW! Place was not heated properly. They don't read and/or accomodate the reservation notes, if you are there for a celebration.

11/12/2025: We stayed at the hotel for two days (overnight stay, meals, and a seminar) for a seminar. The hotel and rooms are clean and in good condition. The beds are large and comfortable. The location is quiet, and we slept very well. The food was excellent. The ingredients were fresh (the set menu, including starter, main course, and dessert, was created daily using the freshest produce available). The dishes were simple (we had to prepare over 60 menus in 1 hour and 30 minutes) but very tasty, well-cooked, and served quickly. The menu was provided in advance so that anyone with intolerances, allergies, or any other dietary needs could request a personalized adjustment. Thank you for your cheerfulness and responsiveness. The seminar room (a large wedding hall) was spacious enough and equipped with everything we needed for our seminar: a projector, microphone, lectern, coffee maker, restrooms, heating, etc. And finally, the staff was wonderful, from the sales team to the receptionists, including the housekeeping and catering staff. Everything was done to ensure that everything ran smoothly. The participants left delighted with the seminar conditions, and we were relieved not to have had any logistical issues to deal with in addition to running the seminar itself. A big thank you to the entire team.

10/12/2025: Really not great. Team meal, unfriendly staff, the waitress was annoyed when we told her we'd already discussed the choice between fish and pork with management... The starter was okay, but there was hardly anything on the plate... The fish dish was really bad, I didn't finish it... I'm dreading the dessert... In short... No duck option...
