22/08/2026: A quality roadside and workers' restaurant, which is becoming rare. Set menu with a choice of two homemade dishes. It's always good. The starters and desserts are also homemade. The prices are very reasonable, the welcome is friendly, and the service is efficient. Note that the new team took over two years ago, so disregard the previous reviews.

10/08/2026: Catastrophic experience!!! It's a shame I can't give zero stars. Staying at the Ibis hotel, we had dinner this Saturday evening for two to celebrate one of our birthdays. We ordered aperitifs (a pastis and a kir), a rib-eye steak with two glasses of wine to accompany it, and a half-bottle of sparkling water. The waitress brought us the rib-eye steaks, which were black (being the daughter of a traditional butcher, I have serious doubts about the quality of said steak). I asked her where our aperitifs were; she said she had forgotten them and immediately went back to the kitchen, bringing them back to us five minutes later. We asked her if she really thought a pastis was appropriate with a ribeye steak (unless you downed it in one gulp to keep the steak from getting cold). She got annoyed, claiming she was doing everything herself and couldn't possibly think of everything. We refused the pastis and kept the kir, which we shared. We went to complain directly to a waiter at the bar who said he would look into it, but NO ONE came to our table again, and we never saw the two glasses of wine we ordered. Faced with such incompetence, we decided to cut our meal short, skipping dessert and coffee, and asked for the bill. We were glad we checked it before paying because we were charged for the pastis and the two glasses of wine. The nerve! We asked if it was a joke, the bill was corrected, and the kir and half-pint of sparkling water were offered (which seemed like the bare minimum). We left the restaurant, met with complete indifference from all the staff and without an apology, at least from me. Only our neighbors at the next table were outraged. A disastrous birthday evening, thankfully salvaged by the charming Maëlys from Ibis, with whom we had a very pleasant chat. Thank you, Maëlys. Obviously, we are not thanking Courtepaille for this ruined evening. We could have accepted everything if a manager had come to our table and offered a solution, but that didn't happen. The staff needs to be reviewed or trained. Thank you for your response. I am also surprised because we immediately spoke to two servers. One of them said he would speak with a manager and come back to see us, but apparently neither of them did so right away, since neither of them returned, and we had the unpleasant feeling of bothering you. And no, my partner did receive an apology, but I did not. In this case, it is only right that all affected customers receive an apology. Thank you for your gesture of goodwill, which, once again, seems to me to be the very least you could do. Please review this with your team.

02/09/2026: Great spot on the beach - the vibes are perfect for a coffee/ beer/ lunch post swim. We particularly enjoyed the UNCLE pilsner and the galette / crepe selection. Will 1000% be back :)

01/10/2026: It's a great place to eat and have a drink on a beautiful terrace with a view of the Eiffel Tower. The menu offers a variety of excellent and affordable dishes. It's a very lively place with music. We highly recommend it!

29/09/2026: A most unpleasant evening. The waiter clearly doesn't like his job, and if you want to add his nonchalant attitude to that, then you won't be disappointed! A know-it-all who doesn't yet realize we'll never be back. A tip was left nonetheless; we're not animals, even if we were treated like them! PS: The bridge is definitely the beginning of the end.

23/08/2026: I recommend it. Homemade dishes. Simple but very good. Pleasant waitresses. Reasonable value for money. We will definitely return. 2 adults, 1 child: 78 euros for 2 set menus (starter/main/dessert) + 1 children's menu.

28/09/2026: The experience was ruined by service that fell far short of expectations for this brasserie (extremely slow, no one came to serve us spontaneously after we ordered, and at the end, neither a thank you nor a goodbye). It's a shame because the seafood was excellent. I have no desire to return.

28/09/2026: No, the service was absolutely terrible today! There were five of us in the restaurant, but at least six employees. There was no welcome at the entrance. After being seated for ten minutes, we had to ask for the menu. We had to ask for the aperitifs. We had to ask for anything to nibble on. We had to ask to place our order. The seafood platter was absolutely magnificent. Throughout the entire meal, no one came to ask if everything was alright. We had to ask for our plates to be cleared and for the dessert menu. We left, and not one of the six employees we passed said goodbye! It had been a long time since I'd experienced such abysmal service! And yet the restaurant was empty and the staff seemed overcrowded. The bill for two was over €250. I won't be back.

25/09/2026: High-quality cuisine at a reasonable and justified price. Impeccable service, attentive and very professional waiters. A very pleasant young woman on the terrace; we returned with friends the following week and enjoyed it just as much. Peaceful location on the banks of the Loire.
