08/12/2024: Was in Clermont-Ferrand for Business. Sampled the local cuisine and this was the absolute best meal I had the entire trip. Phenomenal flavors, with excellent wine and great company made for an absolutely amazing experience. Had visited 5 years ago, and was glad I returned.

21/10/2024: Pleasant setting but slow service, very slow... Pretty plates but very average taste qualities: the bottle without the intoxication. Perhaps too much time plating to the detriment of time spent cooking?

16/11/2024: bonjour, nous sommes allée mangé dans ce restaurant dimanche a midi en famille. point +: 1 seul, il nous ont accepté alors que le restaurant était plein. points-: je suis a aperçu en relisant ma note que des suppléments avaient été rajoutés. Apres un appel, ils se sont justifier que les menus du we et jours fériés sont les même que la semaine avec un suppléments de 3€. Pas très clairs et surtout inscrits soit disant sur l'ardoise. l'entrée, un bouché a la reine a peine chaud, mais surtout un air industriel acheté tout prêt. les poissons choisis sur le menu étaient manquant (dorade) remplacés par une d'arme de saumons. les cuissons du plat (poisson, viande et andouillette) pas assez cuit. et pour finir, des dessert proposes au menu, mais pour certain en sup. pour finir, quand on a une cuisine ouverte, il faudrait faire plus attention comment on parle à ces employés car nous avons été mal pour le commis, car le patron ou responsable lui gueulait dessus. attention a votre note avant de payer!!!

30/10/2024: Une réservation faite sur leur site internet 15 jour avant la programmation d’un déjeuner de famille, confirmée ensuite par téléphone avant d’apprendre au dernier moment qu’il n’y a plus de place. La qualité de la cuisine est primordiale mais celle de l’accueil et de la relation avec la clientèle tout autant. Les attentes des clients ont considérablement évolué ces dernières années et on attend mieux que ça. Bref, le avis tranchés sur Trip et ailleurs ne font que confirmer cela.

19/09/2024: Great restaurant with a very warm welcome. Accepts dogs which is becoming rare these days thanks to them. For the food excellent and very plentiful. If we go through there again we will come back. Recommended to everyone

05/09/2024: We can see it as a tavern, most importantly, the location on the edge of the pond. We came with colleagues to eat for lunch, it wasn't bad overall. For me the ravioli were a little too salty, perhaps the addition of very thin slices of raw ham and the béchamel too liquid, for the rest good beer and not bad crème brûlée.

20/09/2024: Surprised, for an all-you-can-eat buffet offering seafood, to have such good freshness. The quality is there, which is also very surprising for a very reasonable price. Very clean, and very nice decor.

26/08/2024: Good impression when entering and very bad when leaving. We ordered two duck breasts a la carte and a children's menu. We were served quite quickly and the children's menu was ok, these are the only positive points. The two breasts ordered rare, arrived very cooked and had a really very particular taste, spicy, inedible! We ate the fries and the salad which really weren't that great either... We then tried to ask for the bill to say a few words to the waiter, pay and leave, a very complicated thing because he was all alone to manage a shielded restaurant (indoors and terrace), there were clearly too many people for just one waiter who for once was voluntary but overwhelmed... After a long wait, I got up to intercept the waiter who was obviously avoiding the tables already served because he didn't have time to charge and I asked him for the bill. It still took a little while to arrive but eventually arrived. We pay and we talk to him about the inedible duck breasts, he replies that it's surprising because they work with fresh products, we want to believe him, my breasts, we can eat others, some of which were not maybe not great but no one has ever had that taste to the point of being inedible! On the way out, we went to see the boss at the bar to also inform him because in the end he was the one in charge, so there, he showed total nonchalance and indifference, he seemed absolutely not concerned by what was happening in his restaurant... We ended up at McDonald's and in comparison we found it good, that's to say the level of this meal!!

07/12/2024: Everything is perfect! The bistro atmosphere, the welcome, the service and above all the quality of the meal! Great value for money. We loved it and we will come back 🙂

16/12/2024: For 15 euros I got three poor frozen green beans and three rounds of chicken ballottine, no dessert and no drinks, two slices of bread. I left there a little disappointed and above all I was hungry. I ended up buying myself a sandwich. It's a shame because I work nearby and I could have come more often.

14/12/2024: Go to a bar to have a pint for 9 euros. The waitress was not pleasant....

11/07/2025: We stayed one night in a family room (double bed and sofa bed). The bedding was very good, the size of the room and bathroom was a little small but sufficient. We really appreciated the self-service water and fruit juice and the little touch of the chocolate bar in the room, which was delicious. The breakfast was varied and very good, with crepes and pancakes, pies, scrambled eggs and sausage, cheeses.... Lots of activities available, including a beautiful outdoor pool with parasols and straw hats available. Tennis court, playground and terrace for aperitifs. We wanted to have dinner on site but unfortunately we didn't get back in time before closing time. Friendly and helpful hotel staff.

10/07/2025: A team dedicated to serving its customers, all in a pleasant and relaxed setting. We had a wonderful time at the Novotel Demeure de Campagne for a family meal. Lovely food, very well-prepared meals, and attentive service. The children had access to the activity/games room, which allowed us to have a great time together as adults. I truly recommend this establishment and its restaurant. Thank you to the team.
