Away from the tourist crowds, it's a friendly place where you'll feel like a local. The service is fast, the coffee is delicious, and the prices are quite reasonable. A simple, clean, and very welcoming establishment. Great location, friendly service, and a very pleasant terrace. We stopped for a short break on our Bergerac/Dordogne route and were very pleased. It has the atmosphere of a friendly neighborhood café that reflects the spirit of the town. Definitely recommended."

11/01/2026: We were able to eat there despite a hiccup with the online reservation. The setting is magnificent, with a view of the park, the greenhouse, and the castle. We opted for the 8-course menu, and it was excellent! You do need to have a good appetite, though, as the portions are generous. The wine and non-alcoholic beverage pairings made for a truly enriching experience, and Hugo's explanations were superb. The service team and the kitchen staff will ensure you have a wonderful time.

The fish and shellfish counter is so tempting; you can tell that true professionals are at work. The welcome is warm, whether in the restaurant or the fish shop; we were very well received by all the staff and the owner. The restaurant is also very beautiful, with a real attention to detail. Simply put, it's THE benchmark in the area and more; go there if you won't be disappointed. We'll definitely be back!

03/01/2026: Having ordered some seafood for New Year's Eve, the freshness was lacking. The whelks and periwinkles had to go in the bin, and the Madagascar prawns were sticky. What a shame! We won't be going back.

02/01/2026: Frozen, not fresh, langoustines. Prawns were very good. Oysters were very good. Whelks were average. Disappointed with the langoustines on our first visit.
