This would have prevented us from making an unnecessary trip on Saturday, July 25th, especially since I had booked online and received a confirmation email.

19/07/2026: Cozy spot! Nice and pleasant place to sit and have a drink and a meal. They have a small menu (no fixed menu!), which is very nice! That way, you know the food is prepared with care. There are games available and a little shop with local products! The lady serving was incredibly sweet and friendly.

Despite the late hour, the team was kind enough to open the doors for us so we could have our meal and enjoy dessert and cold drinks. We were greeted with such kindness. The staff is lovely, smiling, helpful, and truly attentive. 07/08/2026: We wanted to try this restaurant, and unfortunately, we don't agree with the other glowing reviews. The welcome was indeed friendly, but the meal was really disappointing. My son ordered the €25.50 set menu, in which the fries were really subpar. They were nowhere near as good as fresh fries. His dessert was also very basic. We also ordered two burgers with the same type of fries. We weren't asked how we wanted our steaks cooked... They were also far from a butcher's steak; the thickness was the same as what you get in fast food restaurants. My wife didn't like the signature Sarlat burger, and the cheese used wasn't the one listed on the menu. I ordered the Périgord salad, and it wasn't any better. The foie gras was too salty. As for the service, it was indeed fast, as often mentioned in other reviews, and that was to ensure a second seating! We were told to arrive at 6:30 pm. This way of doing things is really unpleasant, even if we understand they need to make money (for your information, I made the same kind of comment at Pierre Etchebest's restaurant).... Following this, we preferred to stop at the main course and not have dessert because we would have been disappointed for sure. We had it elsewhere and that cheered us up.

14/06/2026: I stumbled upon this place by chance, but it was a real treat. The bluefin tuna tartare was absolutely delicious. The waitress was very friendly and helpful despite the late hour.

14/07/2026: Fresh, delicious sashimi with plum that tasted incredibly fresh, and the beer was ice cold exactly what I needed to cure a hangover! The waiters were sweet, handsome, and provided great service. Definitely a place I'd happily come back to. Highly recommend!

02/08/2026: A wonderful discovery on this Friday evening at the end of July. We received a very warm welcome from the owners. We started with a kir (white wine and blackcurrant liqueur) and a local blonde beer, Maltéo. Then, for starters, marinated beef carpaccio with parmesan shavings and basil, followed by a salad of scallops and prawns sautéed with garlic and parsley. Our main courses consisted of pan-seared sea bream fillet, risotto, mussels and scallops, and oven-roasted duck confit with Sarlat-style potatoes. For dessert, we enjoyed a pavlola with seasonal fruit and sorbet, and a three-chocolate crisp. To round off our meal, we had Limoncello and Calvados. The chef is skilled at both cooking and plating, creating dishes that are pleasing to both the palate and the eye. The owner suggested local wines (Buzet red and Gascony white) to complement the dishes, which were perfectly paired. Very friendly people, we recommend stopping by their table. You'll have a great time. Enjoy your meal!

13/08/2026: One table, three pots of mussels. Special mention for the mussels with Roquefort cheese, which were delicious. A varied menu offering classic, well-executed French cuisine. Quick and friendly service despite a full house. More than generous desserts and ice cream!

11/08/2026: Unfortunately, the tuna steak was extremely dry and had little flavor. The sauce was very tasty.
