25/01/2026: It's a shame the dish served didn't match the order! I ordered a whole sea bass with salt and pepper, 600g minimum, as per the menu. Instead, I was brought six fried fritters, so not really a "whole" fish, and charged the same price without being offered an alternative. It would have been better to indicate if an item was missing, especially since my friends' dishes, which matched their orders, seemed good.

11/03/2026: We had a fantastic time at Le Val d’Arly restaurant! We came with friends to share a fondue and had a wonderful evening. The welcome was warm and friendly, and the atmosphere was convivial. The restaurant operates by reservation only, which allows for pleasant and relaxed service. The setting is cozy and typically mountain-style; you immediately feel at home. The fondue was truly delicious, well-balanced, and perfect for sharing with friends. We also took the time to chat with the owner at the end of our meal, a very pleasant moment that added to the authentic feel of the experience. A great place that I highly recommend if you're ever in the area.

27/05/2026: I had an incredible mother-daughter weekend at this hotel. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and the food was exquisite, especially the breakfast, which was a real feast. The staff were also very welcoming. A perfect stay for a moment of connection, relaxation, and delicious food. I recommend it 100%! Sandra Jouin, room 107 ☺️

04/04/2026: The welcome and service were excellent, with a smile; it was very pleasant, and the food was good. A little touch of decorative flair with the dishes would have been perfect. What I really appreciate is that the menu isn't always the same, varying from day to day or week to week. I'd definitely go back, especially with the terrace.

08/12/2025: Excellent bakery! I go there every weekend morning for my pastry and I'm never disappointed. I also wanted to thank the saleswoman who's been serving me lately, a young woman with dark hair. She's always kind, smiling, and quick. It's really lovely to be welcomed like that. 06/12/2025: The bakery saleswoman last night was lovely and smiling as usual, very helpful, and didn't hesitate to change the bread according to my preference without complaining...etc. Thank you to her. Her colleague, whom I'd never seen before and who clearly speaks very little French, was rather unpleasant and did whatever she wanted (not just with my order), cutting bread when she wasn't asked, giving me a half loaf instead of a whole one... As a result, the service was slowed down, so this needs to be addressed. The bread is still excellent.

29/05/2026: I have a fibroid. Every woman who has experienced this knows how difficult it is. The manager of this hotel singled me out because I had the misfortune of having a heavy period the day before and kicked me out of the hotel. A woman. Therefore, I do not recommend this hotel to menstruating women. A disgrace.

29/05/2026: We visited Hotel Lons for two nights as part of a visit to the cave of Niaux and Foix castle. The staff, especially Mr Chaubert, were very kind in assisting to reserve a taxi and make dinner reservations. The hotel is very well-located walking distance from the train station and is in an area with many restaurants, shops, and attractions that are within walking distance as well. The rooms are comfortable and pretty. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious, and the patio overlooking the river is a peaceful place to enjoy coffee or drinks. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Hotel Lons and hope to make a return visit next summer to see the sights that we missed this time.

15/04/2026: We had a wonderful time at Nivernic last Sunday. The meal was delicious; all our plates, from appetizer to dessert, were returned empty to the kitchen (we were 7 adults and 3 children). The welcome was warm, the service impeccable, and the view magnificent. We will definitely be back! 🥰
