15/06/2026: I'm a regular at this place for their dark chocolate succès, which I love whenever I'm back in Lyon... but that's over! I bought two on Friday afternoon, so nearly €14 worth! I kept them cold for transport (as I always do): cooler, ice pack, and fridge. It's Monday, and I was looking forward to biting into my succès... What a disappointment, what a waste! Straight to the bin because of mold! I've never had this problem in all the time I've been transporting them, even when eating them more than 7 days later.

30/04/2026: Excuse me, but the brioche was terribly bland and dry. Nothing tempting or flavorful about it, despite appearances. Disappointed. The staff were friendly.

18/05/2026: It's a disgrace to offer a pizza like that!!! Honestly, it's disgusting, the cheese is weird, the pizza dough is nothing like the real thing, even frozen dough is better! The windows are so dirty you can't see through them, the hygiene needs to be reviewed, even the servers' uniforms don't look clean at all... not to mention the pizza prices... it used to be so much better! Everything needs to be rethought, nothing is right!!! P.S. And now the coffee isn't good either.

14/02/2026: Not really in the mood for work, arrived at 7 pm and wasn't taking any more orders (it says it closes at 8:30 pm on Google, I asked what time it closes and they told me 8 pm because they have to clean, it's a joke). Three people seemed to be in a hurry to leave.

01/04/2026: I bought marinated meat, I would never have had that smell of spoiled chicken, it was disgusting!

29/03/2026: Bad experience, the minced meat was too fatty, the chicken was raw, I don't recommend it

15/07/2026: They refused my American friend entry because they didn't like the look of him (of course, he'd never been before). They're blatant racists and they only let you in based on appearance, whether you're their type or not. I absolutely do not recommend it. And the music in the nightclub has been the same since 2020. Avoid at all costs!!

14/07/2026: This nightclub is very mediocre. The prices are outrageous, and you have to be prepared to wait 40 minutes for a bottle. The atmosphere isn't great, and you have to be okay with being jostled repeatedly. Not to mention the unpleasant smell throughout the entire club. I absolutely do not recommend it. I wonder if all the clubs in Angers are like this...

19/07/2026: We ate there last night. The deviled eggs were inedible (they had a strange taste, to the point where I wondered if they were fresh)... I added more salt and pepper, but it made no difference! The mussels marinière were bland and completely uninteresting. The mussels basquaise were passable (thanks to the sauce!). The burger had little flavor, the bun was falling apart because of all the sauce, and the cheese inside didn't even melt! The dessert cup was perhaps the only thing with a bit of flavor (vanilla ice cream with caramel sauce), but the bowl it was served in was completely ruined... broken at the edges (very dangerous) and must have been from the 1950s! The owner was sitting at the corner of the bar doing absolutely nothing... Frankly shameful. The ultimate tourist trap. The only positive point: the incredibly kind and smiling young waitresses who do their best to keep the place running smoothly! (It's for their service and helpfulness that I gave it a second star!) Here's a photo of the state of the fries that were served with the mussels.

10/07/2026: Excellent place, the cookies and financiers are delicious!!! The service is pleasant and the saleswoman is very friendly.

02/07/2026: DO NOT COME HERE! I have never ever encountered such rude customer service. The food is not that great either. Honestly just avoid, it is not worth your time or your energy.

15/07/2026: I won't be ordering from this Domino's again. The pizza was dry, bland, and cold... and the delivery driver wasn't very friendly.

14/07/2026: The prices are getting ridiculous… over €20 for an “average” pizza… insane! Who would have paid 140 francs for a pizza?! Lol

27/04/2026: I waited months for a lease and I'm still waiting for my deposit. This hotel is pretty shady and accepts everyone (lots of social cases). I definitely don't recommend it.

27/06/2026: A very pleasant inn on the edge of the Montrollet pond. A calm and peaceful place with very kind people!

07/06/2026: When the Auberge La Marchadaine reopened, we were delighted to see new restaurateurs settling in Montrollet. From the outset, we supported and encouraged them, working hard to ensure the establishment's success. Unfortunately, after several months, the consensus among many Montrollet residents is unanimous: we are disappointed by the establishment's decline. The lack of a proper menu, a very limited food offering, and a general lack of professionalism fall short of our expectations. This is regrettable, as this inn has always been an important part of local life, a place where residents could gather and share convivial moments. We sincerely hope that the establishment will one day rediscover its original purpose and once again become a true meeting place for everyone.

15/05/2026: We like this bakery, but the atmosphere is far from welcoming. We wanted brownies, but the product label wasn't even there. The server took the order labeled "moist hazelnut and fudgy," and we told her we wanted brownies. She replied that they were brownies, and we told her no, because the labels said something else. Her colleague, who was cleaning, loudly and without any shame, told us, "It's obvious it's a brownie and not a fudgy cake." They should label their products better. Also, Marie Blachère uses three different baking methods for their bread, and that's not indicated either. They were cleaning up to finish on time while people were waiting in line. We arrived at 7:00 PM. Instead of apologizing and admitting they were wrong, they blamed the customer for not recognizing the product.

08/05/2026: It's unacceptable for a bakery to take a bill and coins from the previous customer and then grab my bread with both hands without washing them first! Where is the hygiene in a place that sells food? I think there are hygiene rules that should be followed! Furthermore, my bread didn't have the name or price displayed! Very disappointed

25/05/2026: I travel every week. I've never seen a hotel in such a dilapidated state: carpets and walls in a terrible condition, mold in the bathroom, unidentified substances stuck to the bathroom radiator… Simply scandalous.

23/07/2026: I hadn't seen the reviews before going in (and they were justified). The owner was very unpleasant 🤦‍♂️ bordering on rude. I think that when you go into an establishment to spend money, customer service is part of the job. A vacation is in order, or perhaps a career change, Madam. 19/10/2025: It was near the hotel where I was staying. It took 45 minutes before they even asked me what I wanted to drink. Another 20 minutes passed before they came to take my order (after I had to remind the server). So I just grabbed a burger to save time. Honestly, it wasn't anything special... I don't know what was actually good about it... Anyway. I wouldn't go back there myself. Cheers

17/10/2025: This restaurant is a disaster, with exorbitant prices for the type of food offered. Friday evening at 8 PM, only two tables were occupied in the entire restaurant: a couple and a table of three. That was already a bad sign, and it was confirmed. The amount of sauce to accompany your meat was so minimal it was a joke; next, it would be served in a teaspoon. For dessert, there were no spoons to eat the ice cream. There were three of us, and I got up to complain. There was no sugar with the coffee either, and not even an apology for the oversight. He brought a spoon, even though there were three desserts. He told me, "You said one spoon, it's almost as if we were at fault for their oversight." We ordered an XL waffle sundae and a Bueno, but there was no Bueno, despite a nice picture on the menu. Instead, they put three marshmallows in without asking if we liked them or offering an alternative dessert. This same dessert was supposed to have Nutella, but there was no trace of it, just a little bit of... Chocolate sauce, a pre-made waffle, and two scoops of ice cream, all for €9.95—a rip-off and a misleading menu if you go by the picture and the name of the dessert... We ordered a "café gourmand," an espresso with half a pre-made waffle, a scoop of vanilla ice cream, and a small pot of whipped cream with speculoos that was inedible, enough to make you sick. The cream wasn't fresh, it smelled rancid, and had a suspicious taste, which we reported, but they offered no replacement or apology for the inconvenience. A strawberry tartlet was missing, and the extremely unpleasant waiter told us it was written on the website that the tartlet is only served seasonally...lol. I'm at the same restaurant where I'm eating on the website; what kind of ludicrous response is that? They don't warn you, I have to guess or specify it on the menu, it's apparently too complicated for them, but the price remains the same with or without the tartlet. This restaurant is a joke! The waiter refused to smell the tub of whipped cream, so confident is he in their fresh produce, and told me to lower my voice. I must be dreaming, I've never seen anything like it. I told him I would leave a negative review and I hoped his superiors would see it and take responsibility. He looked at me with a smile and replied, "Well, what do you want me to do about it?" This gentleman still thinks he can talk down to customers, unbelievable! The total for this espresso, half an industrial waffle, a scoop of vanilla ice cream, and a tub of inedible whipped cream, was €9.40. Three tables occupied, including ours, on a Friday night was suspicious, and it was confirmed. Go eat somewhere else; you'll be better received and treated with more consideration for a much more reasonable price, and above all, with good ingredients. Our first and last time in this so-called restaurant. (Customer, table of 3 people: 1 adult and 2 children) With a total bill of €132 reduced to €128 for this sorry spectacle of a restaurant and a lack of respect for customers... I'm keeping the bill to prove my visit to your establishment if you dispute my opinion or doubt it.
