02/05/2026: Incredible evening with an exceptional meal and excellent service, although the staff seemed a bit overworked and rushed, not calm enough in the end. However, I do have one suggestion to improve our future visit to this magnificent restaurant: we were seated inside, and the temperature was unbearable. I was surprised the architect didn't prioritize comfort for the guests; it's a basic requirement at this level. I recommend this place to all food lovers. 18/04/2026: I thought I'd already eaten sauerkraut before going to this restaurant… but no! It was the first time I'd ever had REAL sauerkraut, with cabbage cooked in Riesling and a mild mustard on the side (not Dijon mustard, then)… the staff really took great care of their customers. Traditional, home-style cooking… a world away from tourist traps.

12/04/2026: This is a hidden gem downtown Strasbourg. It’s better to book the table, but we were lucky with walk-in. Food is traditional, homemade a tastes great.

07/04/2026: A wonderful experience at Les Arcades restaurant during dinner. We sampled the starter, main course, and dessert, paired with wine. A true delight! The dishes were beautifully presented, and the service was impeccable, with pleasant and attentive staff who were never intrusive. While admittedly pricey, it's a treat worth indulging in occasionally. Keep up the good work, and we look forward to returning to your establishment.

As a lone female, I felt very welcome and comfortable here: mix of professionals eating out after a day at the office, families and groups of friends which gave a nice atmosphere. Staff were friendly and helpful. Extremely quick service. Delicious crepe and glass of rosé. Highly recommend. One happy customer!

08/06/2026: The positive: The food is excellent. No complaints about the quality of the dishes on the plate; they were truly delicious. It's a shame the overall experience was spoiled by the bizarre and disrespectful service. The negative: Service that reached the height of contempt. From the moment we arrived, we were looked down our noses at with blatant disdain by a man sitting on the terrace, who greeted us in a very haughty manner. Thinking he worked there, we asked him if we could still get a table (it was 8:15 pm). The man got up, went into the restaurant to ask the waiter... only for us to finally understand that he didn't even work there, but was just a friend of the waiter! The waiter then took over, equally disdainful, offering us a rather unfriendly "Okay, fine" as we were seated. The rest of the experience was a series of uncomfortable moments: The snobbish ordering: In addition to our main courses, we ordered two cocktails. When asked what we wanted to drink with our meal, we politely replied that the two cocktails (at €15 each, mind you) would suffice for now. The waiter's response, with a condescending look: "Ah, so a carafe of water..." A deplorable sense of customer service and hospitality. The "party with friends" atmosphere: While we were having drinks on the terrace, the staff seemed to have mistaken their workplace for a private club. Between the waiter's friends kissing, smooching, and touching each other in front of the other customers, and one of the waiter's so-called buddies calmly rolling a joint in full view of everyone on the terrace... we wondered where the professionalism had gone. We would, however, like to thank the young waitress who, unlike us, was pleasant and professional.
