The Peruvian dark chocolate tart, made to order, is truly excellent. The homemade ginger cookies are also a real treat. A must-try! 06/07/2026: Excellent dinner at a restaurant with a very unique identity. With a couple who met in Paris with origins in Japan and Malaysia it’s almost poetic the restaurant they have created. The food had a unique identity with a mix of Malay, Japanese , and French techniques and flavors. I appreciated how every dish was very balanced with a multitude of both flavors and little details with the texture and temperature of different parts of each dish. The service was great with a great wine pairing and knowledge as well as helping us understand each dish. I would love to hear more about the story and the inspiration behind each dish. But overall phenomenal food and even better desserts. I particularly enjoyed the calamansi. Would 100% visit when I’m back in Paris

The service was seamless and professional, and we particularly appreciated the attention they gave us, especially the fact that they let us taste all the canapés during the cocktail hour—a detail that made all the difference! Our guests also complimented the quality of the food and service. A huge thank you to the entire team for this wonderful service! We highly recommend them!

20/10/2026: What can I say except that this establishment embodies the spirit of old-fashioned bistros? Authenticity and sincerity are the watchwords as soon as you step through Nicole's door. What could be more basic these days than having a drink in a bar? But when it's served with a smile and by someone passionate about their work, that makes all the difference. A word to those who appreciate value and tradition: step inside this little bistro, have a beer, and chat with the charming Nicole. +++++

30/05/2026: I stopped by here during my pilgrimage along the Via Francigena. You can get a stamp here. The beer they recommended, La Licquoise, is apparently a craft beer from the neighboring town of Licques. It had a lovely aroma and rich flavor; it was delicious.

23/09/2026: We discovered this welcoming restaurant by chance during a wedding anniversary celebration. The service was friendly. The raclette was generous with five varieties of cheese, and the charcuterie was excellent. Beautifully presented. Thank you! We had a lovely time. And thank you for the extra touch at the back of the restaurant.

13/09/2026: Outrageously expensive drinks: €4 for a simple syrup... €4.50 for a soda, €2.50 for an espresso, €5.50 for a double espresso – truly outrageous!... €10 for ice cream sundaes... the crepes are reasonably priced. This menu makes no sense.

11/10/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A truly wonderful discovery in Nice! We were lucky enough to enjoy a whole grilled sea bream, absolutely exceptional: perfectly cooked, flavorful fish, and remarkably fresh. That's precisely what makes all the difference! It's become quite rare to find a restaurant in Nice that offers a genuine whole grilled fish, prepared with such care. A real treat for fish lovers and an experience that deserves to be highlighted. We also ordered the gratinated mussels, which were simply excellent: ultra-fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the respect for the product on the plate. And a huge congratulations to the entire front-of-house team! The service was simply exceptional: remarkably kind, polite, courteous, smiling, and attentive waiters from beginning to end. It's so pleasant to be welcomed with such warmth, kindness, and professionalism. Their kindness truly made this moment even more enjoyable. Excellent cuisine, a whole grilled fish—a rare find in Nice these days—and the kind of personal service we wish we saw everywhere! We recommend this place without hesitation and will gladly return. A huge thank you to the entire team for this delightful experience! 🐟👏❤️

09/10/2026: We wanted to try Café de Paris after its recent reopening and had lunch there today as a group of three. We were very disappointed for a brasserie that claims to serve bistronomic cuisine: the Norman-style veal escalopes arrived lukewarm, and we asked for them to be reheated. The fries (supposedly homemade… which I sincerely doubt) arrived completely white, barely cooked, and barely warm, with just two or three small lettuce leaves on the side. The plate served was sad and sparsely filled. A huge disappointment. The only positive point: the service was decent.
