23/01/2026: The service was very slow. The dishes served were extremely disappointing. They had no flavor whatsoever: the hummus and eggplant caviar were tasteless; the small bowl of leeks was tasty but a ridiculously small portion. 20 euros!!! This is unacceptable.

09/01/2026: We wanted to try onion soup and didn’t really know what to expect. Turned out it was pretty good and we loved it. The waiter was friendly, though there was a bit of confusion when he added a tip without informing us, which we know it is not compulsory in France or Europe in general. We asked about it and he refunded the difference. Not sure if it was intentional or just a pure mistake. Overall, we had a good dining experience.

03/01/2026: My wife and I loved this place ! We both had the roast duck breast . We intend to return the next time we go to Paris. On our last visit in October we did not have enough time . It’s in a nice area too. Staff was very friendly. Other diners were relaxed and friendly as well.

08/01/2026: Horrible!! Avoid at all costs! Frozen food, a disgrace to the restaurant industry. I think a little visit from the health inspectors would do this man who calls himself "Chef" a world of good!! The only advantage is that it's empty, so you don't have to wait for a table...

23/12/2025: It's impossible to imagine this place exists just by walking down the street. Only the impressive and reassuring presence of the doorman gives it away. The terrace is very pleasant. The staff is very friendly. It's an excellent place for a company event.

31/08/2025: Absolutely beautiful food and the staff are very welcoming and friendly. Only thing missing was a little bit of music. But the view and the staff make it's. It's a little pricey but completely worth it!

22/08/2025: Good place with a high price tag. That’s ok, service and ambience are good. Food as well, was a bit underwhelmed by the selection and the look of the fresh fish at hand on the day and ended up eating meat (which was great) non the less I would have expected more choice and freshness from their seafood offer( nevertheless the lobsters were still alive ) maybe just the wrong day. Still will go back and try again

04/11/2025: A very pleasant experience in this welcoming restaurant on the village square, run by two friendly and attentive owners. It has a real "homey" atmosphere with its wooden tables and a menu of generous and varied dishes, including some Basque specialties. Good value for money, not to mention the homemade fries. "The meat is incredibly tender and melts in your mouth, sourced from a local Basque butcher," one of the owners told me. The service is efficient and courteous, allowing you to take the time to experience the rhythm of the region and exchange tips for exploring the Basque Country. We'll definitely be back for another delicious meal and this quintessential Basque experience.

21/10/2025: We went twice during our stay. On Tuesdays, it's one of the few open. You should know (we didn't know) that this restaurant was recently taken over. Not the best in terms of flavor, but the server (owner?) is attentive and his wine list is more than decent. The only two typically local dishes on his menu were unavailable, yeah. Otherwise, well, it's better than the baguette and pâté from the supermarket anyway.

18/08/2025: Very nice place, traditional cuisine like you rarely find, refined and tasty. Friendly staff, a very good stop for cycling.

05/11/2025: We had a wonderful time at Gab'Elo, enjoying a meal halfway between home and the grandparents' house to pick up the children. The galettes are original, delicious, and generously filled, all at a very reasonable price. And to top it all off, the staff is incredibly attentive. In short, I recommend it 100% without hesitation! And we might even come back for our next vacation.

21/05/2025: Very good lunch. Friendly atmosphere with locals. Very friendly managers. Good, plentiful, and inexpensive food. Will do it again and again.

02/04/2025: This very well placed establishment is, in my opinion, largely overvalued. In a western theme, an entrance buffet presents nothing original or regional. Why offer eggs and mayonnaise, then egg salad with mayonnaise? (For example) Dish of the day, with overcooked rice, accompanied by 2 small lightly stuffed tomatoes. The homemade fries are perfect and crispy covering a very fine fish fillet. Only the crème brûlées pleased us. I finished with an espresso which was not an espresso 😬. Original, Tahiti beer, while an excellent brewery is less than 10 km away.

08/11/2025: The crepes are very good, the cider too, but I think it's a shame to charge extra for two finely shredded salad leaves next to a savory crepe.

05/08/2025: Everything was perfect: the welcome, the crepes, the location. A big thank you for having us, a more than pleasant break during our cycling trip.

11/01/2026: Where is the old-fashioned crow? Limited choice of dishes, and what's more, none of them were available when you ordered. No bread or water on the table. ...Staff nowhere to be found when you wanted to pay the bill, which was already quite high considering the quality of the food... In short, we were very disappointed.

04/01/2026: We came to eat on January 1st, a party of five...by all accounts, the welcome was warm. The meal was excellent, both in quality and quantity...we will certainly return.

02/02/2026: The service was impeccable, the dishes beautifully presented, flavorful, and expertly prepared. We opted for the scallop menu and had a wonderful time.

12/01/2026: We stayed at this hotel, but we were extremely disappointed. The staff wasn't very welcoming, the room and terrace were dirty, and the toilet door was so clunky you practically needed Acrobat Magic to close it. You had to leave the water running for fifteen minutes to get hot water. I do not recommend it.
