14/07/2026: We came for a crepe and a waffle, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. From the start, the service was lacking: the plates were slammed onto the table, as if the server didn't want to be there. This lack of consideration immediately created a bad impression. Furthermore, we weren't even given napkins, and my crepe arrived without the scoop of ice cream that was included in the order. The table was also sticky, which was very unpleasant throughout the meal. The most shocking aspect is the value for money. The prices are far too high for the quality of the food and service offered. At that price, one expects impeccable service, which was far from the case. It's an experience we won't repeat and one I do not recommend.

15/02/2026: Very disappointed. Poor soundproofing; we could hear everything going on in the street. I didn't sleep a wink all night. The bathroom offered no privacy. There was no handle to close the toilet door from the inside. I will not be returning.

10/02/2026: Okay, let me set the record straight about this hotel where I stayed recently. The hotel has a fantastic location. The hotel had very nice rooms. The hotel had excellent reception. No noise problems whatsoever. Don't pay attention to the reviews that say otherwise. If you're looking for a well-located, reasonably priced hotel with good service, you can book it without hesitation.

03/07/2026: The waitress refused to seat me because I was veiled.

15/05/2026: I ordered a Nutella crepe. He prepared it for me in 2 minutes, quickly, and served me like a king. The chocolate was generous, and it was delicious.

08/12/2025: The welcome was beyond unpleasant; you get the feeling you're bothering them (to put it politely). Be careful with the expiration dates on the cakes; I was sold one that was a day past its expiry date.

07/07/2026: Simple and efficient. The food is prepared in advance with bowls, pasta, rice... it's tasty. Everyone is friendly. A good little restaurant.

18/06/2026: The welcome and the place were nice, however the salads and sandwiches were very basic and therefore quite expensive for this type of food.

01/06/2026: We only went for afternoon tea. We had three ice cream sundaes. They were very good, no complaints, reasonably priced, and they accepted holiday vouchers.

13/07/2026: Nothing exceptional, as some comments point out, but since there is absolutely nothing decent in the station and its surroundings, I would say that finding a sandwich, dessert, and drinks deal at 3 p.m. and being able to sit down in a pleasant cafe was a gift during this heatwave.

11/07/2026: There's not much to eat at the train station while waiting for your connection, so I headed to Gare au Papilles. They take advantage of their location to serve us very sparsely filled sandwiches at exorbitant prices—over €10 for a sandwich, drink, and dessert combo. As for the chicken and vegetable sandwich, I'm still looking for the vegetables: a slice of tomato cut in half and half a lettuce leaf 🤦🏼‍♀️. The staff isn't very friendly; I really don't recommend this place.

04/05/2026: Today, we were asked to leave, even though we were sitting on the terrace at 7:00 PM, knowing that the bakery closes at 7:30 PM. The service was appalling, and the saleswoman was extremely unpleasant. And yet, we are regular customers.

21/06/2026: When I went, the atmosphere was awful. Seeing the cooks handing out pain au chocolat and cigarettes, I knew it was going to end badly. I was forced to walk through the backrooms and the kitchen, which was anything but clean. The cooks didn't even bother to dress properly. We paid €33 for our meal, just to get something the size of a tray of fries. The dish was horrible; it had Chinese sauce in it, which had absolutely nothing to do with it. The "crispy chicken" wasn't even the picture on the menu because it was mercilessly generated by AI. And we didn't get the student discount. Thanks for giving us a sudden bout of diarrhea.

18/06/2026: Yesterday I ordered a medium taco with kebab and nuggets, but the taste was awful, and the nuggets tasted moldy inside the taco. So I decided never to go back. If I could give zero stars, I would; the previous owners were better.

21/05/2026: I only came here because of the bad reviews. What I found was a lovely café with exclusively friendly and patient staff. We went there in the mornings and evenings, and after just the first day, we felt very welcome. I loved it. Being friendly yourself is definitely a prerequisite, though! 😀

19/05/2026: Disgusting bar. The owner (an Asian man in his sixties) is a nasty, aggressive, and dishonest person. After paying for a coffee, he demanded extra payment to smoke on the terrace. When I started taking pictures of the bar to leave a review, he assaulted and shoved me. An aggressive, angry, and dishonest individual. Totally unacceptable behavior. (Added after the owner's response) As I wrote, you are a liar. You assaulted me while I was taking a picture of your bar. Luckily for you, there were no police nearby. The photo clearly shows the beginning of your assault. You tried to stop me from taking your picture, even though it's legal. Then you approached me and started shoving me. Any witness could confirm who actually started the altercation.

06/06/2026: I was very disappointed by the reception from the staff, who were extremely rude. The meal was bland and tasteless, apart from the canned vegetables. It's a shame, as the atmosphere is perhaps the only redeeming feature. I would only recommend it if you haven't eaten in three days.

02/04/2026: Great place for an evening with friends! We enjoyed a delicious fondue, cold beers, and a perfect tiramisu. The warm and stylish decor made the atmosphere even more pleasant.

27/07/2026: For my daughter's wedding cake, Mr. Wernet is a true professional. He delivered our cake, and it was magnificent and delicious. We will definitely use his services again for our future events. A huge thank you; it was a real success. BRAVO!

11/04/2026: We had a terrible experience. The waiter was particularly unpleasant: nonchalant, completely lacking in hospitality, and, even worse, openly mocking us as soon as our backs were turned. We felt like we were bothering him every time we ordered. To top it all off, despite a large table and a hefty bill, the waiter refused to split the bill, forcing us to pay a single, very restrictive amount. A complete lack of flexibility and respect for the customer. I strongly advise against going there.

11/04/2026: Low-quality food, expensive drinks, unpleasant waiter, and to top it all off, they only accept credit cards for purchases over €20. In short, I don't recommend it.

02/07/2026: I often have lunch there with my colleagues, and on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, I ordered a mountain salad. Barely an hour later, I suffered from food poisoning: excruciating spasms, vomiting, and diarrhea that lasted for over three hours. Neither I nor my colleagues will ever set foot in that place again. It's unacceptable. The bacon and cheese were spoiled. I hope a health inspector will come knocking. This brasserie is one to avoid.
