14/08/2026: We had a very pleasant lunch today. We were very well received without a reservation, the shaded terrace was very pleasant, the staff were very attentive, the food was delicious (we had gyros), and the little extra: freshly squeezed fruit juices with different recipes every day!

23/07/2026: We ate one of several vegan dishes here. It was delicious. The service was super friendly, and we felt very comfortable. We would definitely come back :)

23/07/2026: The owner/proprietor is a marmite character - you either love him or hate him, it seems from the reviews. We loved him. He was friendly, helpful and efficient. The food was great - not huge but incredibly delicious and filling. He added salad items to the refrigerated Buddha bowl which included a generous portion of avocado before serving it to us. Two of these, two bottles of water and an espresso each cost about €35 which for a cafe so close to the tower seemed pretty good value. We would definitely recommend and would visit again if we were in the area.

31/07/2026: Seasoning is good. Sadly one member of the service team consistently gave noticeably more attention to neighboring tables, providing detailed explanations and warm interaction, while our table received minimal communication and noticeably less attentive service.

25/05/2026: Excellent menu! I especially loved the tuna tartare as a starter and the chicken and shrimp with shellfish sauce as a main course. Very pleasant service, no wait at all!

22/05/2026: We came for lunch on Wednesday, May 20th! The €22.90 menu is excellent value for money! Thank you to the chef for the freshness of the dishes, which were as beautiful as they were delicious! The welcome and service were impeccable despite the crowd! We come every time we visit Mèze and have never been disappointed! Thank you and best of luck!

16/08/2026: Le Carnotzet is a beautiful establishment, with a chalet-style atmosphere and very clean. The service was quick and very pleasant, with jazz music playing in the background. We chose the €16 set menu and were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the dishes, which brought back the best of simple cuisine. The value for money is more than reasonable. Kudos to the chef and his waitress! I highly recommend it!

20/07/2026: Ten years ago, Michel Aprin and William Bernard brought their dreams to life, sharing their passion for fine cuisine with us. [40 years of experience.] And all this with local products. Every dish is presented and described by the two chefs, who also personally handle the service, making us appreciate the experience even more. The presentation is remarkable. A Michelin star would be well deserved. The wine list is reasonably priced. We had a wonderful culinary and convivial experience. A place to discover, but reservations are recommended.

15/06/2026: We had a wonderful time at this inn. The food was delicious, especially the foie gras and Chef Guillaume's potato gratin. The welcome was fantastic, very friendly and welcoming. The setting is pleasant and a real change of scenery. We highly recommend this inn. Give Voyou a pat for him 😉 and a kiss from Rumba 😉
