17/07/2026: This is a very casual place, where the menu is written on a chalkboard. It is perfectly good food at a reasonable price, but nothing out of the ordinary. Atmosphere also quite casual. Do not think you are going to a place with a tasting menu or wine pairing. It’s not that type of place. That said, service was friendly and our meals were good.

Warm and welcoming servers, a pleasant restaurant, and delicious food. A great time!
18/07/2026: Restorative teas and fresh plates in a calm room, which sounds like nothing much until you've had a long week and realise it's exactly what you wanted. The tea selection is unusually well curated, the food is light and precise, and nobody hurries you. It's a good spot for a slow lunch or an afternoon meeting. Not a destination in its own right, but a genuinely lovely thing to have nearby.

01/08/2026: A pleasant little beach in La Ciotat. For those who enjoy jumping, there are some rocks to jump from. Some daredevils have even jumped from 20-25 meters. It's dangerous, but the adrenaline is a winner.
Minus: not enough shade.

14/07/2026: A lovely meal served on a shaded terrace with a charming little fountain. Friendly staff and owner. We come back very regularly. Spritz as an aperitif, a seafood platter for myself, and the €39 set menu for my partner: a very generous salad, ribeye steak, and profiteroles for dessert.

28/06/2026: We had a wonderful experience at the bistro. The ambiance of the restaurant is rustic and inviting. Our waitress Anya was friendly and helpful. We each had the prix fixe which was delicious but warning it was a lot of food! The terrine and the lamb were standout dishes for us but I imagine everything is delicious. The wine was also very nice and the price was reasonable. I would also recommend booking in advance. We will definitely be back!

15/07/2026: An unusual restaurant nestled in lush greenery, with a friendly and attentive staff. Their specialty is, among other things, the rib-eye steak (a very generous portion for two). All meats are grilled, and they also offer a few vegetarian dishes. But it's the incomparable atmosphere that draws everyone back. There's a phone number for reservations, and it's essential to book in advance, as they've been very popular for 26 years.
05/07/2026: An unusual, bucolic spot. Ideal for a summer evening with its cozy spaces under the trees. Perfect, very friendly, and welcoming service. The food is excellent. Prices are a bit high, but the place is worth the trip.

The setting is magnificent, the tableware and tablecloths are beautiful...
The service and welcome are impeccable.
But what matters most is the food: the presentation, the more than ample portion, and the taste!....
And all this for a very reasonable price!
In my opinion, there's nothing to criticize.
Perhaps the best value for money I know, and I've been to many restaurants...
Not my first visit, and certainly not my last...
02/08/2026: Excellent experience at La Garenne restaurant. The thoughtful touch for those with gluten intolerance was much appreciated; it's so nice to feel understood when you have this type of intolerance.
Thank you again for a lovely meal, and the pleasant outdoor space is a real plus.
