(even the birds like it, and I experienced that firsthand... but the owner was great... and it made me laugh)... in short... go there!

Unfortunately, the food itself doesn't quite live up to this, and the discrepancy between the description and the service is disappointing. The positives The flavors: Overall, it was good, and the tastes were spot on. The presentation: There was a clear effort made; the dishes were well-presented and made a good first impression. The disappointing aspects The technical aspects: The risotto rice was undercooked and still a bit tough. The value for money: The portions are too small. Serving three tiny potatoes is rather frustrating, especially since the cost of the ingredients doesn't justify such a stingy portion. It feels like a "gastronomic" presentation that mainly serves to mask a lack of generosity. The dessert: A major disappointment with the tiramisu. A recipe without mascarpone, accompanied by a small cake and a slice of apple buried under 10 cm of whipped cream for show... it's far from the expected authenticity. Comfort: To top it off, the drop in temperature at the end of the meal made the experience rather uncomfortable. In summary: Given the establishment's excellent ratings, I expected a much higher level of service. I am not questioning the work done in the kitchen (I even emphasized that the flavors were excellent). However, my comment reflects the overall dining experience. The use of a siphon for the tiramisu unfortunately masked the expected textures. Furthermore, I note that you completely ignore the issue of the risotto being overcooked (it was tough) as well as the drop in temperature in the dining room, which nevertheless influenced my opinion. 29/04/2026: An atmospheric restaurant, or perhaps even a "bar" would be a better term. The food was good and the service was excellent. The place is very atmospheric and hidden away off the main tourist trail.

25/04/2026: I visited this place after touring the Louvre, just when I was starting to get a bit tired of Western food. You can think of it as a French-style pizza. The Traditional is a slightly spicy bacon-topped pizza (no cheese). It wasn't greasy at all, so I really enjoyed it. It's not in the photo, but the mushrooms have a very pizza-like flavor. The beer isn't in the picture either, but I highly recommend ordering it. You can think of it as being on par with Red Rock. I ate outside. The prices are reasonable, and it suits my taste.

08/03/2026: Everything was perfect: the dishes were generous, flavorful, and prepared with great care. You could taste the quality and passion in every plate. The service was particularly warm, attentive, and very friendly, which made the experience even more enjoyable. A must-visit in Agen that I wholeheartedly recommend. I can't wait to go back!

Walking in was like stepping back into childhood, with the aromas of grandmother's cooking wafting through the door. They served delicious traditional dishes, just the way we like them, at very reasonable prices. I highly recommend it!

29/04/2026: We had a very good meal. The service was impeccable and very professional. The dishes were excellent and beautifully presented. The only thing that needed improvement was the toilet, which was a bit poorly maintained: the toilet seat wasn't fixed, a light fixture was dangling, and there was a cobweb on the ceiling with the animal in the center. A shame.
