18/08/2026: The food: The food was simply inedible. The ingredients were woefully unfresh, the seasoning was nonexistent, and the cooking was a complete disaster. You're practically guaranteed food poisoning with every bite. The service: A frosty welcome and appallingly amateurish staff. Slow, haughty, and visibly annoyed by the mere presence of customers. Hygiene: Cleanliness was appalling, from the sticky tables to the disgustingly filthy restrooms.

02/10/2026: Terrible experience. The lock on my room door did not work for two full days, so I had to sleep with the door unlocked. A completely unacceptable security issue. I also ordered a Coca-Cola and received just a glass of Coke — no bottle or can — for €3.50. When I complained, the hotel manager rudely told me to go to the supermarket and buy a 1.5L bottle for €1.50. I told her that was basically what she had done: pour me one glass from a large bottle and charge me €3.50. She was extremely rude, raised her voice at me and spoke to me very disrespectfully. By far the worst hotel experience I’ve had in France. I would not recommend this place. Horrible experience. 27/09/2026: We had dinner and spent the night at this hotel. The service was truly excellent, both at the hotel and the restaurant. We highly recommend this establishment, which is very well located in the village.

19/10/2026: Unacceptable service at Léon de Rosny 2 restaurant! Today, at 1:40 PM, we arrived at Léon de Rosny 2 restaurant with our children. Upon arrival, the receptionist tried to seat us right next to the sliding doors, which open and close every time someone passes by, even though it was only 11°C outside. I politely declined this table, as we had experienced the exact same situation at this establishment a month ago. That day, despite the much milder outside temperature, we were extremely cold during our meal. This time, I asked to be seated in the dining room, where many tables were available. But the receptionist categorically refused, claiming that the restaurant closed at 3:00 PM and that she could only offer us tables located on either side of the sliding doors. At 1:45 PM, with children and an outside temperature of 11°C, was it really unreasonable to ask for a table sheltered from drafts, especially since the restaurant was far from full? So we decided to leave without even sitting down. It's not just a matter of seating, but of common sense, hospitality, and consideration for customers. When you work in the restaurant industry, customer comfort should be a priority, not a burden! A particularly disappointing experience, especially since it wasn't the first time.

20/09/2026: Dish of the day, mussels and fries, dessert and coffee for a very reasonable price, and above all, the excellent humor and wit of the owner make all the difference... I'll be back on my next trip... Hervé

14/09/2026: What a pleasure to have lunch here this Sunday! A wonderful welcome from a very friendly person. The set menu was excellent. Only local products were used, and their origin was clearly explained to us. In short, nothing negative to say. We'll be back as soon as possible.

20/09/2026: I'm currently stuck in the restaurant. The owner locked me in the back room because I said the food wasn't cooked properly. Please help me get out! (They don't serve halal food. When I asked for a halal steak, she told me if I wasn't happy, to go to the kebab shop next door. Disrespectful behavior.)

12/09/2026: Excellent skate with capers and a perfectly matched chocolate mousse/cream. Very pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommended.

05/06/2026: I recently dined at Château de Beaulieu, eager to discover the restaurant's atmosphere, its cuisine, and to enjoy the setting, which is indeed very pleasant. The dishes were sophisticated and beautifully presented, with a real focus on flavor combinations. However, I felt the seasoning sometimes lacked character. I would have appreciated slightly bolder, more vibrant flavors to better showcase the dishes. My main regret, however, concerns the ordering experience. Being a foodie and wanting to explore more of the menu, I asked to order two courses, which was refused. This made me uncomfortable and unfortunately impacted the rest of my meal. My intention wasn't to waste food, but simply to fully enjoy the gastronomic experience offered. So, it's an establishment with a beautiful setting and refined cuisine, but this restriction regarding ordering somewhat marred my experience.

19/04/2026: Excellent restaurant, professional service, they left us in peace and gave us plenty of time. The area is magnificent. The view truly lives up to its name. A very pleasant experience. Excellent meal. I highly recommend it.

17/04/2026: Pleasant location on the terrace. However, the value for money is not up to par for lunch. No daily menu, and the price is quite high for what you get on your plate (small portions and rather basic).

11/07/2026: Unpleasant welcome. We were turned away at 8:30 pm despite having called ahead, unacceptable. Many restaurant owners complain about the lack of service in this country! In the end, we were much better off at Le Carrousel in Quérénaing…

21/09/2026: The service was a disaster 😱😡🤯 Aggressive, shouting service, no time to look at the display and choose. A customer shouldn't be yelled at and treated like that. This is my third time here, and it's the same thing every lunchtime. It's far too small for the number of customers. Separating the queues like in other Angers stores or changing the staff wouldn't be a bad idea. Avoid at all costs
