28/06/2026: Excellent restaurant. Very welcoming, I highly recommend it.

13/06/2026: Passing through the neighborhood for a meeting, I decided to take a break and have a café crème. After comparing the various terraces nearby, I found that Bistro de Charonne offered by far the most reasonable price: €2.50 for a café crème consumed there, while several establishments just a few meters away were charging up to €5 for the same thing. The manager was courteous, calm, and professional. The place was clean and well-maintained, which made for a pleasant experience. However, one thing particularly surprised me: despite significantly lower prices and a satisfactory welcome, the establishment was practically empty, while the neighboring terraces, though much more expensive, were packed. This situation, in my opinion, illustrates a certain contradiction. We regularly hear that purchasing power is declining, that going out is becoming unaffordable, and that everything costs too much. However, when a business offers fair and reasonable prices, it doesn't necessarily attract the same clientele as its more expensive competitors. Personally, I prefer to support establishments that charge fair prices rather than those that take advantage of inflation to increase their profit margins. The Bistro de Charonne deserves to be better known and more frequented.

02/02/2026: The place is simply amazing I was there with a group of Jews for the weekend and Shabbat. The owners went out of their way to help accommodate the group, and the stay was more than adequate The place is clean and maintained to a very high standard, even for a prestigious area. The kitchen was converted to a kosher kitchen despite all the requirements, and the food and cooking were done on site for the entire weekend, including Shabbat Highly recommend

29/07/2026: We celebrated our wedding on July 11, 2026, at Ferme Lou Meou, with 74 adults and 20 children, and we absolutely loved the venue. The charm of this old stone farmhouse delighted our guests and created a warm and authentic atmosphere for our day. The premises were spotless and perfectly suited to accommodate all our vendors, which greatly simplified the planning process. A huge thank you to Cathy and her husband for their warm welcome, their availability, their invaluable advice, and their support throughout the preparations. They were always attentive and helped make this day truly unforgettable. We also adored the "Ali Baba's Cave," a room filled with charming decorations and decorative items that allowed us to further personalize our wedding. A magnificent venue that we wholeheartedly recommend for creating wonderful memories.

30/06/2026: I discovered this incredible estate nine years ago when I started working as a wedding photographer, and even then, I fell completely in love with it. I've returned several times, and each time my heart skipped a beat at the authentic charm of the place, the flowers, the omnipresent nature, and the wonderful tranquility. When it was my turn to organize our wedding, it was obvious that we should celebrate our love at Lou Meou! And we experienced a dream weekend, a timeless escape, an enchanting interlude we will never forget. All our guests were captivated by this place where we cried, laughed, and danced… The kindness and availability of the owners were so appreciated, and they helped us immensely to make our wedding a dream come true.
