31/07/2026: I was charged €20 for a single glass of Table whisky from Leith (in Scotland, where I was living). The bottle costs €35 in the supermarket and is supposed to be affordable. Avoid this bar at all costs; it's a rip-off.

17/07/2026: Outrageously expensive bill for mediocre wines by the glass. Even the apple juice will bankrupt you. A tourist trap par excellence. Beware, suckers!

08/04/2026: Avoid at all costs! Only the photo of the hotel taken from the front is accurate; all the others are completely outdated. It's a scam, and there's no pool, and the Wi-Fi doesn't work. The ground-floor room was cold and damp, heated by an old, noisy air conditioner—we had to turn it off at night in late October! There were huge dust bunnies under the bed, with a box for insects? What kind? I'd rather not know... dust everywhere. The bathroom had no heating, the pipes were starting to rust, and the shower was filthy. This place isn't even worthy of being called a hotel room. The dining room was dark with plastic-covered tables, and the food was definitely not 3-star. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel.

06/04/2026: A warm welcome awaits you upon arrival, like coming home to a holiday cottage. The generous and varied breakfast makes you want to linger. The location is ideal for fully enjoying the Beauval Zoo. The rooms are spotless, comfortable, and well-heated, and the secure parking provides true peace of mind. I highly recommend this place.

01/07/2026: Honestly, as a regular at Ange bakeries and a recent resident of Wasquehal, I won't be going to this one again. I've never experienced such a terrible welcome! Three salespeople behind the counter, a blonde and a man chatting as if they were on a date (yes, really), not a glance or a hello when we arrived. As for the last salesperson, a very unpleasant brunette, no greeting at all, completely closed off. She practically threw our bag of Délices pastries in front of the till with a nonchalant air, tapping her fingers on the counter as if we were clearly bothering her, all while announcing the total without so much as a look in our direction. I've never encountered such disdain. I work in retail myself, and if my employees behaved like that, I'd put them in their place immediately! I much prefer making the trip to the one in Marquette; at least the service is excellent there, and we're always well taken care of.

30/06/2026: We stopped for a coffee for a minor emergency, but the toilets were still out of order! It says in small print on the door, which you only see after ordering, "If you have an emergency, don't stop here!" For a chain restaurant, this is a serious lack of service, especially when you're serving food on-site.

27/07/2026: Came for a quick lunch, but left with a pretty bad experience. Service took very long to give us menus, even when our presence was acknowledged 10+ minutes before (and not during busy period); waiter was rude, dirty glasses to drink from and mediocre food at best. Prices not too high, but also not cheap for what you get (both quality and quantity). Ironically, Café de la paix invoked feelings of everything but peace...

26/07/2026: WARNING!! The waiter was completely violent and threw a guy out by pushing him, causing him to split his head open in front of everyone. He was bleeding profusely. There were children nearby, and we called the fire department! We arrived on July 25, 2026, around 9:40 PM. We were served at 10:20 PM (even though there were few customers inside or on the terrace). The service was deplorable. The waiter wasn't smiling and was complaining in front of my 8-year-old daughter. He was serving drinks to other customers while muttering insults under his breath every time a new customer arrived. Unacceptable!!!!

22/02/2026: New atmosphere, and that's a good thing! The bar is clean, the service is super friendly, the new bartender knows his stuff and offers different cocktails, the music is great...it's really pleasant, you can feel the difference as soon as you walk in. It's good for the neighborhood 🙏!

19/01/2026: A great find for New Year's Eve! 🤩 Not too big, so perfect for having a good time! Great atmosphere, everyone was having a great time. The price was reasonable. We'll definitely be back next year.

17/07/2026: A great find right in the heart of Villeneuve-sur-Lot! The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the service is pleasant. The lunch menu is excellent, with delicious dishes. The seasoning is a little spicy for my taste, but it's very well balanced and adds a lot of flavor. (Pepper) The atmosphere is convivial and you feel right at home. One small drawback, however: the fries aren't homemade. It's a shame, because with fresh fries, the experience would have been even better. Despite this minor detail, I highly recommend this place.

20/07/2026: This restaurant is an institution, I was told! It certainly used to be!! So I went back with my wife to confirm what they said, and in the end, I'll never go back. The welcome was mediocre, the service deplorable. Taking our order was incredibly slow. Our table wasn't cleared; we had to ask for it to be cleared properly and for our dessert order to be taken. We asked for water, but it was never served. The mussels were tiny!!! The portion of fries was minuscule, and the toilets were located between the tables. Keep going like this, and your uncle's legacy will be squandered. Only the decor is passable, but it's far too cluttered.

17/07/2026: Excellent restaurant. Very pleasant place. Very good mussels and fries with Roquefort cheese.

16/12/2025: A simple place where the focus is on excellent, inexpensive food. The service is warm and friendly. Very good value for money.

22/10/2025: Excellent quality restaurant. Remember to book in advance as it can get crowded.
