06/09/2026: Love the Linnet, probably the most authentic pub in Paris. Great regulars, affordable pints, friendly service, a pool table and a darts board, what more can you ask for! No food but you can bring your own. Good trad sessions on as well. The years go by and I keep coming back here.

09/10/2026: I was particularly delighted with my visit to La Fringale, especially thanks to a waitress wearing large glasses who was lovely to me from the beginning to the end of my lunch. I had many requests and she was able to answer them all without once showing a sign of annoyance. The food was good, as was the setting. I would have liked to increase my tip for this young woman if I could have, but unfortunately I didn't have enough on me.

04/10/2026: The butcher's cut was a bit tough and slightly overcooked for rare. Otherwise, good.

22/10/2026: After visiting the Calanques of Pinia, I recommend stopping here at the Le Cyrnée restaurant in Porto. Excellent cuisine, fresh fish, and a very indulgent dessert.

17/09/2026: Great place! I've been coming here from time to time for years and it's a fantastic place. Friendly service, good quality traditional cuisine, and generous portions.

17/09/2026: The people who run this place seem very welcoming, but the food is really bad. I ordered two takeaway dishes: vegetables that weren't fresh, rice that was undercooked (almost nothing to eat), and meat with a slightly strange taste. The hamburger was just okay for the quality. I'd say the prices are too high; you expect much better. Very disappointed.

27/09/2026: Everything was excellent, and the prices aren't expensive considering it's a tourist area. The waitress who served us spoke a little Spanish and was very friendly. Highly recommended. Try the tartiflette 🤤

20/10/2026: ❤️I’m truly grateful to L’Écailler du Bistrot. I visited twice and had the pleasure of tasting several different varieties of oysters. 🤩For me, the experience of enjoying oysters here was truly unique. It felt as though I had stepped into an oyster museum in the form of a restaurant. Across my two visits, I tasted Huîtres plates du Belon N°1, Huîtres creuses N°3, Spéciales Perles Noires N°3, and Spéciales Utah Beach N°3. Being able to taste and compare these high-quality oysters, with their different varieties, origins and characteristics, gave me a much more tangible understanding of the diversity of oysters. It was not just a meal, but also a fascinating learning experience. 😘I was equally impressed by the lady staff’s attentive approach to wine recommendations. She listened carefully when I explained my preference for dry white wines with pronounced minerality, and recommended a wine that matched my taste remarkably well. Many other French restaurants have told me they don’t offer this style of wine and have instead suggested dry whites with more pronounced fruity notes. 🥳Being able to enjoy a wine that truly suits my palate alongside food I love made the experience all the more special and strengthened my appreciation for L’Écailler du Bistrot even further.

06/10/2026: It's one of those French places, far from the typical tourist restaurants, that I return to every time I go to Paris. I love both the location, which is very authentic and typically Parisian, and the quality of the cuisine. The fish is excellent, and in my opinion, the two must-try dishes are definitely the oysters and the sole. The prices are quite high, but I personally find the quality of the food worth it. It's one of those places I keep coming back to because it maintains its identity over time. And to finish off the dinner: frozen vodka!

It was a quiet place to start, but the atmosphere picked up as the evening progressed. All this was made even better by the lovely and friendly Morgane and her team.

The food is rich, hearty, and delicious. The dishes are expertly prepared. A bar is available for those who prefer a drink break. A pleasant experience awaits you at this establishment.
