18/05/2026: As always, a friendly team in the dining room, and thankfully so, because they have to make up for the problems in the kitchen. Although there wasn't much to worry about that evening, they had to reheat the famous stuffed tomato swimming in a store-bought sauce. But more troubling was the black pudding, which was quickly boiled, barely cooked, and of course, cold, served with a piece of apple that was overcooked and another that was practically raw. What a shame! It's not much, but it spoils the atmosphere. Kudos, however, for the chocolate mousse. Oh, and perhaps keep the vegetables on offer; the fries weren't great... It's not easy to run a successful restaurant, and I'm sure the staff are doing their best. Perhaps they need a leader. Have a good season.

16/07/2026: I wanted to have a drink for a few minutes at 7 pm. Tables were set. I went in, said a polite hello, and asked the owner if I could have a drink on the terrace. He said, "Go ahead." Then, on the terrace, a waiter asked me if I was alone. I said yes. Then he told me there were no more seats! What a welcome in Lamalou! I'm 80% disabled; maybe they don't like disabled people!

26/06/2026: Problems with the order. The beer was flat, really bad, so we sent it back. The owner came in, furious, and asked, "What's wrong with the beer?" Seriously, €10 for a beer? We expect a minimum. We won't be back, and I feel sorry for the employees. A boss like that is a boss to avoid.

03/05/2026: We had a very home-like experience, both in terms of atmosphere and food (simple but hearty). The service was a bit disorganized; many of the staff were very pleasant but seemed somewhat disorganized (and their French wasn't great). Beautiful location and lovely establishment...👍

20/04/2026: After booking, it turned out that the hotel was located too far from the planned hiking route. After explaining this, the hotel cancelled the booking free of charge.

12/07/2026: I had been looking forward to dining here for weeks because of the reviews, so this experience was incredibly disappointing. I arrived at around 8:30 p.m. and waited close to an hour for my food. After waiting for so long, I eventually had to go to the reception and ask the staff what had happened to my order. They apologised and offered me an extra glass of wine, but by that point the experience had already been ruined. The staff themselves admitted that it doesn’t normally take this long for a beef bourguignon, which gave me the impression that my order had simply been forgotten and never sent to the kitchen. Unfortunately, the food wasn’t worth the wait. The beef bourguignon was decent, but nowhere near as good as the one at Au Bourguignon de Marais, and certainly not worth waiting for an hour. It’s a shame because I had high expectations based on the restaurant’s reputation, but the service was disappointing . No matter how good the food might be, being forgotten for close to an hour completely overshadowed the meal and ruined what should have been an enjoyable evening.

08/07/2026: An idyllic setting in the heart of the Marais. Seasonal cuisine, the daily specials are very well prepared, the beef bourguignon is one of the best in Paris, the meat is excellent and the sauce is a delight. The atmosphere in the dining room is cheerful and the service is attentive. I highly recommend it and will be back soon.

24/05/2026: I enjoyed some excellent homemade ice cream there during my visit to Najac. The welcome was very pleasant and the service was really fast. Of course, the beach is a long way away 😀, but you'll have a very pleasant time at this establishment. I highly recommend it!

16/05/2026: The spa was very slippery, the pool wasn't very clean (algae in the corners), the jacuzzi was empty, and there were no clean towels available, just a huge pile of dirty ones from all day. My husband and I had to share one towel. The hammam wasn't heating up, and the button to adjust the water temperature came off in our hands. At breakfast, we waited ages for a pastry, and after 5 minutes, I finally got a hot chocolate because for €15, you don't get an espresso or latte; it's extra. If you want something else, you make it yourself on a Tefal crepe maker, just like at home, except it costs €15! What a joke! We'll never come back!

16/05/2026: A wonderful experience! We stayed two nights and everything was perfect: the welcome, the warm and attentive staff, the room with a view, the pool and spa, the breakfast and meals. A truly relaxing getaway!

16/06/2026: While Google Maps says this is open, I traveled all the way here to find that the exposition is closed. Very annoying and frustrating that I planned my afternoon around this! Please have accurate information available!

11/07/2026: I've been stopping by every morning for the past two months. A pleasant experience, a wide selection, quality products, good service, and a smiling waitress. I was even told I had a nice t-shirt (always nice to receive a compliment). I highly recommend it.
