21/01/2026: An incredible experience, full of delicious homemade dishes to share, which paired perfectly with the wines we enjoyed tasting. The service was also excellent! I highly recommend it!

However, the rather mediocre service, characterized by pretension and unfriendliness, spoiled the experience. I wouldn't return. 28/08/2024: After going up and down the stairs and there, seeing the famous little girls, and the bottom of the lower pit of the tower of the castle of Loches, visiting the magnificent castle, we decided to stop at the café brasserie café des arts, where we were well received, The customer service is impeccable, the Périgord and Lochoise salad dishes are excellent! We noticed that the salads are loaded with meat, which is a good thing! Tiramisu desserts, and unfortunately crème brûlée (just kidding 🤣) Everything was perfect! Thank you to the managers, cooks, waitresses for their kindness.

27/08/2024: Après avoir monté et descendu les escaliers et il y en a, vu les fameuses fillettes,et la basse fosse de la tour du château de Loches, visité le magnifique château, nous avons décidé de nous poser au café brasserie café des arts, où nous fûmes bien accueilli, Le service client est impeccable, les plats de salades périgourdine,et lochoise, excellents ! Nous avons constaté que les salades sont bien garnies en viande, ce qui est une bonne chose ! Les desserts tiramisu,et une crème malheureusement brûlée ( je rigole 🤣) Tout était parfait ! Merci aux responsables, cuisiniers, serveuses pour leur gentillesse.

12/12/2025: Nice atmosphere and great setting, but almost no non-alcoholic drinks menu, apart from 2 or 3 sodas or sparkling water... it's a real shame, especially since most other bars make the effort to offer alternatives!

20/01/2026: Thank you to the young waiter who arrived late Sunday evening at 11:30 PM. I ordered two glasses of red wine, and he kindly brought the bottle to confirm the wine. We also ordered two desserts. It was a pleasure, a flawless experience! I highly recommend it. Thank you.

14/01/2026: Access difficult, beware if handicapped in anyway, menu over ambitious full of promises not kept but a good effort . Excellent service and welcome from the lady at the front desk, nice decor. Placed too near the other table although lots of space available.

19/11/2025: We really enjoyed it, friendly welcome, quick service, lovely sea view, one small drawback: no toilets on site, you have to go outside to go further...not ideal when it's raining!

08/07/2025: Loved this place! Went with my husband and two boys. The food is excellent, as is the service. Fun decor, especially if you're a 90s kid like me 😁 Advice: make sure you book in advance. We did and we were glad, as the place was fully booked the evening we attended.

02/06/2025: A good restaurant, the setting is pleasant with a little discreet background music. The food is good and the service excellent. The prices are reasonable. You can also just stop for a coffee or pastry break during the day.

06/12/2025: We stopped for a break during our hike at the Auberge. The food was excellent, the service was friendly and efficient, and we were surprised by how low the bill was. Highly recommended.

28/12/2025: We were just at Au Bureau to start the evening. A lovely brasserie with polite staff, it looked inviting – at first glance. We had considered having dinner there, but somehow the many small flies on the bar and the exceptionally clean wine glass bothered us. Take a look at the picture of the wine bottle cork and our wine glass – that's not what I call clean.

13/09/2024: In a very original hut atmosphere of yesteryear you can enjoy generous and tasty cuisine, quality products, the pasta with scallops and foie gras are divine, the meat is succulent, the service is however a little long. The prices are in accordance with the quality of the cuisine and the products.

09/09/2024: Very good table, here we eat "pagnolesquely". Excellent welcome, very good advice on their beautiful wine cellar, the service is top notch to allow us to enjoy very good dishes. Book your evening blindfolded.

09/10/2025: We had a very enjoyable stay here. The rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff were very friendly and dinner in their restaurant was great. Highly recommend for the proximity to Pech-Merle cave and charming local villages.

05/10/2025: We loved the dinner; it was really good (cave menu). The view and the terrace were fantastic. The room was nicely decorated, with a small balcony overlooking the Célé. However, there was no elevator (note for those who have difficulty climbing stairs). On the other hand, the reception area needs to be improved; it wasn't very pleasant. It's probably the end of the season, perhaps... Our bathtub flooded the bathroom (the window seal no longer works?). A positive: a separate toilet. Good breakfast.
