10/07/2026: Avoid this place for salads. The Caesar salad had a bizarre mayo dressing that bore no resemblance to a Caesar dressing. The goat cheese salad was tossed together with a few green beans, a bagged salad, four poorly cut slices of goat cheese log, and four halved tomatoes for €18.50. If you're looking for goat cheese on warm toast, look elsewhere.

27/06/2026: Terrible restaurant. We ordered one Coke Zero, but they didn't have any. Terrible service. Avoid this place.

11/08/2026: The reviews of this place are right and we should have checked before eating here. Service was slow. The food was vile. We all ordered moules frites and most of the mussels were undercooked, mushy, tasteless. The dessert was readymade supermarket bought and bad. For 25 euros per person, you’re better off going to a boulangerie and getting some sandwiches. Don’t waste your time with this overpriced scam. Huge rip off.

20/07/2026: Once a must-visit destination, renowned for its prestige and the quality of its cuisine, this restaurant has unfortunately lost much of its luster! The setting and the sea view are not enough to justify such high prices! The quality of the dishes is no longer up to par; the presentation lacks finesse, the recipes are basic, the flavors too simple, the desserts are not homemade, and the service does not provide the added value expected at this price point! We are very disappointed! The price-quality ratio is clearly excessive, which is regrettable for an establishment that was once a benchmark... We would now be more pleased to visit a small brasserie than a "big name" restaurant of this kind! Avoid it, both for yourself and your wallet!

23/06/2026: A disappointing experience. On a Saturday night, when there was literally no one there, the service was slow, which was all the more absurd given that we were simply waiting for a mixed platter. The platter was presented deceptively: a handful of crumpled salad leaves to give the illusion of volume, when in reality, the plate was desperately empty. The cheese slices were extremely thin. We paid top dollar only to end the evening still hungry, to the point of having to eat when we got home.

22/06/2026: We were a group of seven and were very disappointed with this place. The waitress wasn't very friendly; she pressured two people in our group to order drinks even though they had stomach aches, saying in a rather curt tone, "It's one drink per person minimum." With that kind of attitude, I understand why the bar was empty on a Friday night in summer. The musty smell in the establishment didn't improve our experience at all.

27/12/2025: Mélanie is a perfect host, both in terms of her welcome and the service. A very pleasant place, except for the door that has to be left open and the resulting excessive heating consumption.

19/06/2026: If you prefer your "French Onion Soup" chilled in a microwave, served by a rude waiter who prefers you sit outside because you're not ordering enough, this is the place to go! 40 euros later, admittedly a relatively small bill for two cups of cold soup, but the Heineken, thanks to the sealed and chilled bottle, is the safest recommendation I can make. The server was curious enough to ask why I didn't eat the soup, and when I told him it was cold, he apparently had heard this feedback before, and presented me with the full bill. I'm just glad he didn't bring a hot bowl, as I would have been suspect of what might have been added. Avoid this place. In my opinion, based on my experience, they are happy to let stupid Americans pay outrageous prices for crappy food.

20/05/2026: Being snubbed when there were empty seats in front of me wasn't part of my "big go 2026" plan. It's a bit embarrassing not to serve customers properly. We understand the crowds and the rush, but we don't understand the snobbery. Disappointing because it looked delicious! But in this business, human interaction is important too.

15/05/2026: I hadn't seen the "Minimum €10 credit card payment" sign on the bar because I was seated on the terrace. When I went to pay for my €4.50 Coke Zero, I explained that I'd forgotten my purse and therefore only had my phone to pay. I was told to go withdraw cash… even though I didn't have my credit card with me. Then they asked me to pay €10 instead of the €4.50 I'd spent. So I stood there, saying no, until the waiter finally handed me the card reader for €4.50, in an extremely rude manner. From then on: not a glance, not a thank you, not a goodbye. I really felt like they just wanted to get rid of me. No empathy, no customer service whatsoever. Honestly, a place to avoid.

05/05/2026: I ate herring fillets swimming in a centimeter of vegetable oil. The waiter was blasé; others would come after me, so my herring problems...

03/05/2026: The owner really knows his way around business... He kicked out the girl celebrating her birthday, resulting in 30 fewer guests. Amazing! And no reason to do it either... he's trying to act tough in Concarneau... This place isn't what it used to be. I strongly advise against it; it's about as friendly as a prison guard. And it's not complicated; there are plenty of bars nearby. I highly recommend all the neighbors. And you'll save money too.

23/06/2026: A very disappointing experience. The man at the counter was cold, unpleasant, and clearly unwelcoming. No greeting, no politeness whatsoever—an unacceptable attitude for a business. I'm not from Voiron; I stopped at the bakery closest to the train station, and honestly, that was a huge mistake. You even get the impression that you're being judged based on who you are. When you can no longer tolerate customer interaction, you need to ask yourself some serious questions, because this behavior gives a very bad impression of the place. I will never set foot in this place again, and I strongly advise against going there.

18/05/2026: Good coffee and croissants. Toilets very clean, but the reception really needs improvement.

16/04/2026: Selling chilled wine with an extra charge of €1.10 per bottle, without any prior warning—absurd! I saw it the next day and went in to ask about it, and it was a huge surprise: no refund! I don't know where this internal regulation comes from, nor what consumer protection law applies to me, but I will probably be taking action.

13/04/2026: Way too noisy (clattering dishes, a hand dryer in the basement that sounds like a fan, too many people and not enough space between tables). It's chaotic everywhere, the waiter is too rushed, brushing past us every time he goes by and even knocking over a little girl. This kind of place is fine for a drink on the terrace, but not for a family meal. P.S.: The croque monsieur was good, but the steak tartare was really terrible 😟

31/07/2026: Dishonest practices We ordered two glasses of Brouilly and received two glasses of vinegar. When we asked to see the bottle, he couldn't bring it to us. We still paid €14. Avoid this place!

10/08/2026: It is a very hot day and 3 PM, and we want to have a quick drink here. There are a few other people sitting on the terrace who are also having a drink. The man wants to show us a table, but the French lady is very unfriendly and tells us that they are full and have no room. This is despite the fact that there is more than enough space. The man says again that we want a drink, and by God's grace, we are allowed to take a seat. Praise to the man who helped us, but nothing but disappointment regarding the lady.

10/08/2026: The price and the quality of the food were inconsistent! Disappointed, especially considering the location, which is otherwise fantastic... The fork was dirty, but it wasn't replaced with a clean one, and the glass was broken.

24/02/2026: The crepe was very good, as was the Coke. The staff is funny, warm, and extremely welcoming. You immediately feel at ease thanks to their good humor and professionalism.

24/11/2025: We came for lunch on Sunday the 23rd. It was good, but nothing amazing. I don't know if it was the eggs mayonnaise or the ribeye steak, but I've had stomach pains for almost two days now; it's unbearable. I think there's a problem with hygiene or the freshness of the food. I won't be going back.

07/08/2026: This Friday in August, the sign indicated open until 5 PM. I went by and the store was closed for vacation. What respect for its customers!

17/05/2026: Shameful! As advised four days prior, I called to order two trays of mini pastries. I clearly stated that it was for a religious service, so I would come very early in the morning on a specific day to pick them up. So, as planned, I arrived early to collect the order, and there, with remarkable nonchalance, I was informed that my order hadn't been placed (the order form had never been sent) and therefore I wouldn't receive it. Panicked, I noticed no reaction, no apology, especially from the manager online, just a "gesture" of 10%... I was stunned: what kind of pettiness is this, such a lack of human consideration?! And such a stingy gesture in the face of such a huge professional error, which jeopardizes an organization planned several days in advance. In tears and running late for the event, the shop manager finally had the decency to make a "human gesture" by compensating for their "mistake" and apologizing. However, I remain shocked by such a lack of responsiveness and humanity, by making me so late, and by such a lack of professional courtesy in the face of a blunder that ruined what was supposed to be a joyful start to my day! It's truly shameful to make it seem like only "money" matters and that the customer is so disregarded; it's utterly disgraceful and insensitive.

25/06/2026: The bread is okay. The service is friendly. BUT WAITING EVEN 5 MINUTES IN THAT OVEN!!! It was torture. They really should install air conditioning, both for the customers and the staff. It's shameful for a major bakery chain. Penny-pinching on air conditioning, what a disgrace…
