08/07/2026: It is a cozy bar where they serve small dishes. We ordered a bottle of wine and a charcuterie board. They only serve good wine from Corsica and everything else a bar has. The price of the wine is between 33 and 60 euros. The vibe is relaxed with a beautiful terrace. We arrived here around 11:30 PM.

15/06/2026: I'm giving it one star because the food was decent, but I don't understand why no one complained about the service. My husband and I ordered three plates of tapas and wanted dessert afterward, but after waiting 45 minutes without our plates being cleared, we got up and paid ourselves. I should mention that the servers were right next to us since there weren't many other customers. First and last time; maybe it appeals to tourists...

12/07/2026: Hello. Second visit to Balsamic. We were disappointed. Minimalist menu. The servers, although friendly, seemed overwhelmed. No details about the dishes. We had a starter to share. It was okay (burrata) with the aperitif. However, the main course was disappointing: Minion steak and vegetables. The vegetables were waterlogged and covered in sauce. The water and sauce mixture didn't hold its shape on the plate. It wasn't appetizing. The Caesar salad was nothing like a Caesar salad: three baby gem lettuce leaves cut in half, one egg cut in half, and a few cherry tomatoes. €23 for the salad. A bit pricey for salad and an egg. They should really reconsider the name of this salad. This place also needs some tidying up. We were seated on the terrace next to an unkempt area. I think a trip to the dump is in order; the ambiance and appearance clearly warrant some attention. To finish, we had a double espresso. It tasted like a coffee infusion. Served in a tiny bowl. In short, we were disappointed with this meal.

05/07/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent dessert! The flavors are delicate, the presentation elegant, and the portions generous. The texture is perfect, neither too sweet nor too heavy, and every bite is a true delight. The welcome is warm, the service quick, and the prices very reasonable. I highly recommend it and will gladly return!

10/07/2026: Excellent food. The restaurant and service are also very, very good. I'm only deducting one star because it's located near a very busy road where, despite the privacy created by the staff, traffic noise is still present. The ravioli with blackcurrant were divine. Thank you to the whole team.

10/07/2026: Absolutely fantastic, super delicious! It's a shame the service was a bit slow, especially considering the waiter had to manage both the drinks and the table service – not easy for him. Otherwise, very good.

18/07/2026: A very pleasant place, excellent food and great cocktails. Our waitress, Tosca, was absolutely fantastic; she greatly contributed to the quality of our evening and we thank her for that!

18/07/2026: The food is okay, but nothing special. Unfortunately, my burger, despite being requested to be cooked fully, wasn't done. The service wasn't very friendly either; drinks weren't poured and were simply left unattended without a word. We even had to ask for our order; it wasn't offered.

03/07/2026: I came this Thursday at lunchtime and wanted to leave a review because I really don't understand some of the negative comments about the service. The women there were simply lovely: smiling, professional, attentive, and incredibly kind. You feel welcomed with a smile as soon as you walk through the door, and it really makes a difference. The coffee is excellent, the place is pleasant, but it's the quality of the service that impressed me most. Thank you to the whole team for this lovely experience; I'll gladly come back!

15/04/2026: The waiter was mean and threw an alcoholic mojito when we said we wanted one without it, he argued that there was no such thing as a mojito without alcohol, then he brought us one without alcohol, he was arrogant, rude, threw the drink on the table and we had to use the toilet.

13/04/2026: I've known this place for over 30 years (the management has changed since then, but not the service!). To my knowledge, it's the last truly popular brasserie in the Latin Quarter. The food is traditional, tasty, and without unnecessary frills. I recommend the daily specials, the fish and chips, and especially the homemade chocolate mousse.
