19/11/2025: Simple but tasty food at fair prices. Friendly service and, most importantly, still open in November while other restaurants have already closed. Recommended for a lunch stop.

02/11/2025: After hiking the Sentier des Fenestretes (Cirque d'Infernet), the croque-madame followed by a crêpe for dessert was excellent. Eating under the plane tree was also very pleasant.

27/01/2026: On January 17, 2026, we celebrated my father's 70th birthday at this restaurant, and there were about twenty of us. The owner gave us a very warm welcome, the food was excellent and absolutely delicious, and what can I say about the service? It was simply top-notch, even though the manager was serving alone; he was everywhere, hats off to him! We wanted for nothing, and he was always attentive. And what about the karaoke throughout the meal? It was very enjoyable, and the disco at the end of the evening was fantastic. So, thank you again, sir, for this warm welcome and everything else.

01/02/2026: I came to eat with a friend. I don't usually leave reviews, but I feel compelled to this time. I ordered a duck breast that was literally inedible. The manager was incredibly unpleasant, and the bill was outrageous. I'm stunned and completely surprised to see the rating (4.2/5). It reeks of fake reviews. In short, you'll never see me again, and don't worry about the publicity I'll be spreading. (On top of that, he took my card details and charged me just under €10 the next day.) A real disgrace. Never again. I gave it one star because you can't give zero. Run away!

31/01/2026: I came to visit a friend in Mazamet, and inspired by the decor, we decided to eat at this restaurant. It was one of the worst experiences of my life. The waitress, although friendly, couldn't tell us if the duck confit was from a supermarket or homemade. The duck breast "with porcini mushrooms" was blue and inedible. We left our two full plates without any apology, no discount, not even a word. The bill was taken very coldly, barely a "goodbye" from the manager. Imagine my surprise when I discovered today (two days later) that this crook had taken the liberty of making a second payment on my card the day after my visit, for €7, without my consent, of course. I will naturally be filing a complaint against the establishment. Avoid at all costs!

22/11/2025: Very disappointed. We were served an hour after our arrival, and the oysters weren't fresh; they must have been left too long in the kitchen heat after being opened! The burgers were completely cold, and the fries were overcooked! There weren't many of us in the restaurant, only 15 people, but the wait to be served was incredibly long. We saw that the young apprentice was managing the dining room alone, and the problem was clearly in the kitchen—they weren't keeping up!

16/11/2025: What happened? Where are the gourmet menus, where are the petits fours, where did the owner go behind the counter? He's now in the kitchen, leaving the young man (an apprentice?) to fend for himself in the dining room. It's been a while since we last visited. This restaurant is no longer a gourmet establishment. A platter of Iberian charcuterie where only the chorizo ​​is actually Iberian. Homemade fries that tasted like cardboard because they were overcooked (see photo), we had to send them back for more. The waiter offered semi-salted butter, but since they probably didn't have any, instead of admitting it, he used unsalted butter with a little salt on top. Personally, I'd never seen that before, but why not? I don't understand what happened to what used to be a very good restaurant. We knew this restaurant when it was packed on Sunday lunchtimes, but this Sunday lunchtime, only three tables of two were occupied. Now we understand why. What a disappointment! I'm not saying goodbye, I'm saying farewell.

17/08/2025: I participated in this cruise including the meal on 08/17/2024. A little reluctant at first, Ludo, boat captain, knew how to put us at ease immediately with his humor and his low taste... being the only Breton that day, I was entitled to a little chauvinism from him throughout the cruise and it was very funny 😜 the meal was very good but a little more garnish for the dish and I would give 5 stars. The whole team that accompanied the captain was very friendly and attentive to us. The first part of the cruise, the captain told us the stories of the banks of the lake, the fauna, the flora, all with a touch of humor! I highly recommend it and I will come back with BRETONS!

23/09/2024: Trouvé par hasard sur Tripadvisor, grande surprise, bien placé dans le quartier de châtelet et du centre Georges Pompidou, le charme de la décoration ancienne à l’intérieur du restaurant se marie parfaitement avec le quartier animé, la nourriture est délicieuse et nous avons eu le plaisir d’être servi par un serveur exceptionnel nommé Jean Pascal il se reconnaîtra il est à l’écoute de vos demandes, vous apporte des petites anecdotes et des conseils sont très appréciable il connaît bien sa carte Allez-y !!!!!!!

23/09/2024: A traditional French bistrot serving outstandingly good food. We happened upon it by pure chance, and it was a real act of serendipity. A genuinely warm welcome by the waiter, with an extremely sweet smile, and an almost musical delivery of French (he did not bat an eyelid about our limited knowledge of French). He not only made sure we were seated comfortably, but gave us some good and useful advice about the menu. I followed his advice, and I certainly did not regret my choice of both entree and plat. Both were well-cooked, plated and tasted really divine. We very highly recommend this bistrot. The bill was very reasonable, especially considering that this was Paris, and we were so pleased with our experience. At the end, I made it a point to ask the waiter for his name, because I was so favorably impressed by his friendly service. Bravo et merci, M. Jean Pascale! Vous etait tres gentil! We really appreciated the food and your friendly advice.

30/12/2025: We tried the Anglet shop and were quite disappointed. The staff were very friendly and smiling, and the shop itself was attractively presented, which made us want to go in. Unfortunately, the products didn't live up to our expectations. We bought some white pudding, thinking it was a safe bet: a huge disappointment. It had a very watery texture, was bland, with almost no seasoning and little flavor, which was a real shame. The pâté en croûte was okay, but without any distinctive flavor or noticeable seasoning, even though we don't usually eat savory food. We also wanted to buy a Basque cake: the price displayed was €4.80, but we were then told it was actually €48 per kilo, which made us decide against it. In the end, the MOF (Meilleur Ouvrier de France) title had attracted us, but for €30 spent (5 white puddings and a slice of pâté en croûte), the value for money wasn't convincing. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.

08/01/2026: Honestly, don't judge a book by its cover. Perfect food. Warm service. Excellent value for money. I highly recommend it. I had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed my meal.

24/01/2026: A truly awful experience! Grilled ham and mashed potatoes! Whole potatoes on the plate with a sour taste! The ham was horribly tough! Dessert: roasted pineapple...cold, smothered in cold melted chocolate! I do not recommend it.

18/01/2026: 🎁✨️ A very nice Bouillon, the interior decor is magnificent. A minor point about the menu (flashed yellow: white would look much nicer, like the exterior ;) ). 🍽 A lovely menu with many choices and the option to add extra sides. It would be great to have traditional stews like Blanquette or Bourguignon! As for the food, we were disappointed with our choices. The soup was poorly blended and lacked flavor. The goat cheese salad was far too salty. The cheese was also cold. 😇 The welcome was very pleasant and friendly. Quick service and reasonable prices! In short, a great concept that just needs some tweaking in the recipes!
