Impeccable flavors and presentation for my mother's 100th birthday meal. Le Chêne Vert is a highly recommended restaurant; the owner and chef are fantastic!

27/11/2025: Passing through this excellent restaurant, like many truckers on a weeknight, I received a very pleasant welcome. The dining room was beautifully decorated and had great sound. I enjoyed my meal very much, the restrooms were clean, and there was a small car park. It's a shame that trucks have to park downstairs. I will return.

15/12/2025: This Léon de Bruxelles in the northern part of Auxerre is typical of the chain: you go there without any surprises, but you know you'll get a decent meal. The menu is, of course, focused on seafood, but offers a few options if you don't like fish. I tried the Léon Casserole, which was good, although the amount of fish was a bit small and probably frozen. Be careful with the garnish: although it says sweet potatoes, it's mostly potatoes (about 80%). The paella was okay, but it's more of a French-style paella, nothing exceptional, and the rice used isn't ideal for this dish. Note that the drinks are quite expensive. Overall: It's a reliable restaurant for a quick meal if you're not looking for anything original. A decent choice.

13/09/2024: In a very original hut atmosphere of yesteryear you can enjoy generous and tasty cuisine, quality products, the pasta with scallops and foie gras are divine, the meat is succulent, the service is however a little long. The prices are in accordance with the quality of the cuisine and the products.

09/09/2024: Very good table, here we eat "pagnolesquely". Excellent welcome, very good advice on their beautiful wine cellar, the service is top notch to allow us to enjoy very good dishes. Book your evening blindfolded.

06/09/2024: A ne pas rater.. Très belle découverte!!!!! Des moules frites a tomber, pour un prix très raisonnable et un baba au rhum xxl exceptionnel...une cuisine familiale et un accueil très chaleureux.... On a adoré Rémi et Laurence (du Vaucluse)

09/01/2026: Undoubtedly the best value for money for lunch or dinner in Lorient. A pleasant, traditional establishment in its decor, with Naples fabrics and always fresh bread. The cuisine is quite modern, using quality ingredients and, above all, plenty of freshness… the dishes are presented with great care. The service is always friendly and discreet. 16/09/2025: The place itself looks really nice and authentic, but the service is horrible. Even if it’s full and they don’t accepting orders for food and you just ask for a drink inside (just pour a drink in a glass, take money, and I would bring a glass by myself to the table) they would do anything except this and let you wait standing for half hour. Or maybe it’s because I’m not French😂

24/06/2025: A highly recommended address, excellent family cuisine with old-fashioned flavors, including a cheese platter and a French press coffee maker on the table, authentic homemade desserts (increasingly rare), fast and efficient service, unbeatable prices. Beautiful, calm and relaxing country setting.

17/05/2025: A wonderful experience at this lovely, typical Jura farmhouse. The dinner was delicious and plentiful for an incredibly reasonable price! We were able to chat with the manager, who gave us great wine recommendations and introduced us to the region's specialties.
