29/04/2026: The cashier on April 29th kept huffing and puffing with every item purchased: 4 cheeses, one puff of cake, one puff of bread and galette, and another puff for the sausages... The products are very good, but you really get the feeling you're bothering them at the entrance. It's a shame.

29/07/2026: What a jerk!! I just moved to Saint-Germain, and wow, what a welcome!! Once bitten, twice shy!!! I went in intending to have lunch—I play the lottery first—but the person there was so unpleasant that I left immediately!!! There are plenty of tobacco shops and nice bistros in Saint-Germain; I'll never set foot in there again!!

26/09/2026: For over 30 years, this has been a place of conviviality, which the system wants to take away from us. For all the new residents of La Ciotat, or those just passing through, if you didn't come just for the scenery, you owe it to yourself to make the detour! This isn't a tourist trap! You'll have the chance to taste Provençal dishes, home-cooked meals (which are increasingly rare), and perhaps you'll realize that if they take it away, they'll take away a part of our very essence. 12/09/2026: We were only here for the food: the waiter was completely overwhelmed; although half the dishes were stews, there were only fries or rice. No drinks menu; Coke Zero: no; mussels: some still closed – and a strong smell of brackish water; the fries for the steak arrived almost 10 minutes after the steak itself – by which time it was only lukewarm. Very disappointing. The amount of side dishes (one bowl of fries for five main courses – the other sides were sold out) was also extremely questionable – and although they arrived well after the main courses, they were unfortunately almost cold. Very disappointing – especially considering the price. One would have expected more – even snack bars in Strasbourg offer significantly better service at a considerably lower price – a real shame.

11/09/2026: ⭐️⭐️ A very disappointing evening in terms of service Six of us came for the mussels and fries evening, including two people who didn't eat mussels and fries. Unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing, mainly due to the service and organization. First of all, we weren't offered a drinks menu. The waiter came directly to ask us what we wanted to drink, even though we hadn't had a chance to see what was available. We asked for a Coca-Cola Zero, and were told they were out. This can obviously happen, but on a Friday night, it still gives a rather poor impression of their stock management. Furthermore, the wait was particularly long. We arrived around 7:50 pm and didn't receive our food until after 9 pm. The worst part was that the four people who ordered mussels were served well before the two people who had chosen meat. As a result, we weren't able to eat together and enjoy a truly convivial moment around the table. We had ordered a veal escalope with cream sauce and spätzle. We were then told they were out of them. After the Coca-Cola Zero was unavailable, this is starting to be a lot of missing items. Another small detail, but one that unfortunately reflects the whole evening: we were brought an empty salt shaker. Finally, regarding the all-you-can-eat mussels and fries, those at the table who wanted more fries were served an extremely small amount, more like a tiny individual portion than a second helping of the all-you-can-eat option. When we pointed this out, the waiter simply explained that it was the end of the day's cooking and that these were the "leftovers" of fries. This is particularly disappointing, as we arrived at 7:50 pm, a perfectly reasonable time. We had to endure the consequences of the long service delay and were left with the leftovers in the kitchen. In short: no drinks menu, Coca-Cola Zero unavailable, spätzle unavailable, long wait, dishes served at different times, empty salt shaker, and a very disappointing quantity of fries for an all-you-can-eat deal. We completely understand that a restaurant can run out of stock or encounter unforeseen problems. However, when these issues accumulate during the same evening, it inevitably detracts from the experience. It's a real shame, because we came to have a nice evening with friends and enjoy a convivial atmosphere. Unfortunately, we left with the feeling of poorly organized service and an experience that could have been much better.

26/07/2026: Inn located on the ascent to the Petit Ballon. The service is incredibly friendly, and the dishes feature local cheeses. The prices are more than reasonable, and the portions are generous. Thank you for the meal after a long day of hiking.

26/05/2026: A charming farmhouse in a stunning location with views of the Grand Ballon. A wonderful refuge from the scorching heat in the valley! Excellent, rustic Alsatian cuisine! It was delicious – we'll definitely be back!

22/10/2026: We came to dinner in June and were extremely disappointed by the chipped dishes, a tasteless bone marrow tartare, and an undercooked risotto—in short, far from what we expected. Yesterday we thought we'd just have a drink, but no, you even have to make a reservation for a small drink in the afternoon! Avoid this place; it's completely worthwhile.

21/10/2026: An excellent family meal by the ocean with a beautiful view. Quick and efficient service. I particularly enjoyed the fish soup and the hake dish with stuffed cabbage.

05/03/2026: One-night stay for an evening business trip. Very welcoming and helpful staff, clean and spacious room, excellent evening meal with a varied buffet of starters and desserts – one of the best Campanile hotels I've stayed in.
