12/07/2026: Very disappointed. I used to love coming to this place. The boat, tables, and benches urgently need repairing. There are splinters everywhere on the seats. Sunday brunch was bland; they didn't even have bread.

26/07/2026: AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! We ordered a glass of wine listed at a certain price. When it wasn't available, we were offered an alternative without any indication of a different price. The glass arrived already poured. When we went to pay, the amount shown was twice the price indicated, an amount that, incidentally, didn't appear on the menu presented at the table. We were served a larger glass, twice the price, without ever being informed. The staff admitted to this practice but were extremely aggressive with us, refusing any compensation.

26/07/2026: My companion and I ordered pasta, which arrived and was quite good, but imagine our surprise when, about an hour or an hour and a half after eating, we started getting stomach aches, and being sick was very strange indeed…and I won't even mention the waiter (or owner) who started smoking right next to our table…the rest of the staff was very pleasant and the atmosphere was quite nice; the only thing to improve would be the pasta cream, which was definitely not fresh

17/04/2026: Great experience at the Vaulx-en-Velin racecourse. The place is pleasant and well-organized for watching the races. The atmosphere is friendly, and you'll have a good time, whether with family or friends. A fun outing to do in the area.

30/06/2026: The poor reception at this bar is a recurring issue with the servers, and it remains a mystery to me. Little to no greeting, no smile. When you order a drink, you feel like you're forcing something out of the server! There are regularly things that go wrong when you sit outside on the terrace, and they're said in a very unpleasant way. Instead of being a place to relax, which is why you go to a bar, it becomes a place where the customer is treated like a burden! Why do they choose this profession? As a matter of fact, I won't be going back, and I'll be spreading the word in the neighborhood!

28/06/2026: I went there for a birthday. If you're thinking of organizing an event there, please, avoid it! I've rarely seen such unpleasant service; the waiters were incredibly rude to us for no reason. It was impossible to play music, or even enjoy the reserved area because of the awful heat in the bar. So we stayed outside on the terrace. We were kicked out 30 minutes before closing time. The toilets are disgustingly filthy, and the food is terrible. Run away!!

20/06/2026: Reservation made. The place is all stone, magnificent interior. Welcome: ++++++ Service: ++++++ Excellent homemade meal. Set menu at €26, nothing to complain about. The owner is really very friendly and his wife is an excellent cook. Come without hesitation! You'll have a wonderful meal without breaking the bank.

09/06/2026: Simple but efficient restaurant. What's really nice is seeing the owner's good humor. As for the owner's wife, she's probably in the kitchen! 😂😂😂😂 Set menu starting at €16, very reasonable.

17/07/2026: The owner wasn't friendly. At 8:45 pm, we asked if we could have dinner, as tables were available. We were turned away on the grounds that they were supposedly full. There was no point in insisting.

11/07/2026: A wonderful culinary discovery. Be warned, the welcome was lukewarm... The lady wasn't the friendliest.

07/07/2026: Superb setting on the terrace with the cicadas, very good quality meal, beautiful presentation, very professional service, a very pleasant moment accompanied by excellent dishes.

12/01/2026: We were there with our motorcycle and tent. The sanitary facilities were very nice and impeccably maintained, and there was a kilometer-long sandy beach perfect for hours of walking. The reception manager spoke German, and the restaurants were lovely. A wonderful holiday destination! We always love coming back, probably even this year!

30/12/2025: Beautiful campsite in a great location. We stayed in a tent right on the beachfront, and we had the option of renting a fridge. The restaurant was excellent; there was a fantastic Corsican band playing. The campsite shop had a wide selection of local products. The showers and toilets were great. A very private and peaceful campsite. I highly recommend it for a change of scenery and to recharge your batteries. A+++++

03/06/2026: Stayed for two nights whilst motorhome was being repaired in a local garage. The proprietress was very kind and understanding of our situation and went out of her way to help us with accommodation until our van was repaired. Hotel is ideally situated right in the centre of the village and is charming and traditionally French. I would thoroughly recommend a stay when visiting this lovely town.

22/05/2026: During a cycling trip, our group of 15 spent the night at the hotel and had breakfast the next morning before setting off again. We were delighted with the warm welcome from the owner, the rooms were clean, and the breakfast was very generous. I will definitely return for a few days sometime before next autumn.

07/07/2026: Absolutely avoid this place! The rude staff threatened us to leave their hotel and parking lot! We booked a room for €120 for three people, and the parking fee of €10 for one night wasn't even included in the price. The room smelled musty, the bathroom looked like it was from the war era—it's not a hotel, more like a haunted house. The photos are nothing like reality.

25/06/2026: A disastrous welcome, presumably from the so-called boss. If you're not a good salesperson and you verbally abuse a customer who's just opened the door, you should find another line of work. And as Brassens said, it's for life!
