21/05/2026: We stayed at this hotel and booked three rooms. Upon arrival, we were given a Classic room that was extremely small. As a couple, it was barely functional — there was almost no space to move, and the only storage was a very tiny safe. I literally didn’t know where to put our belongings. We politely requested a larger room and they eventually upgraded us, which was appreciated. However, what really surprised and disappointed us was the deposit policy. They took a deposit for the three rooms and told us it was for any spa services or restaurant orders. At check-out, they did not return the deposit immediately. Instead, the receptionist had to go and personally inspect all three rooms before releasing it. The rooms had absolutely nothing valuable — no mini-bar, no valuables, not even bathrobes worth worrying about. It felt as though the hotel treats its guests as potential thieves, which created a very uncomfortable and distrustful atmosphere. If you are a couple, I strongly advise against booking the regular Classic rooms as they are too small and impractical. Regarding the deposit process, it needs serious improvement. The hotel’s location is excellent and very convenient. The breakfast has a nice French touch with some distinctive items, though the variety was quite limited. The waitresses in the restaurant were very friendly, understanding, and attentive, which was a highlight. we would like to thank the hotel management for their understanding, quick responses, and assistance with any questions we had.

13/05/2026: A very nice hotel, perfectly located in the pedestrian zone of Aix. The rooms are high quality and the staff are lovely. The breakfast was also excellent. I highly recommend it.

06/06/2026: Great concept! I had the opportunity to celebrate my parents' birthday there. It was fantastic!!

03/06/2026: I rediscovered the farm. I don't have much to say. Just a shame the food wasn't great. The atmosphere wasn't any better. The waiter's face was marked, which says a lot about him, with a travel accent. 🫪 It's just a shame, it used to be a very warm and friendly place. Change careers, gentlemen. 😕

14/06/2026: The monkfish medallion with honey-glazed chanterelles is a true delight. The desserts are also very good. The dishes are beautifully presented on the plate.

14/06/2026: As they say, '' worth the detour', superb shaded terrace, but it's the flavors that will make us come back... The menu is short and for good reason, everything is seasonal or almost.

11/11/2025: Delicious! Friendly and kid-friendly atmosphere. Smiling and responsive staff. The portions were HUGE and DELICIOUS, with a lot of thought put into balancing the tastes and flavors. Starters, main courses, desserts—all top-notch! Even the KIDS Fish & Chips was very good, with REAL HOMEMADE fries!!!

29/10/2025: The starter was excellent, the main course very good, but I was disappointed by the dessert... in a €40 menu, it's a shame because the service was good and friendly, but the presentation of the dessert was lacking; a pile placed in the middle of the plate. It tasted good, but there was no presentation or decoration; we're still looking for the caramel! It's still a good restaurant nonetheless.

23/06/2026: We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday at Camping Le Castelet! The campsite is situated in a beautiful location in the Ardèche, surrounded by nature and offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The campsite is clean, well-maintained, and has spacious pitches. The swimming pool and facilities are excellently cared for and provide fun for young and old. What stands out most is the friendly and helpful atmosphere. The team is always ready to assist and ensures that you feel welcome immediately. The surrounding area is also fantastic. There is plenty to see and do, from beautiful walks and canoeing to charming villages and impressive nature. For anyone looking for peace, nature, and a welcoming campsite, Le Castelet is highly recommended. We cherish fond memories of our stay and would love to return again.

04/07/2026: DISAPPOINTING! We wanted to sit inside, where the air conditioning was, because we were with our baby and it was very hot. We were refused entry, told that we had to have ordered plates. However, we had ordered two plates and a sandwich. Apparently, the problem was the sandwich… So two plates plus a sandwich are not allowed? Are sandwiches forbidden in the dining area? Frankly, we don't understand this rule at all. It's really a shame to be treated this way, especially as a family with a baby. A little common sense and consideration for customers would have been appreciated.

30/05/2026: A perfect stay in every way, the staff are really friendly, I enjoyed our conversations, the room was exactly as expected, the food was excellent, thank you to the chef and all the staff for their kindness and availability, we will definitely come back with our dog of course.

20/05/2026: The atmosphere is very rustic, authentic, and mountainous—exactly what you come looking for in this kind of place. No frills here: it's simple, friendly, and you can really feel the traditional Vosges inn vibe. Personally, I ordered the organic mountain platter and I wasn't disappointed at all! The dish was generous, delicious, and you could clearly taste the fresh, local ingredients. The service is in the same spirit: very "old-fashioned," sometimes a little noisy 😅, but that also adds to the charm of the place. It might not be the coziest or most intimate spot, but it's a warm and authentic place where you can eat very well 😊 One small regret, though: the weather unfortunately wasn't on our side today, because the terrace and the view look absolutely magnificent. It makes you want to come back when the weather's nice ☀️ Another great bonus is their little shop at the exit, perfect for picking up some local products. They have jams, aperitifs, wines, beers, and other local specialties 😊
