10/10/2026: On Sunday, September 27, 2026, around 3:00 PM, I was leaving the flea market to have a coffee at the nearby bar. I was confronted by a man who aggressively and rudely demanded directions to the restrooms, which was difficult for me as I didn't know the area. At one point, the owner bravely intervened to stop this man who clearly didn't understand the basic rules of civility in such situations. I thank you very much, Madam, for your Cambodian heritage, which you demonstrated with extraordinary empathy towards your customer, in calming this vile individual and getting him to leave the establishment, despite a torrent of insults. I will always remember your angelic face as a beautiful person. Next weekend, I will likely attend the "Traffic Jams of Nemours" demonstration. I will be sure to pay you a visit and commend your bravery once again. 06/10/2026: I was able to find what I was looking for. The staff I encountered were helpful and friendly. The store has started decorating for Christmas (a bit too early) – like many stores, this shouldn't start before November – it doesn't make any sense anymore. The store is open to the public.

05/10/2026: The price was too high for a small room where the bathroom wasn't separated, and there's hardly a smaller toilet room anywhere else. Furthermore, the cleanliness left something to be desired.

28/08/2026: We stayed there for a motorcycle trip. The service and breakfast were excellent. The rooms were fine and always clean. Unfortunately, the restaurant wasn't open every day, but there were alternatives in town.

05/09/2026: A very bad experience. The tall, blond-haired waiter is simply unprofessional. The service is deplorable. Every time I order a coffee, I have to wait forever while he chats instead of serving customers. Today, I waited 10 minutes standing up, without even being served, and then he went to the till. It's unacceptable. There's practically no service: you have to fend for yourself and get what you need yourself. The cups are very often dirty, which is particularly worrying in terms of hygiene. 30/07/2026: Access to the bar is really difficult; the signage is poor. The welcome, from both the servers and the manager, was unpleasant—a cold and rushed reception. We went there in the morning, and it was a mistake: the service was subpar, and we felt like we were bothering them. I won't be going back.

17/10/2026: Great surprise with the BOWL, comfort food at its best! Great friendly staff as well.

13/10/2026: Have some water ready, or you'll choke! This "confit" chicken burger is anything but confit. It's dry, with very little filling, and tastes more like uninteresting shredded chicken than actual confit chicken. It's not that hard to make a decent burger without having to take a gulp of water with every bite. In short, a real feat of dehydration.

11/10/2026: It had been a long time since I'd been to Flunch; the atmosphere is still the same, the staff are very pleasant and efficient.

04/10/2026: 20 minutes flat for two sugar crepes, which were also tasteless, as thin as cigarette paper, and made with icing sugar instead of real granulated sugar. Avoid at all costs.

05/09/2026: Nice spot for the view, but the food is awful—frozen or day-old, tasteless, and undercooked. Avoid it. Extremely expensive for the quality. After pointing out to the waiter that the dish wasn't cooked, there was no discount or apology to compensate for the terrible lunch experience. Stay away.

07/09/2026: Nutella and chantilly cream waffle was delicious but hard to eat when served on a small cardboard square - service was average. Unsmiling staff - maybe they were tired of the tourists? Would return for another waffle anytime. It was amazing.

05/09/2026: I had a terrible experience at your establishment. The savory sandwich is not recommended; it was simply awful. There was very little seating, and the hygiene needs serious improvement! €11 for the sandwich plus a drink, etc. It cost me €40 (very expensive for what it was). Clearly the worst sandwich I've ever eaten.

26/07/2026: I'm leaving a review just like an Uber Eats delivery driver. This is the only Pep Chicken in all of Paris that has only one cook who has to handle all the Uber Eats and Deliveroo orders alone. Because of this, the orders take a long time to be ready. But the real reason I'm leaving this review is that I find it unfair and inhumane because all the other Pep Chicken locations have at least three or four cooks. I can attest to this! It doesn't make sense!

15/06/2026: The tenders are super tender and delicious, but the location is quite unusual. The wait time was rather long.

25/08/2026: What a shame that such a lovely place, ideally located at the foot of the slopes, is marred by such poor service. My husband and I stopped by simply for a snack and to enjoy the surroundings. Unfortunately, we were greeted in an extremely cold and unpleasant manner: no smiles, no friendliness, our order practically placed in front of us as if we were intruding. The waffle was served on a small plate, without cutlery, with just a napkin. The coffee was really not good either. As for the prices, we paid €11 for a coffee, a waffle with jam, and a small bottle of Cristaline water, which cost €3. Beyond the price, it was the attitude that disappointed us most. When you run an establishment in such a touristy and beautiful location as Alpe d'Huez, a minimum of smiles, politeness, and consideration for customers seems essential. I prefer not to draw any conclusions about why we were received in this way, but the contrast between this beautiful place and the attitude of the person who served us is truly regrettable. A very bad experience for us, and we will not be returning. And we certainly do not recommend it!

25/10/2026: I had booked on October 17th for October 23rd at 7:30 pm for four people... for my partner's birthday... Last night, when we arrived, the waitress had forgotten my request to eat by the fire pit. She wanted to seat us upstairs, but I told her that wasn't possible; my 77-year-old mother-in-law couldn't come up. So we decided to have a drink while waiting for a table to become available where I had requested. A little while later, we still couldn't get our table. And from then on, it was a disaster. The menu had changed; we usually ordered the excellent foie gras with morels. The foie gras was gone! We asked the waitress why it wasn't there anymore, and she told us that the previous owner had sold the business. Okay, and I noticed that the person in charge of the fire pit... He was next to us, listening to us...🤔 What a disappointment not to be able to eat that delicious foie gras... Time passed, and since no one came to take our order... And then the fiasco... began... My partner got up to go to the counter and ask if we could have an aperitif...😉 And then I saw the person at the grill follow my partner... My partner came back in tears 😭 I asked her why, what happened?? My partner told me that the person at the grill had spoken to her very rudely, in an aggressive tone... I was surprised and angry...😡 Then I saw the person at the grill come back and stand behind his refrigerated counter... So I looked at him and told him it wasn't nice to speak to my partner like that... And this gentleman replied, "I'm the BOSS!!!" In a firm tone!!! I asked him to come and tell me to my face, but he stayed hidden behind his refrigerated counter and, most importantly, didn't offer any apologies to my partner, who was still crying. He didn't give a damn. At that moment, the waitress arrived to take our order. We told her we were very, very disappointed and would only order the main course... and nothing else. 👍 She was surprised because she knew that when we came, we usually ordered appetizers. We also ordered starters, main courses, desserts, rosé wine, digestifs, and coffee... with a final bill of over €300. The bill came to over €300. Yesterday we only paid for our meal and drinks to keep costs down. The previous owner was welcoming and friendly; it's a shame he sold it because his old restaurant is closing... In conclusion, I wouldn't wish this restaurant on anyone. The owner is awful, mean, and aggressive. So, avoid this restaurant; you'll find better elsewhere...👍 I gave it one star because I can't give it zero, otherwise I would have...👍👍👍 I STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST IT 👎👎👎👎👎 ABSOLUTELY AVOID IT! 24/10/2026: My partner had booked a table for my birthday on Friday, October 23rd. I was so excited because we go every year for mine and his, and we always have a wonderful time. BUT WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT THIS TIME! My parents and I arrived at 7:30 pm, the time of our reservation, in the Brasero room. When we arrived, our reservation wasn't in the Brasero room. The waitress told us it was either upstairs or in the main room. We explained to the waitress that my 77-year-old mother couldn't climb the spiral staircase and that, in any case, the reservation was for the Brasero room. The waitress asked us to wait while she found us a table in the Brasero room. We decided to have a drink while we waited. The waitress came back to us, apologizing, because it was her fault for having written down the reservation incorrectly. We sat down at our table, and after a 10-minute wait, seeing tables arriving after us and orders already being taken, I decided to go to the bar to order drinks while we waited. The smiling waiter went to take my order, and then the cook (the one in charge of the grill) told me he only had one waitress, that she didn't have time, and that we had to wait—all in a rude, arrogant, and aggressive tone. I went back to my table with tears in my eyes, and my partner and parents asked me what was wrong. I explained, and then the waitress came over, saw me, and tried to comfort me. Meanwhile, my partner saw the grill cook next to our table (a few minutes after I came back) and told him he'd made me cry, to which he replied, "I'm the boss." So we learned that the previous owners had sold the place.... My partner told him again that I was crying, and he didn't care. So we decided to order just one dish. Whereas before, we would order appetizers, starters, main courses, desserts, digestifs, and wine. This time, we apologized to the waitress, because it wasn't her, but given the (OWNER's) attitude, we only ordered one dish and no wine, just STILL WATER. We ate, and even then, the meat wasn't great: one steak tartare, two rump steaks, one breaded Milanese cutlet with WHITE BREAD, UNDERCOOKED, and on top of that, the "cook/owner" stuck order labels directly onto the meat (see photo). 22/07/2026: The worst all-you-can-eat buffet I've ever been to. I don't understand the positive reviews. Far too expensive for the quality—€17.99 for lunch. Very sparse selection. Low-quality, frozen, tasteless food. I absolutely do not recommend it. Cold service, both in the kitchen and among the waiters. No soap in the restrooms.

20/09/2026: A lovely crêperie where we received a warm welcome. The selection of crêpes is varied. The crêpes are generously filled and delicious. This is the perfect place for a meal with friends or as a couple.
