09/08/2026: Absolutely brilliant from start to finish. The food, atmosphere and service were all spot on, but Idris deserves a special mention, genuinely one of the best servers I’ve ever had. Proper attentive, friendly and made the whole experience even better.

08/08/2026: The food was awful. I had onglet de beef, and it was one of the most unappetizing meals I ate during my entire holiday. Furthermore, I suffered from severe nausea for several days afterward. Definitely not recommended!

08/06/2026: Very disappointing. There was an enormous amount of noise throughout the night, which is completely unacceptable for a hotel. A party was being held in the hotel-restaurant, but we were never informed before our arrival. If we had been warned that the music and noise would continue all night, we might have made a different decision. It is unacceptable to pay for a hotel room and not be able to sleep. Under these conditions, the main service expected of a hotel is simply not provided. Our night was completely ruined.

01/02/2026: It is with great regret that I write this comment. I live 200 meters from this bakery, so I used to go there almost every day, but now it's no longer possible. The quality of the products is plummeting (definitely frozen bread on a Sunday morning). The cashiers are still friendly, but you can tell they're disillusioned, I don't know why, maybe it's due to the blaring African music in the kitchen! That's it, I'll walk the extra 300 meters to the competitor.

25/05/2026: Excellent value for money, generous and delicious portions, top-notch staff (a rarity these days), very good desserts, and the rum baba (the authentic recipe) was superb! Bravo!

25/05/2026: This review applies to the restaurant only. The service was unfriendly, and the quality was very questionable. Be prepared to wait, especially at the start of peak season, as we waited almost half an hour for a carafe of water (in 34-degree heat, that's really pushing it) and a burger that wasn't cooked properly. Our food was lukewarm, and judging by the burger bun and the frozen fries, which were as hard as a rock, you have to wonder if the plates hadn't cooled down somewhere before reaching our table... I want to emphasize the desperately long wait; our neighbors had to help themselves to salt from another table that hadn't been cleared yet. We even shared our sauces with them because they were forgotten. The only good point is that the portions weren't too large or too small, but overall it's really very average, and the numerous Routard awards it has received in the past don't guarantee the current quality.

22/03/2026: Pizza charged at 17.90 but advertised at 12.90 – a small rip-off, an experience not to be repeated. Only one in three diners was satisfied with their meal; the total bill for three was 125 euros with a bottle of wine, without dessert or coffee. In conclusion, a disappointment.

28/03/2026: It's always a pleasure to stop by this bakery to buy not only bread but also pizzas when they still have some, because they're truly delicious, generously filled sandwiches, pastries (a special mention for the wonderfully creamy custard tart), and viennoiseries. Our only regret: we live too far away to go every day.

18/05/2026: A magnificent building, situated on a beautifully maintained 9-hole golf course. Loans and Mélissa at reception provided a very warm and professional welcome. Magali's massages are renowned. Golf lessons with Julie, a very patient and skilled instructor, are also available. The spa is pleasant. The only drawbacks are the food, from the basic breakfasts to the very average meals for the price. It's a shame that local produce isn't showcased. A new chef has just arrived; let's hope he raises the bar. Otherwise, there are plenty of good restaurants nearby.

09/05/2026: Hello, 1. Charming and quiet location. 2. Defective charging stations; impossible to charge the car. 3. The sauna wouldn't get above 60°C. 4. The €13 breakfast was less than half the price; no pastries (meaning no more pastries for the other guests), no fresh fruit, and no fruit salad. A gesture of goodwill was made without us even asking. A real shame for such an establishment. I don't recommend this hotel despite its enormous potential.

18/03/2026: It's an ok hotel. Clean, functional and well situated a few metres from the lifts and another slope that takes you straight down. I just think that it is overpriced for what it is.

17/03/2026: Reservation at La Grande Lanière for 6 people at 8 pm. Upon arrival, no one seemed to be aware of the reservation, and the table wasn't ready. Once seated, the waiter asked us what we wanted to drink. There was no wine list, "We have red from Savoie." "Do you have white?" – the response: "Hold on, I'll go check." We ordered three fondues, two rib-eye steaks, and, most notably, a tagliatelle with salmon. The dish was a pile of cold, dry, and stuck-together pasta topped with a few pieces of smoked salmon. The fondues arrived, but there were no plates, no bread, and no forks. The bread for the other dishes arrived much later, only upon request, as it was frozen and quickly reheated in the oven. Finally, the meal ended, and the waiter asked if we wanted coffee. "Yes, a decaf, please…" "Oh, sorry, we don't have decaf." Either you want to run a restaurant with a minimum of professionalism and quality, or you should change careers, which would be perfect for future customers who wouldn't be taken for a ride. Keep walking

30/07/2026: A lovely spot to sip a drink overlooking the lake with the sunset in the light. We chose to stay for dinner; the mixed platter was very good and generous, and their homemade fries make all the difference. Despite the friendly staff, we weren't keen on the concept of ordering at the bar, bringing the drinks back to the table, and then getting up again to order at the bar. The tables and chairs on the terrace also needed cleaning, as they had ice cream marks left by previous guests. There wasn't enough cutlery and napkins for eating... despite these minor details. We'll definitely come back for a relaxing time, as it's still a pleasant place.

10/05/2026: We waited ages… just for them to take our drink order. We asked if they could take our food order right away (so we wouldn't have to wait even longer, as we had two children at the table), and as a result, we were served an hour later 🥲 As for the drinks… the Fanta is listed as 33cl on the menu (€4.50!!!) but it was actually a 25cl bottle that was EXPIRED… I mentioned this to the person behind the counter who, instead of offering me a free drink, simply asked what I wanted instead. The menu will almost certainly not be updated, so BEWARE! Now for the food: not very tasty and even less generous. There were hardly any fries (which you have to pay extra for with the mussels) and the Bruschetta was ridiculously small and insignificant. The waitress seemed a bit annoyed, but the poor woman probably gets a lot of flak, except she has no real decision-making power. In short, to sum up, the quantity/quality/price ratio is really NOT GOOD at all, with the added bonus of a long wait time… a very long wait 😒
