09/05/2026: A very good restaurant in Clermont-Ferrand. The welcome is very warm, the menu simple (I hate it when there are too many choices because it often means the food isn't fresh) but composed entirely of very good ingredients. The dishes are refined, with excellent seasoning. In short, a very good restaurant for a lovely evening.

For starters, snails, a small mixed salad with warm gizzards, and then we come back to taste the prawns with homemade mayonnaise, etc., etc., and to conclude, a hot meal with sweetbreads, a killer dish accompanied of course by vegetables, and as the ad says, you've given me the whole picture, I'll take it all, thank you to the whole team, I recommend it 200%.

26/02/2026: Valentine's Day was a much-anticipated event this year, especially after the difficulties caused by Storm Nils. We were genuinely happy to finally enjoy a cozy evening in a friendly atmosphere. Natasha's welcome was absolutely perfect: smiling, professional, attentive… truly top-notch, thank you to her for her presence and efficiency. However, the meal left us perplexed. At €35 per person, we expected a more refined experience, both in terms of quality and the menu. Unfortunately, the value for money didn't seem to live up to the occasion. It's a real shame, because the setting and the welcome were excellent.

03/07/2026: Very disappointed… it was recommended to me because of its appealing appearance, but the service from beginning to end was truly unpleasant, not a word, almost like we were bothering you… a really awkward welcome. As for the food, nothing special, too much salt, too much lemon, tiny portions… in short, nothing was right. The wine is good. It's not worth the hype at all.

22/06/2026: We stopped for dinner almost by chance, but we were really satisfied. Great prices and good food, and the service was also excellent. The young man who served us was very kind. Unfortunately, like 90% of the places in Paris, it isn't air-conditioned.

29/06/2026: Today at lunchtime, first and last time at this restaurant. Disappointing experience, luckily I was a guest… Let me explain: we had taken the trouble to book, but when we arrived our table wasn't ready. Never mind. Then, we wanted three daily specials, but there were only two left at 12:20 pm… We asked if it was possible to have another dish instead that would fit into the lunchtime set menu. Answer: no. Okay, the waitress explained, apologized. Her bosses weren't there. We understood. We looked at the menu and there (magical, I'd NEVER seen this before!) it was written in black and white that those who only ordered a starter would be charged €2 extra! Basically, they penalize customers who don't order enough and they put it in writing! Unheard of 🤯😅 I won't even mention the enormous, indigestible mess they served me for my main course, which was supposed to be a mixed salad. In short, if customers are happy with it, great, there's something for everyone. For us, it's a thumbs up 👎

10/06/2026: Really good food, pleasant service, the restaurant/bar is often full, especially when the weather is nice, remember to book as the room is quite small.

14/05/2026: We had a very good meal at Croix des Gardes, where we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves; a set menu with good value for money and friendly staff who accepted that we came with our dog.

01/07/2026: Our waiter was hilariously inept. I ordered Lillet (from the menu) and he brought Suze. We said it was wrong and I wanted Lillet, so he brought me a vermouth, on the house. 🤦. It took a while and a couple tries to get a food menu. They only had pizza and a few appetizers because it wasn't the weekend, but the pizza was really good. And the older gentleman cooking was very sweet and helpful. It was a memorable experience all in all

26/06/2026: Avoid this ribeye steak at all costs! The meat quality is horrendous, full of sinew, tendons, and who knows what else. The meat was burnt on one side, blue on the other, and even raw in the middle. For €24, I only got 5 fries...
