18/04/2026: A bit long, but frankly nice, welcoming, with traditional, tasty and well-served Northern cuisine, and an unobstructed view of the pretty Scheldt canal.

07/07/2026: We celebrated our wedding at this lovely venue: a secular outdoor ceremony, drinks on the terrace, and a meal in the beautiful hall! Everything was perfect! Céline and her team are incredibly attentive and responsive, ensuring you make the most of your wonderful day. It's also a great place to go during the week for a delicious daily special at reasonable prices. I highly recommend it!

23/04/2026: A great restaurant on paper, and the food is also very good. The only downside, and it's a significant one, is the impossibility of knowing when the restaurant is actually open or not. It depends on the owner's mood! This could be understandable, but arriving with a reservation only to find the doors closed without any prior notice is beyond unacceptable. It's a shame because the owner is very friendly, but there are definitely things that need to be reviewed in their operations. I used to come occasionally, but I won't be going back.

12/07/2026: This evening we were able to fully enjoy a beautiful view from the terrace, while very tasty and beautifully presented food was served to us. The ice cream for dessert was also an absolute highlight to finish off with. All this at a very reasonable price. So it was fantastic, for which we thank you.

31/05/2026: Unique setting. A warm welcome, friendly staff; the dishes were decent (but nothing special); what a shame to offer such poor quality bread to accompany the meals. The previous time (in March), the dishes were more sophisticated and the flavors better, especially the desserts. Please pay more attention to the cleanliness of the bar's dishes. We might return, but not right away!

14/07/2026: A promising start! After a warm welcome, the service was quite quick. A few points to address regarding the tapas: The charcuterie was marked by the coldness of the refrigerator, and the breaded items needed a second cooking... But overall, the flavors were good. The downside was the one-hour wait to pay... admittedly a computer glitch, but at no point did the owner bother to get up from his chair and offer a complimentary drink.

21/07/2026: Beneath his nonchalant exterior, the owner, Sébastien, is a perverted macho who boasts about pinching customers whenever he feels like it (I heard him shouting at the top of his lungs, "Move over or I'll pinch your bottom!"). And right during our lunch with family and friends, "someone" (neither I nor my daughter saw who) pinched my 7-year-old daughter on the waist, just for fun! Of course, I confronted him, and he denied it, but I'm still hesitant to file a complaint because this behavior is unacceptable!

28/03/2026: Great food. Everything was delicious: espadon tataki, croquettes, pig cheeks and burger. I love the sharing concept, so you are fine stealing food from the plates of others :) food disappeared too fast to take pictures :) Good wines too!

25/03/2026: La Bouitte has been a huge favorite of ours during our getaways over the past few years. La Bouitte embodies the art of living, of hospitality, of being fully present in the moment. Everything is perfect: the house is so warm and tastefully designed, the staff is incredibly kind, the Meilleur family is so attentive and approachable, and the restaurant was, for us, the best we've ever experienced. The raw ingredients are so expertly prepared that they give you goosebumps, a return to the essentials on the plate—what a wonderful evening! We rarely return to hotels we've already stayed in because we love discovering new places, but we will certainly be returning to La Bouitte again and again in the coming months because we dream about it every day! 23/03/2026: I had the opportunity to dine at their restaurant. A lot of hype for very little. Uninteresting dishes. You feel ripped off. Doesn't deserve a star!!! My worst Michelin-starred experience.
