05/10/2025: What can I say? - Well-located for sightseeing without traveling too far. - The table d'hôte experience offered at this establishment allows you to meet people from all walks of life and have a great time. What's more, the food is of very good quality. - The owners are very welcoming, available, and attentive. - The cottage is pleasant and functional (the only downside is that the terrace isn't on the same level). - And +1 for Welcom, who barks quietly to be petted! It's impossible to resist him given his cute face! We recommend this place without hesitation after spending a week with family this summer at this Dordogne establishment 👍🏻

10/12/2025: A very warm welcome with a smile. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The homemade food was excellent. Very good value for money for an overnight stay for business travelers. The grounds are splendid.

25/02/2026: Good products, unfortunately we couldn't find a mix of colors for the sachets, the packs were all the same scent.

30/01/2026: A snack break at Confiserie Clavel Serge. The place is clean and pleasant, the staff are friendly, and the service is quick—no complaints there. The selection is generous: waffles, ice cream, cookies, sweets… it's hard to resist. I had two waffles: very good, really, but served almost cold. Let's just say they were more like a memory than fresh from the waffle iron 😅 A shame, because they would have been perfect warm—and I definitely prefer them that way. Despite this minor temperature issue, it's a nice place for a sweet treat in Carpentras.

03/03/2026: There are places that exude serenity. Château Les Merles is one of them. In a charming, human-scale setting, the centuries-old buildings, whose soul has been preserved, provide the backdrop for a team attentive to every wish. (Hats off to the chef and his team, who master the subtleties of both savory and sweet dishes). Not to mention the rather technical 9-hole golf course, which adds a delightful touch to the day before or after a long walk along the Dordogne River or in the almost adjacent state forest. Needless to say, we'll be back soon.

16/02/2026: We received a gift box, and we decided to stay at Château les Merles. We had a wonderful Valentine's Day, with a delicious meal. Afterwards, we spent a night at the hotel, where everything was taken care of. And all the staff were incredibly kind. Absolutely nothing to complain about; you can go there without hesitation. Thank you again to Château les Merles for this memorable experience. Bravo! 👏

11/02/2026: A wonderful experience at the Saint Hubert in Arcis, a warm welcome, a magnificent orange dream room, spotlessly clean, and then the second surprise, dinner worthy of the best restaurants from start to finish, an address to remember, well done to the whole team, icing on the cake, pets are welcome.

20/11/2025: The first thing that comes to mind when you think of Vol au Vent in Chambray is the excellent value for money! If you're looking for a strawberry tart in December, look elsewhere. You go to Vol au Vent to eat fresh, seasonal, and well-prepared food, and above all, don't confuse Vol au Vent with bouchées à la reine ;-)...Go without hesitation!

10/11/2025: Fantastic experience at Vol au Vent restaurant! The food is delicious, generous, and made with real, fresh ingredients. Special mention to the owner, who was lovely and welcoming, and who even took a liking to our Shiba Inu – it's so nice to feel your pet is welcome and pampered.

We stumbled upon this inn by chance, right in the middle of the village, like finding a beautiful postcard that tells you time has stood still. The late hour didn't deter anyone; there we were, seated in a warm, elegant, and simple setting, and we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. So much so that we wanted to stay the night! :) We appreciated the room, the bedding, and the bathroom as much as the dinner and breakfast. A huge thank you for this five-star welcome of simplicity.
