05/09/2026: A wonderful meal upon returning from a stay in Le Portel, and a truly excellent place that's well worth the detour. The staff is perfect, and a special mention goes to the owner who kindly offered to adapt the children's menus to suit their needs. The homemade meals, where everything is homemade, tantalize our taste buds and are a real treat. Thank you for this lovely, unexpected stop.

02/09/2026: We had a lunchtime experience and booked in advance. Homemade dishes, a generous lunchtime set menu, and very good value for money. The staff were very pleasant, and the place was clean and welcoming.

31/08/2026: Excellent place to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The hotel is full of charm, the staff warm and friendly, and the restaurant outstanding. Very high quality breakfast too.

28/06/2026: We had an outstanding stay at the Chateau. We were lodged at the Maison des Ecureuils and found the accommodations delightful. My wife and I had an amazing dinner at Restaurant M. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Would love to return in the future for a longer stay.

23/08/2026: It's hard to know for sure, but it seems this hotel/restaurant is permanently closed. No one answers the phone, opening days aren't listed, their website is gone, and there's no sign at the entrance indicating whether they're closed for their annual holiday or not.

01/10/2026: Welcomed by the host. We were assigned a table. We thoroughly enjoyed the flavorful dishes at this restaurant. The host was very friendly and helpful if French isn't good.

13/09/2026: I've been to Charleston several times. The cod is delicious and the decor is really beautiful.

14/11/2025: My husband and I weren't lucky enough to stay at the hotel as it was fully booked (you can understand why), however we made a point to go for dinner. Even with all the positive reviews, it was beyond what I could have hoped for! The hotel, grounds, and restaurant are pure magic. We received the warmest welcome upon our arrival, and had the opportunity to explore their garden with a glass of wine in hand. The food was fantastic and I hope to return soon for the full experience as a guest!

21/10/2025: We were there for dinner. The restaurant's setting was beautiful and the interior was romantic. We chose the three-course menu of the day: an interesting interpretation of southern French cuisine. The price, however, was high.

29/12/2025: A pleasant, convivial spot where it's lovely to relax overlooking Place Morgan, enjoying a delightful little café that's sunny in winter and shaded in summer. The staff and owner take excellent care of their customers, making this an ideal place for drinks with friends. Thank you for your hospitality!

26/08/2026: Absolutely top-notch for foodies! 😍😍 The staff is competent and friendly, with a wide selection of hot and cold drinks, a variety of flavors (hazelnut, chocolate, caramel, white chocolate 😍...), and very tempting cakes and pastries. ❤️😋😋 I highly recommend it!!!

13/10/2026: A warm welcome, a very pleasant setting, very friendly staff, a wide selection of pizzas, and a menu that makes you want to try everything 😋 Impeccable service with a lovely smile to boot, and great responsiveness in the kitchen—it's so nice not to have to wait an hour between courses!! We had a wonderful time as a family, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and we will definitely be back 🥰 We recommend it 200%! 👍

03/08/2026: Frankly, I'm from the area and was just visiting family. I was very disappointed with this establishment. It was unbearably hot. I went to the bar and casually asked for a lemonade. Admittedly, I was served a lukewarm lemonade, which wasn't pleasant at all. Anyway, I moved on. I came back an hour later with my children and nephews for ice cream. I waited a long time to finally be served. The man finally arrived, and I told him I needed several ice creams. He asked me how I would pay, without even registering my order. I replied by credit card, and he said, "I'll keep you waiting, the card machine isn't working properly." Meanwhile, I saw many customers being served at the bar. I also saw their payments going through. One of the waitresses was serving ice cream, and I asked why I wasn't being served. I was told to wait again. After 20 minutes, I told the children, "Come on, let's go!" They didn't want to serve us. I've been in the business for 27 years, and I I've never seen anything like it, the way we were approached and treated. It was a blessing in disguise, because just a few steps away was the night market, a truck selling delicious homemade ice cream at much lower prices. But in any case, they'll never see us again. There were 11 of us, and they must have been annoyed to have to serve us.
