20/03/2026: We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary on March 7th, 2026. The service was excellent and professional. I highly recommend this venue.
18/03/2026: We attended a meal organized by the Salon Sports Club on Friday, March 13, 2026.
The venue was very pleasant, with an aperitif served outside. The servers were friendly and welcoming. However, we were disappointed by the main course, the aioli.
The vegetables were cold and undercooked, and the mayonnaise we were served was of very poor quality.
It's an iconic dish of the region, and it's a real shame to offer such a subpar version.
What a pity.

26/03/2026: Good food and a warm welcome once it's open, but if you arrive for lunch and are 15 or 5 minutes early, the staff will turn you away because you can't enter the restaurant before 12:00 sharp—an absurdity, especially in winter when you have up to 10 people waiting in the cold until it's exactly 12! These could be customers just starting to order drinks, like an aperitif! It's no better at the security office! I find this organization very unprofessional!

25/11/2025: Lovely place in Villecroze: we had their 3 course lunch on a Tuesday, 50 cl of wine for 47€. Everything made with care, excellent ingredients and wonderful hospitality by staff. Highly recommended! Easy parking acorss the street, don't miss exploring the Old Town below or Troglodyte caves above!

The food was pre-cooked and reheated... but it was good.
The coffee was ok.
The staff were friendly and cheerful!

11/03/2026: An authentic place, a top-notch welcome, and the owner is a wealth of information on the history of the region and Corsica. If you go to Corsica, you absolutely must visit Bartavin.

I was deeply moved.
The food is excellent, and we will gladly return, as we have every time we visit.
