28/09/2026: Everything was fine except the room and the bathroom which was too dirty!!!!!

15/09/2026: My wife was talking to me, and I was listening as we arrived at this "café." Five seconds later, she finished speaking, and we said hello to the waiter. We were met with a "well, really" (word for word). "What do you mean, 'well, really'?" He replied, "I've been here for ages." (It had been five seconds, and I wasn't about to interrupt my wife who was finishing speaking to me.) So we said goodbye. Who do they think they are?

27/09/2026: What a wonderful stop along our journey! We stayed here for one night and received such a warm and friendly welcome. We were offered a table at the restaurant, where we enjoyed an absolutely delicious dinner. Our room was very comfortable, with new beds and exceptionally comfortable mattresses, ensuring a great night’s sleep. Breakfast was equally delicious and a perfect start to the day. We enjoyed our stay so much that we’ll definitely be coming back and making this our regular stop whenever we travel this route. Highly recommended!

04/08/2026: Hotel with very clean and spacious rooms but it was very hot. There was a fixed fan (it didn't rotate) but with a double bed at one end and a bunk bed at the other it was insufficient.

14/10/2026: A magnificent gourmet interlude in a lush and exceptionally peaceful setting. Le Garden restaurant boasts a terrace overlooking the golf course, where tranquility reigns supreme. We particularly enjoyed the grilled octopus with its seasoning, the avocado toast, and the French toast—a truly indulgent treat to finish the meal. The cuisine is refined, and the ambiance invites you to linger. The added bonus? Enjoying the sunset over the grounds. A truly wonderful experience.

09/07/2026: The salesperson was very young, that wasn't the problem. However, I was in the middle of choosing my products when he told me, "If you don't know, I have things to do." I got a little angry, in short, I wasn't happy at all and I cut my order short.

11/10/2026: You have to go to the bar to be served; there are no waitresses. No kitchen.

14/09/2026: I don't find it as bad as some of the reviews suggest. Only used for drinks. I agree with another comment that if outside you are better off ordering inside and then going to your table, otherwise there might be a wait. The service can be imperfect, but I feel that if I kept visiting I would get to like them. You may need to be clear with your order. The server didn't seem to know what a bière blanche was, even though it is on the pump (La Bête Blanche). All OK in the end. Opens a bit later on a Sunday than some other bars.

02/08/2026: The disappointment of the day. The service was far too slow, the servers were disoriented and running around aimlessly, inefficiently. Melvin lacks training and is left to his own devices. The setting is actually quite nice, but the food was unconvincing. We had driven too far to leave without dessert; we were completely stuffed, about to burst, and the other diners' faces said it all. It's clear I won't be back. I came, I saw, and I don't recommend it. The slice of black pudding cut into four pieces was ridiculous, which is fitting, since it wasn't good. The small bowl of rice for four—we asked for more, and it never arrived. What an experience! The singer was awful; sometimes she shouted instead of singing. The repertoire could have been decent if she had sung more quietly. And I won't even mention the servers arguing in front of the customers... There's too much to say, so I'll stop there. Sometimes the food makes up for the wait, but that wasn't the case here.

02/04/2026: A very pleasant stay at this hotel located in the center of Ambert. Room (10) is spacious with excellent bedding and a large bathroom. Add to that a delicious restaurant and a warm welcome (despite what the naysayers might say). Thank you.

18/09/2026: It's always a real pleasure to be well served by a friendly and smiling person. The waiter was very kind. The tuna and vegetable sandwich was good and fresh. I also had a very good Americano. I enjoyed everything there. I'm deducting one star for the uncomfortable wooden chairs, which are quite worn, and the rather dated decor. The restaurant is large with plenty of seating. Accessibility for people with reduced mobility is easy. The restaurant is located on the ground floor of the O'Parinor shopping center, opposite Atacadao.

29/08/2026: Hello, the service was completely disorganized and poorly handled by a saleswoman who panicked, even though I'm a loyal customer. However, the tuna sandwich was generously filled and fresh; thank you to whoever made it. See you soon.

28/07/2026: A discovery made after a road closure due to a fire led us to the Hôtel du Pont d'Or in Barjols, a family-run establishment spanning three generations. The welcome makes you feel like you're arriving at a family gathering. The staff, and especially the owner, are very kind and always smiling; it's very pleasant. We slept, and slept well. The hotel was recently renovated. The breakfast is very generous 😋😋 and we had dinner at the restaurant. The food is excellent, and the menu caters to various budgets. I think this establishment will become an annual stop on our refreshing trip to the Alpes de Haute Provence!

17/10/2026: Hello I ordered a takeaway coffee and was very disappointed by the waiter's attitude. As soon as I asked, he looked displeased and replied aggressively that he didn't have a cup. I then explained that I had one in my car and that I could go get it so he could serve me my coffee. Initially, he quoted me €3.60, but he ended up charging me €4. The most surprising thing happened right after: a delivery driver came in to order a coffee, and the waiter served him his coffee in a cup without any problem. That's when I realized he actually had a stack of cups. I find this attitude unacceptable and incomprehensible. Beyond the lack of courtesy and aggressive behavior, I don't understand why I was told there were no cups when they were clearly available. This experience left me feeling disrespected and wronged. A minimum of politeness, honesty, and professionalism towards customers is truly necessary.

26/09/2026: We had breakfast at this bakery and had a lovely time on the terrace. The pastries were delicious. A great place in Megève. We'll definitely be back!
