The restaurant is on the banks of the Cher in a warm, sober and modern setting.
The dishes are made with local seasonal products.
All the dishes are excellent and very well presented.
The service is also very good, the waitress was very friendly and gave us very good advice/information on the dishes and wines.

28/11/2023: A place lost in the mountains which has developed to offer numerous leisure and relaxation activities: restaurant with magnificent terrace, superb quality spa with breathtaking views of the Alps but also giant zip line or Nanette's waffles.
I still have to try the treetop adventure course and the new obstacle course (which looks tough...)

23/10/2024: Endlich ist dieses Restaurant wieder regelmäßig geöffnet - auch jetzt, außerhalb der Saison.
Neue Wirtsleute, die ihr Fach verstehen und mit Engagement für die Gäste wirken.
Der Koch kann sich hier richtig entfalten und tut das mit Erfolg. Die Karte ist übersichtlich, nicht zu anspruchsvoll, und das, was angeboten wird, schmeckt ausgezeichnet.
Der Wirt kennt die Weine der Region und empfiehlt sie gerne. Insbesondere die Rotweine von Saint Chinian können sich mit jeder anderen Herkunft, sei es Bordeaux oder Burgund, auf Augenhöhe vergleichen lassen.
Der Service ist persönlich und freundlich. Die Preise sind günstig.

From the moment we welcomed us, Anaïs and Donovan made us feel at home with their kindness and professionalism. The service was impeccable from start to finish.
As for the cuisine, it’s a real journey for the taste buds! The lamb shank was a pure delight, meltingly tender and perfectly seasoned. The scallop risotto, for its part, was divine, with perfect cooking and subtle flavors that blended perfectly.
And what about dessert? The frozen peanut is simply magnificent, a sweet touch which rounds off this exceptional meal wonderfully.
A big thank you to the whole team for this magical moment, I recommend 100%!

we decided to have lunch at this place when we arrived there by chance after our wanderings in the neighborhood and we appreciated the quality of the dishes at an affordable price, starter, main course and dessert for €26.90
quality homemade French cuisine
for my part, incredible gizzard salad, very full of tender and soft gizzards, salmon cooked to perfection with aromatics enhancing it with its julienne of vegetables with a refined taste to conclude with a baba eu rum accompanied by a bottle of rum if necessary
it was such a pleasant moment of shared pleasure that I went back the next day with my son!! who also appreciated the quality of the dishes.
I recommend!

28/08/2024: Croquines was an exceptional caterer for our reception and wedding reception. Sandrine helped me find the best options to feed and entertain our guests with creative ideas. She offered us many options for the aperitif and the meal, and the tasting of our choices convinced us. Sandrine also put me in touch with a sommelier (Objectif Vin) who I highly recommend. Communication with Croquines has always been fluid. On the day of the wedding, the servers were very friendly, and the food was both delicious and beautifully presented. Many of our guests complimented the quality of the dishes and asked for the name of the caterer. I highly recommend Croquines!!! 🩷
