24/10/2026: Lunch today with the family... a REAL restaurant. We felt right at home with exquisite and refined traditional cuisine, pickles with an aperitif, a starter, a main course (venison stew 🙏), cheese, and dessert... everything was perfect. A charming waitress was always attentive, smiling, with a kind word to make us laugh ❤️. The chef regularly came to check on the customers, and there was a small bag of sweets for the children on the way out... all this for €25 per person... nothing to complain about except a huge thank you for this wonderful experience 😁🇲🇫🧑‍🍳.

14/10/2026: We stayed near the restaurant and the second time we passed by the door we decided to get in line. This would be our second restaurant of this style: salad, meat with french fries. My first impression was "we're famous and this is what we offer. If you don't want it, you can leave." When I asked how it worked, she replied that it was meat and french fries with a salad starter. The only thing we chose was the doneness of the meat. The salad arrived and it was delicious. The meat arrived, we thought it was too little. Then we realized that there was more meat but she only served it after finishing the first one. A large quantity of french fries. What I felt, and that's why the 3 rating, is that it's an automated service. Not courteous, not kind, and kind of pretentious. The food is really good, but I wouldn't go back. For the desserts, the waitress asked us to look at the photos on Google. Their menu uses cursive writing and Google Translate doesn't translate almost anything. In other words, you'll have to look on Google if you don't read French. There were 2 adults and 2 children and the bill came to 112 euros, excluding tip. The environment was very lively and noisy.

16/06/2026: I came after hearing so much about the trompe-l'œil pastries. I wanted to try the hazelnut one, but unfortunately, I was very disappointed; they don't make it anymore. So, I took the advice of the very friendly saleswoman and chose the mango. I admit it was well-made and a good pastry. But the price… €7, and it's really a small portion! While the pistachio and peanut pastries were bigger and the others a bit cheaper, the mango was truly tiny for the price. I noticed that all the pastries in the bakery are quite expensive considering their size. I don't want to downplay the pastry chefs' work, but I don't think the quality-price ratio is really reasonable. Perhaps I'll change my mind about the hazelnut one someday when it's back in stock. I still want to commend the shopkeeper for her kindness and helpful advice.

13/10/2026: Excellent restaurant where expertise and refined cuisine still mean something. Kudos to the chef who does everything herself: cooking and serving. A short menu featuring fresh, seasonal ingredients. Furthermore, her dual training as a sommelier allows her to suggest perfect food and wine pairings. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Don't be fooled by the restaurant's exterior; it's a hidden gem. It's a shame it's closing soon. When only fast food restaurants remain in France, it shouldn't be surprising, unfortunately.

09/08/2026: Delighted with this discovery tonight! The quality of the food was excellent, everything was homemade, a real culinary pleasure. As for the staff, from the waiter to the owner, everyone was very friendly. This was our first restaurant of the holidays and it won't be the last. See you soon!

24/10/2026: Overall, very good. With the foie gras, caramelized onions or figs would be nice. The sweetbreads with morels were very good, just a little too fatty. Next time we'll come for the truffade :)

23/10/2026: What can I say except thank you!!!! Excellent lunch, superb service. This is what a restaurant should be: the ingredients, the quality of the food, the friendly atmosphere. Eggs meurette, sweetbreads with morels—perfection was close to it on my plate. Highly recommended.

06/09/2026: Why the difference? I'm a woman sitting alone on the terrace, ordering a mozzarella. At the next table, three people—two women and one man—order soft drinks. They get a small bowl with a snack. Why not me? I'm a woman? I'm alone?? These differences annoy me. It's a shame. The place, especially on Sunday mornings and at lunchtime, is lively and cheerful, I'd say.

28/09/2026: First time at this restaurant, and I noticed it's best to book in advance as it's very popular. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The prices are more than reasonable; you'll see how generous the portions are from the photos. I recommend this restaurant and will definitely return.
