20/06/2026: We ordered several meals through Uber Eats and were very disappointed with our order. The portions were extremely small compared to the price we paid. Most of the dishes consisted of potatoes, with very little meat. The quantities were completely inadequate for the price. Furthermore, the order arrived in just ten minutes, but it was already cold and unappetizing. Finally, a free dessert was advertised for orders exceeding the minimum amount. This dessert was included in our order but was never delivered.

08/06/2026: Ordered through Uber Eats, the three appetizers arrived completely mixed together in a single container, completely negating the concept of a separate appetizer. They were tasteless... the tabbouleh was mostly parsley stems, making it inedible. The main course was cold. Very disappointed.

01/07/2026: A pleasant experience at La Table de l'Olivier in the Mercure Carcassonne. I was a little disappointed not to have dined on the terrace. It's a hotel restaurant, but one might expect a bit more atmosphere. The chef's cuisine is simple yet delicious. If you're staying at the hotel, don't hesitate; otherwise, there are better options in Carcassonne.

04/06/2026: I absolutely loved my dinner here! The orange-honey glazed chicken breast was a highlight—perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor. The melon and ham carpaccio was a great starter, too. I finished my meal with a molten chocolate lava cake that was simply divine. If you’re looking for a great meal in Carcassonne, I highly recommend this place. Truly satisfied! I had the best dinner in Carcassonne! The orange-honey glazed chicken breast was especially exquisite, perfectly cooked and incredibly juicy. The melon and ham carpaccio appetizer was also wonderfully balanced. The molten chocolate lava cake for dessert was rich and a perfect finish. If you’re looking for a great meal in Carcassonne, I highly recommend this place!

13/07/2026: Frankly, the waiter was very unpleasant; he rolled his eyes at every question and request. Half of our food arrived at 10:40 PM, and we're still waiting for the other half. He even tried to be Channing Tatum, doing breakdancing moves. Unprofessional and unprofessional.

12/07/2026: I won't be going back there. Since the change of ownership, everything has gone downhill. All the menu prices have gone up (€12.50 for a piña colada). If the quality had been there, I would have understood, but the cocktails were frankly mediocre. As for the service, even though the restaurant wasn't even half full, we experienced slow service with numerous mistakes. The worst was when I specified a severe food allergy to the waiter, who clearly didn't take it into account because he brought me the dish with the allergen still in it. Luckily, I checked, otherwise I would have ended up in the hospital. There was no apology from him, and he showed complete indifference. It's a shame; we used to come here regularly, but this place is no longer worth the trip.

07/06/2026: The accommodation is idyllically located, about a 5-minute drive from Honfleur. Parking is available, but it's very limited and can get crowded when all guests are staying. The garden is beautifully landscaped. The interior of the main house is also cozy, and its half-timbered construction is evident. The rooms are nicely furnished with lovely toiletries. Like many half-timbered houses, this one is also quite noisy. Breakfast was basic. Coffee was provided by a fully automatic machine. We had expected more, especially since we had received an email beforehand with questions and booking information. Unfortunately, our comments regarding food intolerances were not addressed, which we found very disappointing, particularly at this price point. When we inquired about it, we received a brief reply acknowledging our receipt, but no further explanation was given. The "local" juice was decanted into glass bottles in the kitchen, which we found disconcerting. Overall, we expected more from the service; we were simply greeted and then left to our own devices. We weren't asked if we needed anything or how we were enjoying our stay. ... Overall, we expected more service and attention for the price offered. The accommodation has potential, but it needs more guest focus to justify the price.

28/05/2026: We booked and paid for a room with a terrace, yet upon arrival we were told that all terrace rooms were already occupied and that the only option available was a room on the roof, twice as small. For a hotel of this standard, this is completely unacceptable. Not recommended!

01/03/2026: Beautiful location and garden! Room a bit dark. Attentive service, but not up to 1-star standards. The "I understand you" dinner was disappointing. Very complicated, lots of aspic, and the mackerel and squab choices were unconvincing. Only the dessert was excellent! Not good value for money...

18/07/2026: The tobacconist refused to let me pay for scratch-off tickets by credit card, explaining that he didn't want to "enrich the French National Lottery" (FDJ). A rather surprising justification, to say the least, coming from a retailer who is, after all, a distributor of these tickets. Furthermore, I was unable to pay for my pack of cigarettes by credit card because a minimum purchase of €15 was required. Given these practices, which raise questions about compliance with certain obligations, I urge the relevant authorities, particularly the URSSAF (French social security agency), to investigate this matter more closely. An inspection might help to clarify any ambiguities.

06/07/2026: The couscous is excellent and the portions are generous. Reasonable prices, especially the pints at €3.90. Friendly waiters and a good atmosphere; there are big screens for watching matches.

04/07/2026: Starter Snails: no flavor, frozen, just reheated in the oven without any personal touch. Plate of hot (raw) salmon with a creamy mustard sauce... not great. Main Course Fried andouillette sausage: nothing to complain about, it's good reheated. Beef bourguignon: very good but very greasy. Dessert Crème brûlée: good. However, the staff smoking next to you, the four employees at the restaurant entrance, aren't very bright... And two items I wanted on the menu were unavailable and announced at the last minute.

11/07/2026: We had a wonderful evening, delicious meal, very friendly and attentive service staff.

24/06/2026: Held hostage by a grumpy waiter who spoke rudely to the cashier and commented on every customer. Outside, there was a chalkboard sign indicating an air-conditioned dining room, but they didn't turn it on. In short, it's not worth the only set menu offered at €44, because this bad experience only serves to highlight the quality of the food itself.

09/04/2026: Good value for money. Very good location in relation to the slopes and children's ski lessons. The head waitress is excellent, on par with her counterpart at Brasserie Georges.

09/04/2026: AMAZING! Honestly, this is the second lunchtime we've eaten there, and as a Breton, I can assure you they're the best galettes in the Portes du Soleil region!!!
