15/07/2026: Simple but effective. A family atmosphere, just what we're looking for. The food is simple, certainly, but well-prepared. Sometimes you don't need to look any further. We were able to watch the match. Yousef and his wife will give you a proper welcome. Thank you for this break; we really needed it.

21/03/2026: A coffee after a hike, undoubtedly the best latte I've had in a long time: a large cup with a beautiful froth, and a very reasonable price. A very friendly manager and a lovely post-hunt atmosphere, typical of the local villages. A pleasant moment!

15/07/2026: Ample parking space, affordable prices, delicious food, separate men's, women's and children's restrooms, dishwashing area, toilet, water for washing food, and even water provided at each parking spot.

29/06/2026: We arrived late at the campsite too late to cook so we tried the restaurant. The menu du jour was really good value: terrine, roast chicken then a huge creme brulee, all for E24. From the a la carte, the andouillete was a real treat. I come from England and I can’t find chitterlings at home.

19/07/2026: A quick ice cream break in the afternoon, then dinner in the evening. Very pleasant and quick service. A nice menu and very reasonable prices. Something for everyone. Generous and tasty dishes. I recommend it!

11/07/2026: A very good bakery with excellent products and consistently high quality. The only downside is on weekends: the lack of staff is really noticeable, with an endless queue that somewhat spoils the experience. It's a shame, because the team does its best and the bakery deserves to be better organized during peak periods.

17/12/2025: The menu is appealing, the place pleasant, but... The owner is far too familiar: with the cassoulet, there'll be trouble! She greets regular customers with a: "Well, it's been a while since you've been here!" The famous cassoulet, it must have been quite old, was acidic. I thought it was because of the tomatoes... but the way it practically refused to leave my stomach at the first turn suggests it had gone off! A truly bad experience!

11/06/2026: A 3-night stay on a business trip. Warm staff, excellent cuisine, spacious and comfortable room—I highly recommend it. A special shout-out to Arnaud: so kind, so professional, a truly wonderful person. Go without hesitation. PS: The digestifs are very good 😉😉

22/04/2026: A lovely, typical hotel in the village of Chatenois. Very clean room, inexpensive. Welcoming host.

26/05/2026: It was packed by the locals, so this place caught my curiosity. The service is rather slow because they were really busy, so I recommend going there before its peak lunch time. Around 1:30PM, it was starting to slow down. I had shrimp avocado salad with fries, and they were good. Not pretentious and affordable- I recommend it!

13/03/2026: We booked for the evening, and the experience began with a ride up in a snow groomer under a magnificent starry sky—already a magical moment. Upon arrival, we received a very warm welcome with a plate of appetizers and a glass of raspberry prosecco. Then, we enjoyed an excellent raclette, followed by a homemade dessert and a small glass of génépi liqueur to finish the meal. The return trip in the snow groomer was the perfect ending to this timeless evening. Excellent evening, warm welcome, and delicious meal. I highly recommend it!

03/03/2026: Because in life you always need a goal, for me (on snowshoes) and Madonna (on foot) it's the Pegueiou and its sausage! Because after the effort comes the reward with a team that takes such good care of you. Thank you all and we'll be back on Thursday!

26/06/2026: We went here because my wife wanted a tuna steak and I'd never tried mole, a Mexican sauce. I can only say that both were absolutely delicious. The service was very friendly and efficient, and the price was reasonable. Highly recommended.

08/07/2026: Stopped in while visiting Paris and had the chaud jambon, which was fresh, hot, and delicious. The bread was excellent, and you could tell everything was made with care. The staff were friendly and welcoming, even though we don’t speak much French. A great neighborhood boulangerie that we’d gladly visit again.

30/06/2026: I don't even know where to begin. It used to be a superb neighborhood bakery; I came here every day. But for the past few months, it's been a complete disaster. The new saleswoman doesn't even say hello, and she looks bored, as if she's forced to be there. Zero friendliness. And then there are the pastries? They used to be delicious. Now they're really mediocre for the price. The pain au chocolat has lost its flavor, and the brioche... well, let's not even go there. What a shame!

30/06/2026: The restaurant manager is absolutely lovely and very welcoming. It was our first time there, and he greeted us as if we were regulars, so it definitely won't be the last time we recommend it. The portions are very generous, and we had a wonderful meal! I highly recommend eating at Fleur du Désert!

29/06/2026: I ordered the royal couscous. It was bland, the chicken was undercooked and pink inside, and the price was too high for what it was. The broth was tasteless.
