27/07/2026: This Sunday morning at 10 am, there were seven of us having coffee. The welcome was condescending and there was no smile. Coffee cost €2.80, and they refused credit card payments under €15. Avoid this place! Go to McDonald's instead.

04/07/2026: Thank you to Sandra and her team for creating our layer cake for our romantic and elegant wedding. She listened carefully to our wishes and tastes. We were already won over by the tasting, and our guests loved it and found the dessert delicious. The number cake for our son's 20th birthday the following day was also perfect!

28/05/2026: We had dinner at this restaurant. We were more than delighted. The menu offers excellent value for money. The ingredients are fresh and high-quality, and the food is truly delicious. The half lobster was simply succulent. And the tarte tatin flambée with Calvados was divine. The staff is very pleasant.

26/05/2026: We went to celebrate an event and chose this gourmet restaurant that offered vegetarian dishes. It's quite rare to find such a service, and we were eager to see what they would offer. Upon arrival, we were a little disappointed that the menu only offered one dish: "seasonal vegetables." No starters, except for one main course where they offered to remove the fish. We had ordered the vegetable dish; it should be good, right? No, it was just awful! It was the same dish my partner ordered, the sea bass, but they had taken the trouble to remove the fish. There were pieces of carrot, a piece of broccoli, beetroot purée, and apples. Everything was steamed, some of it overcooked. Certainly vegetarian, but not very sophisticated, neither good nor a proper dish. And expensive. Generally, a visit to a restaurant is an opportunity to treat yourself, to eat things you wouldn't prepare at home, to be impressed by the skills of the kitchen staff. I was struck by the audacity of presenting themselves as a vegetarian-friendly restaurant without making the slightest effort to substantiate this claim. I can't comment on the other dishes, but judging by the care they took in preparing the vegetables, I'll let you form your own opinion. I advise the restaurant staff to either remove the claim of being vegetarian-friendly from their website or to genuinely offer vegetarian-friendly service!

09/06/2026: The staff at the till and in the dining area were very welcoming. The meat was cooked perfectly. The children's menu was a hit with the little ones. Very friendly atmosphere.

22/06/2026: A set menu for €18.20 including a starter, main course, dessert, and a drink: unbeatable. It's simple but good. Nicely presented and generous portions. We went there four days in a row. There are several options, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The owner even offered us a small digestif on the fourth day, which is very rare. A place not to be missed.

21/04/2026: For me, by far the best traditional restaurant in the Gier Valley. The decor is fantastic, the service is wonderful, the terrace is magnificent, and don't even get me started on the food! You can tell it's prepared with passion. And in terms of value for money, I don't think you can beat it; for me, it's truly the best semi-gastronomic restaurant. I highly recommend it!

14/07/2026: We had lunch as a party of five. The welcome was good 👍 The owner came to take our order and was there... He wasn't welcoming, rather unpleasant. His explanations were brief. We were given the menu, we had chosen some, but not everything was available. No starters, only main courses. The meal was good and plentiful. The bill was a bit high! The owner should let his waiters and waitresses (who are excellent!) take care of the customers.

21/07/2026: Simple restaurant with unlimited mussels. Great service. The mussels are continuously replenished. Delicious mussels!! Amazing!!!

13/06/2026: I agree with VR's review (since we ate together). Absolutely excellent from start to finish. We had the set menu, starter-main-dessert, and it was all about taste and quality. Even the delicious dessert was a welcome change from the usual classics like chocolate fondant. Kudos to the whole team. Plus a glass of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, of course: truly excellent. It was a pleasant surprise, because when I checked Google reviews to choose a restaurant, this one wasn't exactly among the top-rated. It just goes to show you have to take reviews with a grain of salt, and it's best to trust your own judgment and form your own opinion.

18/07/2026: It's a shame it's not possible to give a zero or even a negative rating. Since the change of ownership, the place has steadily declined, whether in terms of drinks, clientele, or even the staff, not to mention the new owner, who is clearly a pretentious and dismissive little man with intolerable behavior. He's barely started out, knows nothing about the industry, and is heading straight for disaster. I've decided to stop going there.

15/06/2026: Services dont give a shit about you. Food was great from past experience but now very bad. We ordered 2 steaks they were like shewing gum, poke without sauce nor taste. I would recommend only for drinks because the street is nice.

07/06/2026: This is not really worthy to try, quality is not that good and price is crazy expensive. If there is not maintenance or working on the street the atmosphere can be good otherwise forget it
