24/09/2026: We were rather disappointed with our meal at La Nautique. While the setting is beautiful, the food was very mediocre. The pasta with clams was disappointing: about three out of four clams were empty, and there was a kind of breadcrumb coating on the pasta, making it quite dry. We also ordered beef carpaccio with new potatoes, but fries arrived instead, without any prior notification of the change in sides. We explained the situation to the waiter, and the manager came over to offer us dessert, a gesture we appreciated given the rather poor quality of the meal.

24/09/2026: Dinner for two: Course 1: "Linguine alle Vongole" with about twenty empty clam shells (and no "vongole" in the sauce either, in case they had fallen off!). Where did the empty shells come from? I hope not from another customer's finished plate... Breadcrumbs (!) on the pasta so the sauce is well absorbed and the linguine is nice and dry. Course 2: Carpaccio with capers and parmesan shavings with new potatoes, but no capers or parmesan shavings, and served with fries. When we pointed out that we wanted new potatoes, the response was, "Sorry, tonight it's fries only." Perhaps they should have let us know in advance? In short, nice place, pleasant service, but the food is best avoided.

22/09/2026: Good prices during happy hour, yet the quality is very decent (cocktails and beer). A proper 50cl pint and cocktails (sometimes) with popcorn on the side.

20/08/2026: We came as a couple after a very long hike, and we thank you very much for the ice cubes. The meal was delicious and very generous. Thank you for your kindness and warm welcome.

06/08/2026: I recommend this restaurant. The menus are good. Very reasonable prices. Complete menu with starter, main course, cheese, and dessert. Very friendly waitresses.

31/08/2026: The setting is beautiful, but the waitress was unpleasant, cold, and not at all friendly. She took orders behind people's backs, and when we asked her what sauces were available to go with the meat, she coldly replied that they weren't on the menu. However, the reception staff were absolutely fantastic at seating us—friendly, smiling, and attentive to our needs. The drinks staff were also excellent.

12/09/2026: I'm just leaving a quick comment to thank the owners for their warm welcome. I'm a hiker, I was just passing by and stopped by right before setting up camp at the chapel. I received a royal welcome, I was able to refill my water bottles, and my dog ​​got the red carpet treatment: dog food, cuddles, and compliments! In short, thank you 🙏

23/08/2026: After the climb from Véranne, there's nothing better than a meal at this inn. The experience is always the same: a warm welcome and generous portions. After that, the climb to the Col du Grateau is a bit more challenging. 😄
