15/05/2026: It's always a pleasure to visit Le Bois Doré. Whether it's lunchtime on the shaded terrace or dinner inside in the intimate setting, we're always delighted. On each visit, we order different dishes, and we've never been disappointed. Everything is delicious, the flavors are perfectly balanced, the presentation is refined, and the portions are generous. In our opinion, the value for money is unbeatable. While some dishes might seem pricey, the quality of the food justifies the cost. In short, we highly recommend this restaurant!

10/05/2026: I've eaten at this restaurant several times and have never been disappointed. I'm always warmly welcomed, and the servers are very friendly. The cloth tablecloths and napkins are a rare and welcome touch. A nice little extra with the set menu (the bistro menu for me) is the complimentary amuse-bouche and verrine with the starter, and a small meringue and financier with the coffee. These are truly thoughtful touches that are much appreciated. What's great is that the menu changes every three months. This allows you to come back often and discover new dishes each time. The value for money is excellent. The setting, both inside and out, is pleasant and refreshing with the greenery, even though we're not far from the city center. The best part is the huge parking lot; despite the restaurant being very busy, you can always find a space. I highly recommend this restaurant.

27/06/2026: I came across the best waiter, very empathetic, kind and lovely. My husband ordered the dish of the day and I ordered a burger, but I forgot to specify without salad (because I am not immune to toxoplasmosis). They changed my burger without any fuss, very kindly, and quite quickly. I really appreciated this empathy, plus it was super tasty. I recommend it without hesitation. Thank you for this pleasant welcome, it warms my heart.

17/05/2026: A pleasant little bistro with good value for money. The foie gras was a bit disappointing, but the vegetarian dish was excellent.

14/05/2026: A very disappointing experience at Chez Paul restaurant. We arrived 15 minutes late, which is understandable, but the welcome was immediately cold and unpleasant. The owner made this very clear: no smile, barely a glance, and a distinctly contemptuous attitude, while we, for our part, were polite and in good spirits. We were seated quickly, practically rushed to our table, with obvious pressure to order as soon as possible, as if the goal was simply to get us out of there quickly. But the worst was yet to come. While chatting quietly, I showed a short video (less than a minute, with low volume) to my friend. At that point, we received a very inappropriate remark, both from a customer and the owner, in an arrogant tone, criticizing us for using a phone, even though the restaurant was already noisy. The atmosphere became extremely tense. We then calmly asked the owner if there was a problem with us… and his response was to throw us out. He even took away the glasses of wine we had just ordered. We were expelled without any real explanation, under the pretext that we were causing a disturbance, which is hard to believe given the circumstances. For your information, we are three respectful people, one of whom is 62 years old and manages a well-known hair salon in Rennes, and all three are hairdressing professionals accustomed to customer interaction. And believe me, we will be spreading the word. This is the first time we have ever experienced anything like this. Being treated this way is unacceptable.

04/06/2026: I've booked at this B&B several times and honestly, I've never had any problems. The rooms are very nice and clean (they just need a small bin in the room because the one in the bathroom isn't big enough), the staff are always very kind and welcoming. The hotel is well located. No problems at all 🤗

30/05/2026: Great location near the metro accessible to the airport and busses. Lovely aircon in the room & bathroom/bed. Room was small but for 1 person it was adequate. Hotel took security very seriously which was very welcomed, had to give reception my room pass everytime I went out/retrieve it when I got back but I didn’t kind - as mentioned it meant they were serious about security and there was also someone at reception 24/7. Would recommend staying!

07/06/2026: Late bookings accepted! The food is absolutely top-notch! A warm welcome, very professional and friendly service! The setting on the Cotinière harbor is also a highlight! The food is an absolute delight! Refined presentation, generous portions. Everything homemade!!! A true delight! The homemade infused rums are excellent, and they offer great advice on which flavors to choose! Fresh and delicious fish. I highly recommend this restaurant for both its cuisine and its friendly service!
