07/11/2024: Un nom ronflant « Normandin entouré de ses petites pommes de terre et de haricots beurre »… en gros dans l’assiette, une boule de chair à saucisse avec une poignée d’haricots beurre en boîte, plein de fils… bref pas bon du tout. Et c’est même honteux de servir une chose pareille!

31/08/2024: A very pleasant restaurant with a paved courtyard in the shade of a tree. Don't hesitate to have your meal in this charming atmosphere where you will be warmly welcomed by the managers. The salads are well stocked and good, as is the burger, all for honest value for money.

02/12/2025: Pleasant restaurant, friendly staff. As already mentioned in the reviews, the portion of salmon terrine with three peppercorns and dill cream, even considering the price, was too small to be enjoyable. I recommend the semi-cooked foie gras with roasted beetroot, honey, and thyme (beetroot is served in a separate ramekin for those who don't like it). Regarding the main courses, the pan-seared scallops with celery root purée and pistachio were perfectly executed, the pan-seared prawns with Fourme d'Ambert sauce and curry were good (a small bowl for waste would be a nice touch), and the dish of the day (chicken blanquette) was good. However, the chicken gratin with Maroilles cheese and endives needs improvement as it was far too greasy (I pointed this out to the waiter). The selection of wines, cocktails, soft drinks, coffee, and even the Irish coffee was excellent.

27/09/2024: Un accueil des plus chaleureux par (C)ARINE qui a été autant professionnelle qu'agreable + repas de qualité qui a ravi nos papilles = un dîner ce 25/09 absolument parfait à tous les niveaux avec en prime une petite dégustation en guise d'apero de Gillardeau, la Rolce des huitres, effet "Wahou " garanti ! Un grand BRAVO à la brigade et encore un grand MERCI à Carine pour sa gentillesse. Belle découverte, adresse à conserver précieusement. Excellente continuation à toute l'équipe et surtout ne changez rien pour notre plus grand plaisir gustatif ! Carine et Alain

17/09/2024: Après plusieurs expériences concluantes pour le dîner, on a testé (et approuvé !) la formule du déjeuner. Simple mais efficace, de bons produits bien cuisinés (hampe sauce poivre et frites, harengs pommes à l'huile...). Avec en prime l'accueil pro et charmant de Laura, et un service très agréable (merci Sarah et Matis!)

27/10/2025: Having come for a drink around 2 p.m. to warm up in view of the terrible weather, we were captivated by this timeless place with its "estaminet" atmosphere and tasted the dishes on offer. It's tasty, traditional, and French (eggs meurette, snails, stewed brisket, homemade mashed potatoes) and it's everything we love! Authentic cuisine, very friendly welcome, and a warm atmosphere! Save room for the desserts, which are very generous, and keep your eyes open for the vintage decor. Special mention to the friendly, smiling, and accommodating server! We'll be back!

22/10/2025: Dinner with friends on a Saturday evening in Talloires. Eggs meurette to die for, 5* Savoyard escalope... a meal well accompanied by a Chateauneuf du Pape, just velvety, in short, perfect in every way. I'm not talking about the laughter break in the toilets... From the impeccable service, attentive staff, and good advice... nothing to say, all good. Thank you to the whole team for this delicious evening in every way. See you soon!
