Savor every step of the meal: the amuse-bouches, the appetizers, the olive bread with its semi-salted butter, the cheese trolley with its almost creaking little wheels, and the main courses, starters, and desserts. You'll fall asleep sitting up, but you'll fall asleep with a smile. Big shout-out to the table under the giant chandelier. The table to be at. You feel like the King of England, but better because it's in France. One day I went in with a migraine and left cured—no exaggeration, I promise. Unforgettable moments.

13/06/2026: I was in the antique-style room. (There are several rooms in different styles.) The service was top-notch. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. I was satisfied. Of course, this kind of dinner isn't suitable for every day, but for a special occasion it was wonderful.

The staff members were both competent and friendly, which completely relaxed the atmosphere around the table. Overall, everything went extremely smoothly, making for a very pleasant evening.

27/07/2026: We celebrated my son and daughter-in-law's civil wedding on a Saturday evening. There were 18 of us, and we dined on the terrace. Everything was perfect: the menus, the atmosphere, the service. The staff were incredibly attentive and made this a truly memorable meal for the bride and groom and their guests. The manager guided us from the initial contact, right through to choosing the dessert, including the wedding cake ordered from the Grégoire Motte bakery (a partner establishment), which was a real treat. It's also worth noting the excellent value for money, from the aperitif to the coffee, drinks included—unbeatable in Lille. A huge thank you again!

25/07/2026: In a lovely setting, the menu looked promising. A printed menu would have been nice. The QR code is less user-friendly, especially in a place where you could easily do without a screen! The service was friendly. The aperitif and dessert were fine. But the Cambodian tartare was a huge disappointment: the meat was very fatty, better suited to a cooked Bolognese sauce, and the side dish didn't help to enhance the flavor. A poor choice...what a shame!

01/01/2026: An absolutely magnificent shop, with a very warm welcome. The Christmas decorations, done with exquisite taste, were a feast for the eyes and created an almost magical atmosphere. We received excellent advice and were able to enjoy some lonzo, coppa, and exceptional fig jam at home: high-quality products, a real treat. And to top it all off, an unexpected little bonus: a piano playing Christmas music, which made the moment even more special. A big thank you for this wonderful experience; it's a place I highly recommend.

01/06/2026: ⭐ Overall rating: 7.5/10 A great find! This African restaurant in Lyon was a wonderful discovery. I had a lovely time and, most importantly, a delicious meal. The portions were generous, flavorful, and carefully prepared. Special mention goes to the chicken: perfectly cooked, tender, juicy, and, most importantly, not dry, which is often a weak point in this type of dish. The side dishes were also excellent, with well-balanced flavors. A minor drawback was the sweet potato fries, which were unavailable during my visit. Apparently, they had been out of stock for several days. This is a bit of a shame, as they are often a popular side dish, and sweet potatoes are generally quite easy to find. As for the ambiance, the terrace is perfect for enjoying the nice weather, which is very pleasant. However, it has limited seating and opens directly onto the street. Inside, the space is adequate, but it was quite warm during my visit, with noticeable cooking smells. Air conditioning or better ventilation would significantly improve customer comfort. The service also deserves a mention. The woman single-handedly manages the kitchen, reception, service, and payments. Despite this heavy workload, she remains cheerful and does her best to satisfy customers. This can sometimes lead to a slight wait, but it's understandable. My ratings: * Reception: 8/10 * Food: 8/10 * Value for money: 8/10 * Cleanliness: 7/10 * Atmosphere and comfort: 7/10 In short, this is a place worth discovering for the quality of its cuisine and its authentic flavors. 20/05/2026: I had the set menu (starter and main course) for €12.90. The atmosphere was pleasant, the starter wasn't amazing, but the main course was absolutely delicious and generously portioned. I recommend it for a quick stop!

13/07/2026: Dinner on my first day in Nice ✨ I'd been wanting to try this place since before my trip, so I made a reservation on the day and went alone. Because I had a reservation, I was seated immediately. After being seated, they brought the menu right away, and the service from ordering to food delivery was very quick and smooth, which was great! Although they only speak Japanese, they were able to communicate in simple English, so I was able to order ✨ For the appetizer, I had tomatoes and my favorite bladder cheese, along with bread. For the main course, I had clam linguine. The pasta, in particular, had a wonderfully chewy texture; it was the first time I'd ever had such delicious pasta ✨ However, the portions were very large for me, even the appetizer, and I was full before I even finished it... Therefore, I asked them to reduce the pasta portion to half. I think even half would be a full serving for a Japanese person 🥹 I really wanted to eat everything, but due to fatigue from the long flight and feeling unwell, I had no choice but to give up. I feel very sorry for the chef and waiter. I apologize. Despite everything, they greeted us with smiles and provided wonderful service. Thank you to the lovely young men! Next time, I'll make sure I'm feeling well and come with at least two people! I'd also like to try other items on the menu! 🍴
