29/03/2026: We arrived late and were able to have dinner without any problem. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The menu was varied, and we were served very quickly.

28/02/2026: Honestly, a very pleasant surprise! I don't usually eat in hotels, but based on the reviews, I decided to give it a try… and I don't regret it at all. The setting is really lovely, clean, and well-maintained; you feel right at home. The dishes were very good, beautifully presented, and delicious. A great find, I'll gladly return. Highly recommended! 👍

28/04/2026: Just having arrived in Monpazier, I walked in to Restaurant Eleonore late and without a reservation. Isabelle, the owner was very accommodating offering me a table even though it was at the end of their dinner service. The meal of filet of beef was delicious and the presentation wonderful. Danin my server was exceptional and anticipated my every need. I highly recommend dinner at Restaurant Eleonore.

27/12/2025: Christmas Eve: A refined and welcoming atmosphere. Impeccable service. The menu: sophisticated, refined, elegant, and absolutely wonderful. The quality of the ingredients is beautifully showcased by the chef and his team. Special mention goes to the duck breast Wellington. It was well worth the 1 hour and 15 minute drive!

05/06/2026: Excellent restaurant near Les Halles. The seafood is good, the platters with dishes to cook on the hot stone are excellent, and the homemade Bailey's is a must-try. All served by very welcoming ladies.

20/05/2026: We were originally supposed to eat in Montpeyroux, but not much was open, so on the way back we stopped here. When the daily menu was announced, I was a little skeptical: rice salad and pork chop with Vichy carrots. But we ordered three set menus for €17 each, and they were a real treat! I even got homemade fries with my carrots. The meat and sauce were succulent, as were the perfectly cooked carrots. The floating island for dessert was also divine. The atmosphere was friendly and unpretentious, the staff were incredibly welcoming, and the bread served at the table was simply delicious.

24/05/2026: It might have been an exceptionally busy day, but the service was catastrophic: no one to take our order, servers constantly passing by without acknowledging us despite repeated calls, and some menu items unavailable. Only the bartender somewhat redeemed the situation by offering us free coffees, seeing my exasperation. In the end, it took almost three hours to eat a salad... In short, a bad experience that warrants a return visit to see if it was just a fluke.

06/12/2025: A good restaurant located in the castle square of Cagnes-sur-Mer. We tried a traditional fried cheese, sea bream, and cacio e pepe pasta. Everything was delicious, including the crème brûlée. The underground dining room is beautiful. It's in a great location near the town's castle.

18/02/2026: The menu was very good, but the portions weren't sufficient (especially the lamb chop; there should have been at least two for the price of the dish). A small comment to the chef, who justified the portion size by saying it was cooked thoroughly (but a raw lamb chop rarely weighs 150g of meat on its own without the bone). Also, there was no "classic" meat dish for those who don't like lamb or red mullet (squab wasn't included in the menu). Scallops are an option if you're not allergic. Ultimately, you're mainly paying for the restaurant's beautiful setting, as we were left wanting more.

17/02/2026: Excellent evening. The welcome, food, and wines were all of very high quality. A real pleasure for this relaxing break. We will gladly return.

12/04/2026: Finally, the snail is back after a disappointing period; good food has returned to this charming restaurant. For the duration of a meal, it transports us to Burgundy or elsewhere, far from the Parisian suburbs. Go there quickly! The waiter is as friendly as ever.
