07/12/2025: We always have wonderful experiences dining here. Today was a delightful discovery: a family brunch at this restaurant, which we'd previously only frequented for meals on market days. As always, the quality, quantity, and warm welcome were all excellent.

The food is fresh.
09/07/2026: We had a delicious salad served by a very friendly owner in lovely air conditioned surroundings. We arrived thirsty after climbing up to le fort de Bregille and the owner gladly brought out 4 bottles of water (free of charge) as soon as we finished one. He was happy to explain all the ingredients in simple French and was very friendly coping well with our limited French.

15/04/2026: Huge place with so many products to choose from. Great bakery and plenty of fresh bread and cakes. Can get busy at the checkouts but that's to be expected. Definitely worth a visit if you want to stock up on a wide range of goods.
12/04/2026: There's no cashier at the gas station and no way to get help if you want to pay in cash; plus, the diesel is poor quality.

18/04/2026: First time at this restaurant and the staff gave me a very warm welcome. There's a real family atmosphere, which I absolutely love. Plus, the setting with the waterfall is picture-perfect and truly magnificent.
The service was top-notch; we were served quickly, and the food was excellent. The quality of the dishes and ingredients was truly outstanding.
I highly recommend it. 😉

21/06/2026: "No cards before €15." You prefer cash for everything under the table (don't even mention bank fees, they'll be laughable in 2026), good for you. But €15 is unreasonable, especially when you don't give prior notice. Or, here's a little business tip: accept cryptocurrency transfers, bartering, or even payment in kind; the taxman won't track it. In any case, at "Moderne," we're still stuck with payment methods from the last century.
