17/03/2026: We came for my brother's birthday. We hadn't been to this restaurant before. What a wonderful surprise! The owners were very welcoming and friendly. We quickly felt at ease. The owner described the dishes like poems, captivating us with his story. Above all, we were eager to taste these surprises, and we weren't disappointed. Everything was pure enchantment. This fusion of two cuisines is a triumph. We won't have the pleasure of experiencing this cuisine and hospitality again. We wish the owners every success in their new Auvergne venture. And who knows what the future holds...

26/07/2026: By chance we ended up at this place and it was fantastic. Great atmosphere, cosy environment (cosy old pub style) and friendly staff. And the food was excellent, so good we gobbled it up and didn’t take any pictures! Tastiest and most authentic food I have had on Belle-Ile.

26/07/2026: Nice setting. Decent food too. It's a shame about the mussels and fries rip-off where you discover a €6 "fries" surcharge when the bill arrives. This surcharge isn't listed anywhere, certainly not mentioned when you order, of course. And the waiter insists that "it's like that everywhere" when you express surprise, as if it were the first time you'd ever eaten mussels in a restaurant. A rip-off, what a shame.

16/07/2026: We held our wedding at Sophie&Fils. It was fabulous! Anne-Haël was very responsive, available, and kind to all my questions throughout the planning process. The venue is lovely, both inside and out. The meal was excellent, and the servers, especially Antoine, were very friendly. We absolutely do not regret our choice! Everything was perfect. Thank you to the whole team!

09/07/2026: We went to lunch with three colleagues. The daily special was fish with salad. My colleague and I pointed out that the pieces were completely raw and far too large to eat. We didn't eat anything, and our plates were taken back full. We were simply told, "I'll bring it up." We left with only dessert in our stomachs. A real shame, and no compensation was offered.

The welcome was exceptionally friendly and professional, the interior modern, stylish, and spotlessly clean. The food was a true highlight. We were particularly impressed by the restaurant's child-friendliness – both the selection on the menu and the warm, playful manner of the staff. A big thank you to the entire team. We would love to come back again.

04/04/2026: A ☆TOP☆ recommendation from a very good friend 🙏 This was our first time at the mill, and we received outstanding service. The food and wine service are of an exceptionally high standard and truly deserve a Michelin star. The very friendly welcome and the consistently attentive, but never intrusive, service made the entire evening feel effortless. We also experienced truly authentic, first-class Alsatian cuisine, which was absolutely perfect. The portions and the impeccable presentation of the dishes were perfectly balanced. Ms. Benedict's wine recommendations were also excellent; she was always attentive, allowing us to fully enjoy the entire evening. It was our wedding anniversary, which also included our birthday, and we will definitely be returning in the future, even without any special occasions. 10/07/2026: We visited on July 5th, and for our fifth time at the mill, we were very satisfied, with only one minor complaint about a waitress. The presentation of a dish by Michelin-starred chef Sébastien was a real bonus. Thanks also to the manager, Nelly, for her kindness.

10/07/2026: An enchanting setting for an unforgettable culinary experience. We chose a menu showcasing all kinds of seafood (oysters, sardines, cuttlefish, crayfish, lobster, etc.) with a visual presentation worthy of the Impressionist painters!

19/05/2026: We thoroughly enjoyed the tranquility and location of the hotel on the banks of the Cousin River. It's a true haven of peace, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the lovely walks in the surrounding area. It was a complete change of scenery. A big thank you also to your restaurant team: dinner was excellent! Finally, we loved the hotel's decor and the comfort of our room, especially the quality of the bedding, which allowed us to rest well. We plan to return!

19/04/2026: This is the second year in a row that we've been meeting up with friends at the mill. The welcome and service were very pleasant, as was the ambiance of the cozy lounge and the dining room, which was perfectly remodeled. The outdoor setting offers a beautiful countryside ambiance. The dinner was beautifully served and delicious. As for breakfast, it's worth the detour! The hotel aspect could be improved a little, especially in the communal areas, but honestly, this place will be a great place for a future stay.

31/05/2026: So, off on an adventure, we were passing through Hyères, and I absolutely wanted to eat prawn pasta. I asked Chat GPT, and he even recommended this wonderful restaurant where you can smell the fresh fish. The meal was delicious. As a connoisseur of prawn pasta, even in Marseille, it's not as good. Warm welcome, guaranteed friendliness! They even had little chalks and a slate for the children. Everything was top-notch. Thank you for this great meal, and the portions are just right. At home, you pay, but you don't get two prawns that taste disastrous. Anyway, thank you for this great restaurant!

26/07/2026: Lunch today, the welcome and service were impeccable. The main course was good, but I was very disappointed with the desserts. Paying €9.50 for a slice of brioche, some bland chocolate that tasted like water, and a scoop of ice cream is outrageous. It requires no cooking or preparation at all; at that price, you can find excellent and delicious desserts in other restaurants. I'm not sure I'll be back.
