14/09/2024: Accueil à la limite du manque de respect. Je commande un succulent, on entend un flan ? Une personne qui m accompagne demande un chocolat chaud au lait végétal, on lui dit y a que lait d amande, ok et au final quand on lui sert et elle demande si c'est bien au lait végétal "ah ouais nan j'ai oublié " ..... Quand on demande une cuillère pour manger le succulent "faut voir avec ma collègue la bas".... Bref vu les prix on s attendait à un service de meilleure qualité. Quand au succulent pistache, il est bon mais écœurant et pas pratique à manger... par contre éclair café et cookie nickel. Autrement dit, bonne adresse pour un snack mais pour le service vraiment installez vous ailleurs !

12/08/2024: Nous avons pris une salade au premier abord très alléchante : « salade d’été », « avec des produits frais et sains ». Celle-ci était composée de melon, mozzarella, salade et tomates. Ravis de découvrir une forte odeur bien désagréable lorsque nous avons enlevé le couvercle. Le melon était bien loin d’être frais (pour ne pas dire périmé), et la salade immangeable. C’est scandaleux !

06/08/2026: Delicious! Everything in the shop looks so tempting! I had the sandwich, drink, and dessert combo, a really good ham and cheese sandwich that was absolutely delicious—the ham was excellent! The pastries are very good too! The combo is a bit pricey though: €13.90. I was just a little disappointed with the pastries; I didn't find them very fresh. The pain au chocolat was a bit chewy and small… for the price, that's a bit of a shame… maybe I arrived too early or too late!

31/08/2025: Room 0 service 0 location 0 I had booked 5 months ago and as soon as I arrived on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at 7 p.m., I found the door closed. Sign on the door (permanent closure) WITHOUT WARNING. SHAME.

05/07/2026: Still as unpleasant as ever... At every stop, which I admit is quite rare these days... the owner/manager is unfriendly and makes you want to give him the same treatment, or even worse. Not a hello after he's looked at you... His waitress for the day, on the other hand, is pleasant. Thank you to her. Don't expect much... I even remember once when, accompanied by pretty girls, he was surprisingly affable, pushy, and insistent in his communication... and yet, he's still here after all these years and negative reviews. It just goes to show that with few businesses, the unpleasant ones survive.

20/05/2026: Yves is a truly unique character. Behind his chauvinistic exterior and gruff exterior lies a genuinely kind person with a true passion for his work. Between his humor, his straightforward manner, and his warm welcome, he contributes entirely to the restaurant's charm. A personality like no other, which makes the experience even more memorable. So go there without preconceptions or judgment, but rather to step outside your comfort zone and try new things. Finally, everything is delicious, generous portions, and the prices are reasonable. If I had the chance to be in Gresse-en-Vercors year-round, I would eat at Yves's several times a week without hesitation. 19/05/2026: If I could give zero stars, I would without hesitation. An extremely disappointing experience from beginning to end. The welcome was deplorable, the staff clearly lacked professionalism, and the way they spoke to customers was unacceptable. The most shocking thing was the manager's attitude, who dared to tell me, "It's better if you don't come back to my restaurant," simply because I pointed out poor service. I have never seen a manager react so disrespectfully to a customer. Instead of listening to feedback and trying to improve the situation, they prefer to disrespect customers. This kind of behavior is unacceptable in the restaurant industry. I strongly advise against this establishment. Personally, I will never set foot in it again, and I advise others to avoid this place if they want to be treated with even a modicum of respect.

02/03/2026: One of the worst paninis I've ever eaten in my life.

28/06/2026: I live near the club. Here we go again, after a few months of calm, it's started up again: a massive brawl at 6 a.m. A few months ago, this was happening every week. Why can't the security guards manage this bunch of rowdy kids after clubbing? Last night, there were two or three guards outside who could have easily stopped everything, but they just stood by and watched or intervened half-heartedly. It's a serious matter, both from a human and professional standpoint. I hope the prefecture will take action, because this place reeks of corruption.

14/06/2026: Just a lot of nitrous oxide-laced garbage in the street, making life impossible for the neighbors. I hope it closes soon because someone will have died in an accident since no one is checking them.

22/07/2026: Aside from the pleasant setting, the rest is disastrous. The service is slow and the food is subpar. The dish was swimming in oil. Avoid this place.

21/07/2026: Very, very bad staff, very rude. Not only did we wait 20 minutes to place our order, but we had to call them twice, they ignored us, and only after calling them a third time did they reluctantly come. It's a terrible thing, after all, we come here to relax, it's not pleasant at all. They took our order as if I knew the menu from my head, scolding us. However, this will lead to customer loss.

29/06/2026: The tobacconist's rudeness is unbelievable. You arrive, say "Good morning, Madam," and get no response. You leave saying "Thank you, goodbye," and she doesn't even look up. In short, it's convenient, but that's all.

01/05/2026: Delighted to return to Courtepaille, but what a disappointment. It wasn't good at all. The ratatouille was a joke in name only; it was so watery and practically devoid of any vegetable pieces that it should have been served with a spoon. I thought I was playing it safe by choosing the flan for dessert... tasteless, disgusting crust, and served warm! @_@

11/01/2026: Setting and atmosphere: The restaurant offers a pleasant atmosphere, which is appreciated, especially in the context of a team meal after a team-building activity. Organization and availability of dishes: We had booked in advance for a group, yet some dishes were already unavailable when we ordered (notably the flank steak, of which only two portions remained). This is regrettable given the reservation and the number of guests. Quality and hygiene: While my dish (a flank steak) was acceptable in terms of taste, several colleagues encountered problems: – hairs in one dish, which is unacceptable from a hygiene standpoint, – one of them received a dish that was lukewarm or even cold, – some drinks were out of stock, such as the beer requested by a colleague. Value for money: Considering these factors (uneven quality, hygiene issues, stock shortages), we found the value for money insufficient. The prices seem high compared to the service offered. Conclusion: Overall a disappointing experience despite a pleasant setting. The restaurant would benefit from improving its organization, inventory management, and especially quality control in the kitchen before justifying such prices.

13/12/2025: A disappointing culinary experience. The dishes were tasteless and bland. There was even a pen cap in the green salad... Dishes were missing after orders were taken, and they had nothing else to offer... Not enough fries for the table, so they served pasta instead without asking if it was okay. Avoid this restaurant; the waiter and owner drink more than the customers... The bill is very expensive for what you get, when it's even edible.

12/04/2026: We wanted to have lunch after a hike, but they refused to serve us because we had our dog with us, even though there were other dogs inside the restaurant and one of us had diabetes.

09/04/2026: No room cleaning in 3 days. Sticky tables at breakfast, no noteworthy amenities. The breakfast buffet didn't deserve the name. The restaurant was uninspired. Wilted flowers in stale brown water.

04/08/2026: The quality of the pizza dough and toppings is beyond mediocre. The Sicilian pizza, for example, is covered in black olives (more than 25 low-quality, unpitted olives: a pizza where you have to spit it out after every bite...). The pizzas are small and incredibly dry, worse than mass-produced! We ordered a bottle of rosé to accompany our "meal," and...surprise when the bill arrived: €45 a bottle! 😵 Run away!!

13/07/2026: Beware, the seemingly friendly waitress is using the table water scam. This means that expensive bottles of water appear on the bill, which weren't ordered. Water is normally free... You'll feel completely ripped off afterwards.

30/07/2026: I apologize for having to emphasize that the gentleman in the Hawaiian shirt smelled horribly of sweat, making us feel nauseous. Frankly, sir, with all the feedback aimed at improving your service and retaining your customers, please make an effort, for the good of your business... modern times mean anything is possible when it comes to smelling good... After being seated, we couldn't stay despite the young man's kindness. Best of luck to you.

27/07/2026: Ordered a Banatella ice cream and a Perrier; service was quick. The ice cream was good, good value for money.
