27/07/2026: Disgusting food, 15 euros for a takeaway pizza that we waited 30-40 minutes for and which wasn't even defrosted. It's a disgrace to sell this kind of thing that costs 3 euros in a supermarket.

18/07/2026: The welcome was very pleasant; we arrived as a group of 13 and were seated quickly around 1:00 PM. However, we ordered a variety of dishes, all of them dreadful. A four-cheese pizza that looked like it came straight from the freezer at the local Lidl. A chicken gizzard salad with three tiny pieces of lettuce and a few gizzards, and rice (what was the point?). It's worth noting that there was corn and kidney beans with a cherry tomato in it. At the price of the roasted Camembert, it's not worth ordering. A potato that looked like it was fighting for space and two slices of salami for €16.90 is simply not worth it! And the blanquette with flageolet beans and corn? In short: Avoid at all costs!

06/10/2025: So, we know the products and the concept! It's Made in France! As for the rest, after the obligatory cigarette break, the woman explains that she went to bed at 4:00 AM and regrets her lifestyle choices (she still found the time to get nails worthy of a velociraptor). One of the guys informs us that he's going to pee (in a toilet without a sink) while the other quickly ignores the woman's innuendo about "needing nothing, wanting you in my head," etc., etc. The work surfaces are far from being regularly cleaned and are decorated with food scraps and used knives. Add to that the waiter's annoyed expression when he reminds a customer that the choice is limited to three raw vegetables, and it really speaks volumes about the consideration given to customers. It should be noted, however, that Uber Eats and other delivery drivers are, on the other hand, well received. In short, if you want to wash your hands before eating, appreciate cleanliness, consider the employees' lives to be none of your business, and are worried that the high noise level of conversations and laughter coming from the kitchen might disturb your lunch break, try a different Made in France restaurant than the one in Vandoeuvre…

17/07/2026: Upon arrival, the cashier was friendly and helpful. My husband, grandchildren, and I paid for our meals before heading to the hot food counter. We immediately noticed that the buffet was practically empty, especially the fry containers, which were completely bare. Several customers were already waiting in front of the buffet. When I asked them how long they had been waiting, they told me it had been over fifteen minutes. I then asked the employee not to cook the children's hamburgers until the fries were available, so they could have a hot and complete meal. This simple request triggered a particularly unpleasant reaction. The employee told me she "didn't have all day" and that I was wasting her time. When my children finally changed their minds and wanted hamburgers, her attitude remained just as aggressive and disrespectful. Faced with this situation, I asked to speak with the manager, Maryse. I calmly explained the situation to her. Unfortunately, I didn't feel truly listened to or taken seriously. When the fries finally arrived, after a wait of over thirty minutes, the employee placed them down abruptly, practically throwing the tray onto the counter. His attitude and gaze were clearly inappropriate before he went to chat with his colleague while looking at me. I was also very shocked to hear the employee make inaccurate statements to her manager, giving a version of events that didn't correspond to what had actually happened. I felt like I was being portrayed as a liar, even though several customers had themselves noticed the abnormally long wait for the fries to be refilled. Beyond the deplorable service, the state of the restaurant was also unacceptable. The restrooms were filthy (urine on the floor, litter) and many tables weren't cleaned after customers left. Finally, the quality of the meal was disappointing. My granddaughter herself told me, "Grandma, it wasn't good." It's particularly regrettable that a meal intended for a family with young children should be so underwhelming. I want to emphasize that, despite my frustration with the situation, I remained polite and respectful. In return, I felt I was treated with contempt, aggression, and a complete lack of consideration. This is not the behavior one has the right to expect from the staff of a restaurant open to the public. I therefore request that you seriously examine this situation and provide me with a response. I also hope that measures will be taken to ensure that no other customer has to endure a similar experience. I had a loyalty card, and I think it's going straight in the bin because I don't think I'll ever return. Luckily, my daughter wasn't there that day. The stamp wouldn't have been the same. 11/05/2026: It's horrible, I'm speechless. Avoid at all costs! It's the worst hotel I've ever spent a night in; between the unsanitary conditions, the dampness, the leak, and the nauseating smell in the room, this hotel needs to be inspected by health authorities because it's unacceptable to continue lying to customers about the photos! I REALLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL. STAY AWAY!!!!

24/04/2026: I have rarely stayed in a place where kindness and hospitality are so prevalent. It may not be the height of luxury, but honestly, when I read some reviews, I think some people have lost sight of what's truly important… Here, you are welcomed with open arms. Step through the door of Hôtel des Deux Gares and see for yourself: a simple, welcoming, and warm atmosphere. And a special mention for the bedding… pure bliss, perfect for a wonderful night's sleep! You were a lifesaver, thank you again for this short stay 🙏🏻 A little Breton girl who had nowhere to sleep 😊

11/08/2026: Avoid at all costs... the restaurant is filthy, the furniture is in poor condition. Don't even bother going to the toilets (no light, only one out of three working). It's impossible to order drinks or ice cream in the middle of August. There's only one waitress...

11/07/2026: We received a very warm welcome from Doudou, who clearly loves his job; we're shopkeepers, so we know what we're talking about. Having someone like Doudou on a team is invaluable!

08/07/2026: I came in to ask for a glass of water, as I couldn't find a shop to buy a bottle of water after walking for about ten minutes. With the heat, I was starting to feel unwell. I received a very warm welcome from the waiter behind the bar. He immediately poured me a glass of water and pointed me to a nearby shop where I could buy a bottle. After finding a nice, cold bottle of water, I came back to thank him and get an orange juice. A big thank you to this waiter for his kindness, hospitality, and professionalism.

05/01/2026: It's a shame that this bar/restaurant has the best view of the port because the service is deplorable, the manager is a prison guard, never friendly… I came 3 times to have a coffee on the terrace giving him "the benefit of the doubt" but I never got a smile or a hello 😂 This time was the last time, I recommend the café next door!

08/12/2025: The waitress on duty that morning was disgruntled and disrespectful because she didn't have change for 20 euros and tried to get all high and mighty! Talk about driving customers away! Maybe she has a libido problem? And then again, given her size! I don't recommend this establishment because, judging by the reviews, this kind of behavior is commonplace.

06/03/2026: A very disappointing experience. I had booked for my husband and myself for Valentine's Day. I was thrilled to spend an evening in a place that looked magnificent and had a great atmosphere for Valentine's Day. Disillusionment quickly set in. Even when I booked, I had to pay in full upfront... Okay, fine, for a fine dining establishment, you might think that's normal. Then, two days before the event, I received a call to confirm my reservation and was told it wouldn't be at the Robert II but at the Salle Agnès, and at 7:00 PM sharp. I had no idea what this venue was. On the day, upon arrival, huge disappointment! A function room with dozens and dozens of tables, about 120 people, singers and musicians, but it was way too loud, though thankfully they were there. The decorations were awful, with tacky fake roses around the pillars. Nothing like the setting of the Robert II. In short, the first disappointment upon arrival. We were seated and then waited an hour and a half for our drinks, and only after two hours did the first course arrive. It was excruciatingly long. The service was abysmal; they brought us white wine, the bottle was lukewarm, and when we asked for a bucket, they had no ice, so we got cold water. A Coke cost €12—unheard of, except maybe in Monaco. The meal wasn't hot enough, and the dessert was mandatory and meant to be shared. They brought us bread after we'd finished the salmon; the table service was completely inadequate. Not to mention that we were charged for wine pairings we hadn't ordered, and we had to go back and forth twice to get a refund for several days. We clearly felt that profit was prioritized over quality. The longest evening of our lives. What a shame! Never again!!! Avoid at all costs.

23/02/2026: Valentine's Day meal 2026. Unbelievable for a fine dining establishment! On the aperitif menu, it says "Whisky Rum"? Which ones are you supposed to ask for? Actually, there's only one of each. I fill in the wine list: we have the names, not the appellations; you have to guess the color and origin. Great for choosing. We order a bottle of white wine, served lukewarm, at the same time as the aperitif. I ask for an ice bucket and am told "no ice." They bring me a bucket of tap water, so the wine doesn't chill at all! €40 a bottle... After four insistent requests and 35 minutes, they finally bring me a bucket with ice. I almost forgot the waiter, to whom I had to explain how to open the wine bottle, and who was butchering the cork, didn't offer a taste but poured both glasses directly. The only redeeming feature was a waitress who did her best to smooth things over in this complete fiasco. We were supposed to be in the gourmet restaurant, but instead we found ourselves in a noisy, overcrowded wedding hall. They claimed we should have been called to inform us of the change of venue; it was like this, but instead we went from this to this (see photos). I would have immediately canceled my reservation. The contrast is hard to swallow... and the price even more so! On top of that, they took so many people that everything arrived lukewarm; you had to rush to eat it at least somewhat hot. SHAMEFUL! The highlight of the show was the dessert! It's the same in all three restaurants at La Chartreuse... but the other two are brasseries! And to top it off, we were forced to order the same dessert for both of us—the whole nine yards! I gave it one star because I can't give it zero. My worst Valentine's Day since 1992. Le Robert 2 with a reception in a function room... Avoid at all costs! Taking reservations without informing customers of this surprise (let's call it that) is unacceptable, especially when they ask for such a large sum to be paid in advance! As an apology, they offered us complimentary drinks. I would have much preferred to enjoy a pleasant evening in a classy venue instead of being asked, "How long is this going to take? When will it end?"

08/03/2026: Avoid at all costs. Excessive prices, mediocre quality. They have a monopoly, luckily for them there's no competition... On the plus side: pleasant staff, nice atmosphere.

20/02/2026: The boss was always stressed, and the pizza was definitely frozen, what a shame!

09/07/2026: UNACCEPTABLE. The designated hours for children's leisure activities (from 1:15 pm to 6 pm) are completely ignored. We're all crammed together to leave two lanes for users who already have the pool reserved in the morning and evening (from 6 pm to 8 pm). It's shameful, especially in the middle of a heatwave!

24/05/2026: Swimming is only possible from 10 am to 12 pm, so the pool is inevitably packed, making it impossible to swim peacefully. Avoid this: go to the sea!

02/08/2026: Exceptional fries, mayonnaise, burgers and fried treats to share 🙏🏻

04/07/2026: Decent, good value for money. Very close to the metro in a pleasant neighborhood.
