07/12/2025: My parents and I came last summer. My galette was burnt. I politely pointed this out to the chef. He retorted that it wasn't possible, saying, "I really don't want to contradict you, but it's not possible..." Twice. Bad experience.

10/09/2025: Excellent crêperie. The products are organic. The galettes and crêpes are very tasty. The welcome is very friendly. The prices are very reasonable for organic food. The setting is charming and traditional. I highly recommend this crêperie.

02/11/2026: Fantastic restaurant! Everything was excellent: the steak tartare, the flank steak, its sauce, the fries, the cheese platter… The service was very good, and the staff were really friendly, accommodating, and pleasant. In short, I highly recommend it; plus, the restaurant is beautiful!

27/10/2026: The food was decent, but the portions were too small for the price.

24/10/2026: The staff's friendliness was abysmal. We only had drinks.

14/10/2026: The hot chocolate is delicious, as is the hot milk with honey. However, the tea selection is rather limited and the prices are on the higher side. Unfortunately, the staff didn't speak very good English and we weren't really acknowledged for quite some time.

12/10/2026: A Panache and a Monaco for €7, credit cards accepted from €10. Indeed, in accordance with the law, it's clearly stated on the chalkboard menus outside, but it's still a bit much.

07/10/2026: My opinion hasn't changed since my last comment. It's still a wonderful place. Unfortunately, the outdoor café is closed in bad weather... but we can't complain given the drought. The cook doesn't seem to be the same as last year. I'll stay as soon as possible...

22/10/2026: We went to this restaurant tonight: First problem: our daughter's meat was rare, we had asked for medium-rare. Second problem: our desserts were frozen and we couldn't even eat them. I pointed this out to the waitress who did nothing about it. I do not recommend it.

16/10/2026: Wow the food was absolutely amazing!! It was a lovely setting too alongside the water. We had the Tuna Tartare (10/10!) Steak and ratatouille. The service was prompt and professional. If we ever come back to Menton this will be on the top of our list!

24/04/2026: Quiet room. Noisy front door. Impeccable cleaning. Pleasant housekeeping staff. Spacious and pleasant lobby. Bring your own bottled water; the tap water is disgusting: too chlorinated. The water in the bathtub is light gray. The bedding (uncomfortable mattress, bed linen too short so it constantly leaks)

17/03/2026: Nice hotel with lovely staff who all try to be helpful. As mentioned previously in reviews rooms are slightly dated & not designed well … with doors opening awkwardly restricting space… no bottle water in room & TV not a smart one… saying all that the room was comfortable for the one night we stayed .. breakfast was really good with plenty of choice .. we had free parking at the front of the hotel which limited… We had a lovely meal in the hotel restaurant ( review on restaurant) .. the hotel served a purpose breaking our journey on our way home .. we wouldn’t hesitate using it again as the price was excellent.

05/06/2026: We spent four nights there on a half-board basis. Hotel: The room was very clean, comfortable, and functional. A bonus: it had air conditioning. A lovely swimming pool with a nice relaxation area awaited us. Breakfast offered both sweet and savory options. The restaurant, with its superb mountain views, served high-quality regional dishes made with local produce. It was excellent and very generous. It has a family atmosphere where everyone (waitresses, cooks, owner) is truly very friendly, smiling, and attentive to their guests. The owner recommended some fantastic excursions! The icing on the cake: the bill wasn't exorbitant. Thank you for this stay!

31/05/2026: I was very disappointed by my experience at this establishment. The duck breast served was completely lacking in freshness: it was clearly cooked the day before and simply reheated. The result on the plate was extremely dry meat, which the chef attempted to mask with a generous layer of sauce. This is a shame for a restaurant that emphasizes local produce. I do not recommend it.

14/08/2026: The owner, a great businessman, calls the mayor to issue parking tickets to people who park illegally in his town.

14/08/2026: Everything is designed to rip off tourists. Here, they want the tourist trap without the tourists. And the owner calls the police if you're parked illegally.

04/10/2026: It's completely gone. Avoid it at all. How can a chef offer a daily menu like this? A home cook could do much better.

18/09/2026: Warm welcome, very friendly owner. Simple but good food. Very reasonable prices. Very welcoming (and very clean) dining room. I recommend it!

21/09/2026: In a wonderful atmosphere, the restaurant "La Comédie" offers a quality menu with simple but homemade dishes. The service is very pleasant and the staff charming. My wife and I go there very regularly, and it's always a little slice of happiness.

02/10/2026: Stopped here for lunch today only to discover there is no more restaurant at this site, only a fishing pond.

06/09/2026: The chef wasn't very friendly when we arrived or on the phone... The waitress was very kind and welcoming. The menu prices were outdated.

15/08/2026: A lovely discovery during our walks. A warm welcome and homemade food (so rare these days). Excellent value for money... we'll be back when it's cooler 😉.
